I could never make up my mind whether I liked this track or not at the time but it definitely outstayed it's welcome that's for sure. It seemed to hang around the scene endlessly for years but this video is just hilarious. They're not exactly exciting that jumpered up crowd to get a sweat on are they? On the album cover she has her yellow wig & bright make up on for fun but here they look like they've honestly just got out of bed! No make up, matted hair & the dullest looking clothes? What were they thinking?....really not nice at all. The clubs I went to were much more fun & totally debauched. I've decided after seeing this that I don't like this song but your mix does give it a sprinkle of joy & extra sparkle.
I think it's a tv appearance rather than a club...not sure... but the punters are definitely not going wild. Glad you like my mix, I think it's much better than some of the other offerings Unidisc came up with for the 40th anniversary.
