Very cool, well done. If you guys are wondering, this tool is a car body metal finish file. I know this for a fact because I was a top metal finisher back in Adelaide in the Mitsubishi car factory. The file part itself is an older fashioned pattern the new once are slightly different. What we actually used in the factory, was a wooden version of this file which was lighter and a much easier to use. We had one flat one and one slightly bent.

Ich glaube, blau war nicht die Originalfarbe, das Markenzeichen war unter dem Anstrich. Sah eher verchromt oder vernickelt aus.
Hallo, vielleicht war die Werksfarbe was du sagst. Also habe ich es in dieser Farbe gekauft. Vielleicht ändern Sie die Farbe in Zukunft mit einer Google-Suche. LG
Aber wenn Sie es um 12:05 sehen, befindet sich das Logo über dem Blau
@@nmartisan Ich habe mal kurz gegoogelt und diese Gedore Karosseriefeilen sind nie farbig lackiert.
Aber es ist schließlich Geschmackssache, es sah halt einfach nach dem Abbeizen so aus, als wäre das Werkzeug verchromt oder vernickelt gewesen.
Solange es Dir gefällt, ist doch alles bestens.

@@nmartisan Or even an old slap file for auto body work or other surface filing in the middle of large surfaces intended to stay "flat". I've used similar things but not the same. The dreadnoughts I've used have had curved teeth. Very smooth cut. There are also half round variants with similar teeth in a file kit belonging to the late Don Marshall (blacksmith for Caslake's, Melbourne, Australia).
@@benjaminzedrine In German this is called (Karosseriefeile) maybe google didn't translate it correctly. The purpose of this tool is to work on bodywork. Greetings
@@nmartisan Yerp. Auto-body work. "slap file" here in Australia. I didn't pick up if the file itself had a makers mark. I've got a few old German files. "F.Dick", and the one with the Horse jumping through a ring.
