Pilot Pete, I absolutely loved this!! Love continuing to learn what is done to prepare and complete a flight. Thanks!! Safe travels, my friend!! Cheers!!
Current Instrument student at ATP in Ogden, Utah so content like this is an absolute gold mine! 👌🏻I've been binge watching all of your content the last couple days and it's awesome stuff! Thank you for sharing! In your next video it would be cool to learn more about how the auto pilot stuff works.
This is perfect. Please do more of this. Hopefully we get the return debrief because. I think it's pretty special with climb gradient and speed restrictions. Let me know how wrong am I. Thank for this Pilot Pete. Say hi to Pops.
Awesome Pete! Loved the entire debrief concept from Taxi to SID to STAR to Approach to Shutdown. This pilot felt like he was along for the ride. Keep’m coming! Offering you and Sonia a ride in my Baron at FRG. LMK.. Andy
Captain: very detailed and interesting. El Dorado is my hometown airport, so I know it perfectly well. Happy to know you had a chance to come. Next time ( if schedule allows it) stay for a day and visit the city. I feel comfortable with this new format you presented today. Make as many as you so consider necessary. My "like" today #79. Take care.
Thanks a lot Pete for a long awaited quality aviation content as your recent videos become a little too "vlogy" as you said. I think you could add to this format: 1. Some videos though I guess there are strict restrictions from your airline on what and when you can shoot. Maybe add some photos? Some visual content of some sort. 2. For me as a sim "pilot" would be interesting to know things such as take off speed, descend and climb speed, fuel consumption and so on. I'm sure there is a lot more technical data you can share. Please continue with a great work, big fan of yours!
that was good; yes i skipped some parts, but knowing how it goes makes me feel better about the work i do as a student, what the future looks like for expectations, and i did learn something new! last flight i went on, i tried to guess what arrival and approach and such they did lol
Hey Pete, you are the BEST thing on here. Love the details as a Pilot myself, I sincerely enjoy the PASSION and commitment. You go to great lengths to educate the public on what it takes to fly a 767. Love your humbleness and enthusiasm all the way. Hope FedEx make you a Captain very soon cause you definitely DESERVE it. Thanks for what you do we certainly APPRECIATE it all the way and thanks. Oh by the way how is your dad ?
AYYYY BEST comment I've gotten, thanks so much for your kind words and support! He is doing really well thanks for asking! I'll have to have him back on the channel soon!
This is so interesting. It's amazing how far technology has come. It must have been so different for pilots doing this in the 70's-80's time. Even longer than that. I guess just a lot more papers and charts focused rather than on computers? It seems like you have so much more real time info. on weather, runways, speeds, distance, etc. than pilots had back then. Very cool!
Loved it. I would like a light blog included, just the flight portion, like to and from the hotel getting on and off the plane. Just light blog not all the exercise shit and eating shit. Just the cut the fat version with the flight debrief.
This is great, you also could see if you can get permission to record cockpit view takeoff and landings, those are amazing to see too, i know some operators allow them some dont.
How many questions do you ask all the time when people are asking you about airplanes and other things about the airport and also with the travel experience, have you ever asked those questions before?
Dude, you are the man. Your positivity is infectious. Thanks for all the great aviation content.
thanks for the support!
Agreed
Love the debriefs! As a rookie they are helping me speak pilot more fluently by giving context to all the acronyms!!
I love the debriefs, this is what I want to do after retiring from the military and it’s nice to see the more technical side of things
Thanks for your service !
This was good. Thanks for sharing! For an aviation enthusiast it's great to hear your walkthrough.
Thanks for watching!

Maybe some airplane/ramp video to go along with the debrief?
those videos and visuals are all in my Every Sunday vlogs!
I enjoyed this video. Makes me wish I would’ve become a pilot, but the closest I ever came to that was Microsoft Flight Sim haha. Good job.
never too late!
great vid, watching from Intl Goc, I dispatch it all the time
ayy thanks for all you do!
I enjoy the debriefing and I am not in your industry, but it is interesting to me.
Keep the de brief, more detail. Maybe explain when briefing the approach plate go over each section your talking about and how your briefing. Etc.

This is great edification. I'd watch more.
Thanks for watching!

At the Airlines do you get to list the places you would like to be based out of in indoc?
Yep, you list your preferences, and you get awarded based on seniority
Nice job Pete! What’s the Crew rest module?
the bunks where the pilots sleep on long flights with an augmented crew. I give more details on this in my Sunday vids!
This is great, you also could see if you can get permission to record cockpit view takeoff and landings, those are amazing to see too, i know some operators allow them some dont.
not allowed below 10,000 feet. but check out my weekly sunday videos. all the good views there!
Yes
More more more yes yes yes if you can go into even more detail that would be amazing the more insight the better you’re the best!
Thanks for the positive feedback!
How many questions do you ask all the time when people are asking you about airplanes and other things about the airport and also with the travel experience, have you ever asked those questions before?
