I am just absolutely blown away by the journey Jacob has gone through from when I started watching him to the present day. I don't know the guy but you know.... I'd buy you a couple of beers man. Cheers to your music career and whatever absolutely fun craziness you get up to on your TH-cam man, you deserve it.
ill be honest, the music videos didnt have the greatest acting, but i enjoy watching it every time because ive never seen anyone else make an entire music video for every single song in an album. aside from that, frozen in time is one of my favorite albums and thats not just because its alpharad
The album came out when I was going through the end of a relationship. Specifically, I was right on my Lights Off, realizing my love was lost, right before I saw my very own Find me in Your Dreams unfold before my eyes. On first listen… the album gave me dread. Because it knew better than I did what was coming. But every so often, I’d come back to it, and find myself living a different song. The nostalgia of Silver Lining. The deep despair of Monophobia. The imagination of Queen of Everything. The mistakes of Your Name. The catharsis of Deadbeat Boulevard. The regret of Waiting for your Call. And it was comforting like nothing else. The only metric I had that told me I was moving forward. The only way I knew that yesterday was not the same as today. And like Jacob says, it was deeply comforting to know I was not alone in this pain. This album kept me company through the worst of it. I unlocked an extra chapter in my life after that. I call it Bigger Ahead. After I spent my days Frozen in Time, I took the time and effort to grow as a person, and move forward. Thanks to that, I’m now, finally, ready for the next chapter in my life. And I owe a lot of it to this album. I love this album, and it’s my favorite album of all time (as well as my favorite music video), because of how deeply it resonated with me. Jacob, on the off-chance you ever read this… thank you for it.
It's great to see how much passion and effort he put into this. I hope this does great and gets tons of love and attention. Thank you for this great album!
Related to a lot of what was said in the interview, I have a narrative album out right now that I intend to eventually add a visual element to once I have the resources to make it happen, so all the talk of what led up to it hit close to home as well as some of the inspirations like Green Day (also going back further with bands like Genesis or The Who doing these big epic story/concept albums). It really does happen that way, just having a bunch of disparate ideas floating around but then seeing a bigger picture in them that leads to a greater artistic impact. Even with American Idiot, it started out with just that simple "Nobody likes you" melody. Seeing it all come together here just makes me wanna start pushing my own stuff even more so I can get all these ideas out of my head and put them out in the open (hopefully not too obnoxiously, don't wanna burn bridges either, lol). But yeah, everything came out great, musically and visually. Well done, Jacob, big accomplishment for sure. I've hit a few bumps in the road on my own journey recently, so this has definitely inspired me to keep pushing and I hope it inspires others as well.
I've been meaning to listen to this album for a while now and it's very cool art. I like how intimate the number of staff/actors was, yet the album still feels like a quality piece of audio-visual content that wasn't limited to one location.
“I just want then to take it as a Cool Price of art” well. U did that well enough to have me crying on the floor. It reminded me so much of my pen first heartbreak. Ty so much Jacob i listen to this shit Daily and have it as the best album ever rn. Ty
This was super inspiring, I'm glad you decided to share something so personal with the world. Like you said, I really related to the themes of your album. Everyone did a really awesome job working on this, and I'm super excited to see what you create next! I'm gonna listen to this album a lot in the car :)
I definitely felt the story going through and it is something I love about the album and how both the song itself and the video showed the story together
@Alpharad respect I love every song in the track and it is my current obsession so thank you. Keep making amazing music as I go back and listen to Scorpion Queen now.

One year ago, music was invented

I just smile. And this is very bittersweet. I’m proud of you for making through what you did and releasing this masterpiece of an album. 💙
