Arcadia High School Apache Marching Band peforming their march entitled The Rifle Regiment by John Philip Sousa at the 56th Annual Arcadia Band Review Festival of Bands on Saturday, November 21st 2009. The band is led by Military Drum Major Leandro Alcantara.
Arcadia served as the Host Band at this event.

@ZACKKrox For this band review, since they serve as the host band, all members march. Generally for parade band competitions, they have a parade block which they hold auditions for.

i'm always amazed when i see them march onto the field at a competition
how do they manage to fit all those people lol
i can't imagine what it must be like in their classroom in the mornings...

The band marches very well and does a fine job playing A Sousa march that we should hear more often. Keep up the good work.

This was the march that the Kirk Stitt led AHS Marching Band played during the 1967 - 68 year. The red A on top of the gym was our senior class gift that year....1968.

@kmyres14 actually, in the mornings, we just practice on the football field or on the street. out music we practice in different periods. Band 1 is per.2 Band 3 is Per.3, and Band 2 is a different period.

This is the home parade, so everyone marches.

They have a varsity and junior varisty block that perform separately at band reviews throughout the season. I think I heard that freshmen are automatically put into JV, along with some people in higher grades. Everyone else is put into varsity.

Woah, this band is awesome. My band is like 2 &1/2 times larger, but we aren't nearly as precise in out marching as this!
