Today I'm sharing what I do to try and keep a clean and tidy home while working full time. This routine is totally manageable, practical and will save you tons of time! As a mom of 3, I have had to get creative in how to get everything done and I have developed certain habits and routines that are saving me 2 hours per day (14 hours EACH WEEK)! I hope this video gives you some ideas that you can implement today. #cleaning #tidyhome #workingmom #cleaningmotivation #cleaning Please subscribe to see more content like this, I'd love to see you around my channel 😊 www.youtube.com/@tarynmaria_?...
So I have 3 garbage cans. General waste, recycling and organic. 2 of those are overflowing every day. My dishwasher is the same size as yours and with 4 of us in the house, it is full every day. When the au pair is here, it has to be run twice / day. I didn't see any pots and pans in yours. Laundry... our machine is much smaller, but it is constantly running every day and we do loads overnight too.
Habit stacking is the only cleaning strategy that has worked for me. Like you suggested, I wipe whatever needs it (counters, appliances, etc.) while waiting for my coffee or tea to brew/steep. At some point in the day when I go to the bathroom, I do a cleaning task before leaving. It just becomes a natural part of your daily activities to tidy as you go about them.
The women are still overjoyed that fathers' salaries have been cut in half and mothers have to work full-time in coal mines to raise their children. Main thing for the woke women movement is that men receive starvation wages.
If I was your son I'd obey you to the max, You are the one that is in total control. Everyday, I'd come home from school and the 1 st thing I do, is give you my phone...don't want any distractions, then I do my homework, then all the chores for that day, which must be done to your satisfaction. Then do whatever you tell me to do with no back talk or arguing. On the weekends, I'd do what you want me to do, Before I have my "Free time"
I work 50 plus hours a week and do almost all the house cleaning. It was so helpful to hear these tips from someone else who actually has to do the same juggling act in order to make it all work and still be able to spend precious time with your kids. Thank you!

We have 3 kids too I just dont understand how two loads of laundry and taking our trash once a week… and dishes every second day, sounds like fiction to me 😂
I don’t get it either!! With all the food prep and cooking it means at least one dishwashing load a day for us. And what about all the towels and bedsheets to wash? I also believe a home needs to be completely cleaned once a week, not once a month, so this doesn’t work for me.
I am a fulltime working single mom with 4 kids. I do about 6-8 loads of laundry a week and runns the dishwasher every day (2 during summer break) and my three oldest take turns emptying the dishes. I always clean the kitchen before bed and always pick up in the hallway and livingroom at night. I also have some strategically placed laundry baskets where the kids (mostly my youngest tends to drop his socks and hoodie as soon as he gets home) so I placed a small, pretty basket next to the sofa so that he can just drop it there and not on the floor and on the sofa. It is a lot to be alone with 4 kids so thinking outside the box helps. ❤

Such helpful tips! I understand why you only put your dishwasher on every other day is because you only cook twice a week. We are a family of 6. I try to cook for two nights and then have 'Chooseday' night (choose your favourite leftover) Also, put a delay on your washing machine so that the cycle ends when you walk through the door. That way the clothes never smell and aren't creased.
Another tip for the laundry - you can put it on a timer so that the cycle starts and ends as soon as you're ready to hang it. So because I don't have a drier, I put the load on at night on a timer so it begins an hour or two before I wake up and finishes round the time I get up on the morning. Then the first thing I do when I get up is hang the clothes to dry. I will fold and put away later that evening after getting back from work. The kids put their own piles away before they get into bed. And I do this every weekday except for taking a break on Sunday. It has made a huge differnece!

Washing once a week? Empty bins once a week? Seriously there are 5 in the house and it's once a week? I have 5 in my house and I empty the bin at least daily and it's not a small bin lol
Yup, once a week! We recycle a lot of our materials and we're very careful with how much waste we are generating (we don't use many, if any, single use products).

Actually even if your machine is clean the most you should keep it in is 3 hours. I would just run it before work and put it in dryer before work too. Many dryers have fluff settings that will keep the clothes fluffed and reduce wrinkles.
@@peggyhawley8435I mean honestly! If I had to only run stuff when I was home nothing would get done. What about when you’re sleeping? You wouldn’t know if something was leaking anyway .
It's too hot over 110 degrees where I live. If I were to leave my wet clothes in washer until I come home at 9pm they would be smelly and probably semi dry and stiff.

