Dear Dr Dray, Catching up on your videos and I have enjoyed them all. You hair cut was cute and sassy. I have used PONDS cold cream to remove my makeup for about 40 years. Recently I tried some facial makeup removal wipes. OUCH .. They stung my face. I quickly went back to my PONDS. ~ Joanna♡
Andrea have you tried using a satin pillowcase? I use one and it really helps a lot keeping your hair from getting messed up as you sleep ! I thought you might like that since you don’t normally brush your hair ! 😊
I realize this video is old but Pond Cold Cream is LOADED with fragrance. It didn't give me pimples but it irritated my skin. Also it was very strong smelling. FYI to any one else that stumbles upon this video.

I found a sunscreen called Zinka, it has zinc oxide and titanium dioxide and is colored, have you heard of it? I ordered me a tube and I combine it with Solar Sense clear zinc. One more question. Thanks!! The zinka we have here is mostly the wildly colored "nose coat" for kids (like bright blue and pink). They also make a combination clear sunscreen. You can mix, but no need to
I wish I could take biotin! Every time I take it I break out in small pimples all over my face. Luckily, they clear up upon discontinuing the supplement, but I really want to take it for my nails and hair! My nails are awful! I read somewhere that the reason biotin breaks you out is because it reduces the amount of B5 which is one of the vitamins that helps maintain clear skin? What are your thoughts on why biotin might break me out? Thanks so much!
People have commented that biotin breaks them out, however, there is no report of this in the medical literature. It is possble, but the B5 claim is not substantiated. I discuss this in a recent q&a as well

Dr Dray Thank you for your advice. I have an appointment with a dermatologist on Wednesday so will get something I can trust from him. I think the only tretinoin cream they prescribe is Obagi. Will be a lot more expensive bit it is worth it. Better than ruining my skin!
Your hair looks sexy and thick! Ponds cold cream is full of mineral oil and yes it breaks you out. I use 100% natural glycerin soap. It never breaks me out when a lot of soaps and cleansers do.
Cute haircut! I have a skin question which I hope you'll answer. My dermatologist literally grunts at me and hands me my Rx for retin-a/duac/whatever and that's it. Spends a max of 2 minutes with me. I may have to switch. ANyhoo... Here's my problem, I use retin-a for acne with success, have been for over a decade. My skin is oily but the skin on my nose is RIDICULOUSLY oily. It will look wet within an hour of washing it. In one of your videos you said adapalene was specifically good for that--it target the sebaceous glands? Or am I wrong? So I bought some and thought I would just apply it to my nose. I have no blackheads or pimples, just very large, clear pores. I have also started using Niacin within the last 6 weeks or so and it seems to have made a marginal difference in the size of my pores. Should I continue with the Differin on the nose, or should I just use the Niacin? Or maybe alternate? Or perhaps add in Mandelic acid once or twice a month? It is so bad that I have never been able to find a mattifying primer that remotely mattified the skin on my nose. I'd put it on par with moderate-to-severe acne as far as social embarrassment goes. Would greatly appreciate any help! (PS - I have been plugging your youtube# wherever I can--love the info density and charm!)

I would just stick with the prescription that was given and not muddy the waters with anything else. RetinA is perfect for all of those concerns.
