Remember the Creek
I was there when the Creek was Liberated.
There was no celebrations, no sighs of relief, only silence. Many of us couldnt belief our eyes. Some of held back our tears. Together we moved out, with our new capes to prove we where there. My brothers and sisters now fight on other worlds, but we will NEVER forget the Creek and the scars it left on all of us.
The Automatons now have retaken their homeworld, Cyberstan.
And who where the first to join on that front? Thats right; we the veterans of the Creek.

I was a creeker too, never got a chance to complete a helldive there though highest difficulty I could convince my party to try was a 7
@@rabitwarior2 when my friends first got Helldivers 2 they wanted to go to the creek and I told not to until they got some levels under them, but they insisted on it.
So I started them on Medium and absolute chaos started. The panic that erupted in our discord was not only hilarious but rightfully deserved.
By the time we evac there may have been a single tree standing........lots of 380 and 120 were called down that day

Jonathan did do a writing of video for this where he specifically said he was going for a Sabaton feel to the song. Mission accomplished 😂
Nice one Dave 👍When Jonathan set out to write this second Helldivers song on his live stream he said he was intending to write it in Sabaton style - he succeeded! He's just done another live stream to write a third song, this time in the style of AC/DC. Both live streams were fun to watch.
I commented on your reaction to the first of these songs (which has now garnered over 1.2 million views already!) that you don't need to know anything about the game to appreciate the music Jonathan is producing for it and I stand by that comment. I love these two songs and the third one, when complete and released, is going to be another belter.

Hello this is skull captain HoundWison, I was the first deployment to the creek.. it has been 15 years since I was in the last galactic war. I went in to support my brothers and sisters in combat not knowing what was coming… I watched them die fighting, I watched them die for citizens to escape and go home just while they never did.. I lost my leg and arm on that democracy forsaken planet.
I swore I would return with army, I would return to pay back the blood they took. Cadet Andre Hamal, Major Mahamid hunaila, staff sergeant Halley Smith.. I brought you home for your family.. I steered my super destroyer to the creek with an army.. an army of pissed off super earths finest.. we filled the automatons sky’s with more ships then clouds. As we dived we screamed
“DEMOCRACY HAS RETURNED FOR YOU!!!!!!”
We fought like hell, we fought like demons.. I watched my fellow soldiers tear through their tanks.. annihilated their walkers.. their ships couldn’t stop the righteous anger of the helldivers.
Those bots took a bite.. we took one back, bigger than theirs. I was there when the creek was taken. I watched the last automaton die in a hellfire. I looked
Up to the sky.. brothers.. sisters.. we have did it.
Raise that flag high and let it wave in the air.
Show the galaxy that you may push us back. But we will not give up, for if we do.. those who rely on us will perish. So I make a call to action. While we have won.. don’t let your guard down. And don’t forget those who died, whether it’s the helldivers.. or the crew on our super destroyers.