Generally no - I am super careful not to get the floor too wet (the steamer is less wet than the mop), and I’ve been doing it for years. So far so good!
You could say the same in reverse if the dude is maintaining house and care repairs. Making the yard nice. Etc. A relationship is about teamwork not keeping tabs of who is getting more out of it. It isn't 50/50. It's 100/100. Both are trying their best to make life better for the other .
Most of the tips are good, but laundry? Are you saying you only do 2 loads a week? Just your sheets would be that much or more based on changing them weekly.
We try to only wash clothes when they have been worn all day and also towels can go for up to three showers (I know some people don't like to do that though).

Thank you so much!
Thank you for this video!!
You are so welcome!
Super helpful, thank you!!
You're so welcome!
Hello it’s not begging hopefully 🙏🏾 ur channel will grow. New subscriber
Thank you so much and welcome!!
I loved that, thanks :)
You are so welcome!
Actually even if your machine is clean the most you should keep it in is 3 hours. I would just run it before work and put it in dryer before work too. Many dryers have fluff settings that will keep the clothes fluffed and reduce wrinkles.
Thank you!
DON’T run your washer when no one is home! 🤦♀️
Why not?
Things can go wrong, you could come home to water all over the floor if you have a leak! I don't run anything when I'm not home!
Really unrealistic if you work shifts/night shifts…
@@peggyhawley8435I mean honestly! If I had to only run stuff when I was home nothing would get done. What about when you’re sleeping? You wouldn’t know if something was leaking anyway .
It's too hot over 110 degrees where I live. If I were to leave my wet clothes in washer until I come home at 9pm they would be smelly and probably semi dry and stiff.
Oh yeah - 110 is hot!!
On the weekends, I'd do what you want me to do, Before I have my "Free time"
I just Love your videos
Thank you so much! 😊
awesome tips thank you
You are so welcome!
@@tarynmaria_ Hey Taryn , I'm wondering if you received my email about a possible collaboration?
Great and realistic video +
Thank you!
I don't like rubbish in the house- so prefer to empty daily- 2nd day , which goes into the main bag/bin outside.
Thank you for sharing!
We have a 13 gallon trash can there’s six of us and I take out SEVERAL bags of trash a week.
!!!
Awsome video 🤩👍
Thank you so much!! 😊
This chick has money! I wish I had a house like this
i just have a washer/dryer combo that dries and washes.
❤❤
I thought that you aren't supposed to steam clean wood floors.
Generally no - I am super careful not to get the floor too wet (the steamer is less wet than the mop), and I’ve been doing it for years. So far so good!
I can't 😮😮no way.. Five people?
what does the guy in the house cleaning except you?
Unfortunately, my husband complains about leftovers, especially if it's more than once. I just try to keep weekday meals simple
Yeah some people don't like leftovers - in that case simple is a great way to go!
Or the husband could cook?! Why do you have to satisfy this request of „no leftovers“?
@@ninam5790 If only he'd bother to learn.
What does your husband and kids do in the house?
❤🎉❤
Thank you!
And what housework does Your husband do in the house? 😮 It looks like You do it all.
It only looks like I do it all because I made the video. He does his fair share for sure!
After dinner - clean the kitchen.
Can you believe how many men get all that labour for free, while their wife also financially contributes or even earns more.
You could say the same in reverse if the dude is maintaining house and care repairs. Making the yard nice. Etc. A relationship is about teamwork not keeping tabs of who is getting more out of it. It isn't 50/50. It's 100/100. Both are trying their best to make life better for the other .
You must not spend very much time at home! We empty our (large) garbage can every single day! 😅
We have a large garbage can and two recycling bins!
Most of the tips are good, but laundry? Are you saying you only do 2 loads a week? Just your sheets would be that much or more based on changing them weekly.
Yes twice a week! We do our sheets maybe twice per month so that would add an extra two loads a month!
I have to empty my bin every day 😳
You might need a bigger one! We also have a large recycling bin! :)
Just me and the partner and it’s unbearable because of how small everything is.
Ohhh small spaces can be so difficult sometimes!
2 loads per week? Family of 2 - easily a load each day. 😢
We try to only wash clothes when they have been worn all day and also towels can go for up to three showers (I know some people don't like to do that though).
This is so stressful. I actually feel bad for her. Is she married? Im horrified
Dont have pets. I love my dogs but the house gets dirty really quick by having dogs
I love dogs too (we watch them) but they are definitely a big source of mess and dirt! I don't know how!!
