Mike made all of his movies better than they were. Certainly has benefited from having outstanding co-stars in many of his films. But Teen Wolf is a good example of how his unique wit, timing and CHARISMA is often enough to turn a lackluster script or concept into a Hollywood success. And when given an outstanding story and a little Chris Lloyd u get a blockbuster.
This is one of my favorite guilty pleasures and MJF was probably my first celebrity crush. It wasn't as good as Back to the Future but I would always watch whenever it came on tv.
Thank you for making this! It's one of my favourite films of my childhood and I still watch it every year now. Very quotable lines, great soundtrack and a lovely, nostalgic sense of small town America in the 1980s and the rites of passage of a teenager.
You only missed one point. Michael J. Fox was not originally casted for Teen Wolf. No ill wills....Mike is a great actor. I was the 1st cast. But, they didn't think it would make any money at the box office, with me a no named actor. So, they went over the casting and recasted it. The 3 Mike's - Michael Landon-Michael Woolner- Michael J. Fox. I am the Unknown Teen Wolf.
These type of stories are rather heartbreaking to me. One of my best friends was originally given a part in BLADE RUNNER but after rewrites, the part was written out. It's hard to know you came so close in your career. Almost harder than knowing you never even came close. I personally once co-wrote a pilot for a television show that was looked at by Amazon. That's the closest I've came thus far in my life. Hope to come closer. Actually hope to one day, "get there." We'll see.

'Shooting for the Moon' by Amy Holland really pulls it all together and leaves with an overpowering ending.

Give me, a keg, of beer
No I.D. no beer can't you get that through your thick skull
Teen Wolf is a great movie.
The last film I saw at the cinema that had an intermission was Teen Wolf. I’ll always remember it for that reason. Very interesting video Jonathan.
Haha that was bare a hour an a half why would it need an intermission?! I could see if it was Scarface which was damn near 3 hours
I enjoyed and I was always a big fan of the actor who played his dad, from when he was the lovable Duffy on F-Troop.
Mike was the 2nd casted for Teenwolf. I was the 1st casted.
