IMO, maybe one of the worst episodes put out but not because it's bad, but because they were all pretty much agreeing with each other lmao. It's top tier content for sure, but this is proof that they should be having another series bringing people on and just talking about series or ideas in more depth (especially their takes on series being butchered or done right and Mark's insight on having dealing with the process), because this was mad entertaining.

As someone who's obsessed with anime power systems, Dre made me want to check of Tower of God, but I watched the anime and I didn't think it was that great... well, I thought 1st half was great but it felt less interesting in the 2nd half.

The part about Ussop not being as important to the crew as other members is part of his character, not saying he doesn't deserve better because he definitely does, but his issue with getting rid of the Merry was that he felt if they could ditch their ship so easily then they could ditch him too because he didn't feel useful. But that ties into Luffy's first time going gear 2nd where he says I want to be able to keep all of my friends even if they're not strong. Ussop does what he needs to do when he needs to do it, but I feel like it's been kind of made a point that Ussop's role in the crew isn't dependent on his strength.
and its definitely not, and Ussop knows that. Which is why that moment in Water 7 was to vital to his character development. Ussop knows his place amongst the crew, he knows what he's good at, and what he's bad at. He doesn't need to be strong physically to be a strong asset to the crew, everyone in the crew holds an important role whether people wanna acknowledge that or not 🤷♀

Nen on its own as a power system can literally explain every other anime power system. Kamehameha/getsuga? Emmisive type, Logia? Transmutation type, Haki? Enhancement type, and the list goes on. It's such an amazing power system

Yes bro! When I first watched HxH I thought NEN was so different from other Power systems and it was the most unique system I’ve seen in a anime. There’s so much you can do with it’s system and everyone can be so diverse and unique and OP asf. The ant scene was also symbolic of the old way in comparison to the new generation. You have to step on some ants to achieve a goal type thing. Gojo was showing you don't have to and there is always another way. That's why he was laughing hard af, he was listening to their conversation when the old heads was talking.
I love all the different meanings and portrayals of that one scene. During Hidden Inventory, Gojo couldn't have his limitless activated at all times, but when you go back to this scene, it could be showcasing that he now has it active at all times even when he's just chilling about. Also, the higher ups being squished like ants is my favourite of them all
The fact that they can do DreamCon and then have consistent good content this fast is crazy shout goes out to those boys.

Like Dre was saying, Reverse Cursed Technique is just the opposite of Cursed Technique. The example Gojo gives when he explains that it's like " multiplying two negatives equals a positive" can be understood easier by understanding that Cursed Energy is powered by "negative energy." So then what is Reversed Cursed Technique powered by? Positive Energy. Thats why ONE of the facets of using Reverse Cursed Technique is to self-heal or heal in general. But mainly Reverse Cursed Technique usual ends up being the opposite or the "Reverse" of your original Cursed Technique. Hence, "multiplying two negatives equals a positive." Gojo's Blue and Red have opposite effects and in nature are the opposite of each other. which is why they are two different techniques.

Intro to anime I'd say was Saint Seiya, and even though the animation is old, I love that show so much I don't think a remake would do it justice, it was that good for me.
An anime I'd like to see continued was Yu Yu Hakusho if for no other reason than real life circumstances led to the manga and anime getting wrapped up fast, but there was definitely more story to tell
The best New Gen anime out so far that has literally been a hit episode after episode with the best storyline and the best fight scenes + plot and everything else included, in the shortest amount of time is hands down, Hells Paradise

I’m sure someone covered this but to simplify reverse curse techniques. It’s basically the opposite of cursed energy. As said cursed energy is negatively fueled (Rage, destruction, stress, etc.) so when multiplied together you get the reverse and so it has the opposite effect healing instead of hurting, reversal red pushing instead of lapse blue pulling. So for instance if you had a technique to say shoot electricity from your body the reverse would be like say pulling the electricity from everything around you.
Jujutsu Kaisen might be peak shonen for sure, and it shows so much potential in the first season.
Jujutsu Kaisen takes the elements of shonen and almost perfects it. The power system makes sense. The action in the show is unpredictable, and Gojo is just him.

Lacks substance, dgaf MC, and power systems are really nothing special if the end result is just the same rock paper scissors fights again

Nen is so good because you can customise your ability to be the most overpowered thing ever but then it would have very specific restrictions or drawback effects (I.e kurapika’s ability only working on spiders and gon sacrificing his life span to automatically access his adult potential)
