I played this at an arcade recently. Very underrated game. The Prog Rock inspired score is awesome, the art style still looks really good, and despite being an arcade game, it's not unfairly difficult. It's actually kind of easy, but that only makes you want to play through the whole thing.
Refurbished a Warrior Blade cab a few years ago. Incredibly rare machine now. Unfortunately bulky and a bit prone to breakdowns like all multi screen games. Love that style Taito had going on in the early 90s; sprite art, palette choices, music. PS: *"𝕰𝖘 𝖌𝖎𝖇𝖙 𝖐𝖊𝖎𝖓𝖊𝖓 𝕬𝖚𝖘𝖜𝖊𝖌!"*
I wouldn't compare Nastar/Rastan 2 to Castle of Dragon, Castle of Dragon is just too damn mediocre. Buti tell you the soundtrack in Castle of Dragon..damn.
The screams remind me of Howard Dean's scream from YEARS AGO, and this tells me, that I'll never reallocate those brain cells for anything useful ever again.

重低音が心地いい多画面筐体はほんと好きだった

Awesome game! Brings back that real *_Conan_* feel from the first game of the series... Interesting how they speak a lot of German during the game...

当時外回りの合間によくゲーセンで遊んでた。映画の「コナン・ザ・グレート」ファンの私は直ぐに食いつきました。
バタ臭いが、筋肉の描写がカッコよく、箱型？のゲーム機で、サウンドが素晴らしくお金をいっぱい使っちまいました。

メイン戦闘曲「RISING」は本当に素晴らしい。筐体のおかげで他の音から遠ざけられ、没頭できたのも良かった。が、やはり2画面でやる必要はなかったかな…もっと出回ってほしかった。
This was one of Taito's "panoramic view" games just like Darius & The Ninja Warriors. A pity this wasn't made for home consoles.
ベルトフロア物は画面端に追い詰めた敵が、画面外に隠れて攻撃出来なくなる所がもどかしくて嫌いだけど、
これは横長画面のお陰でほとんどそうならないのが気持ち良い。

海外受けは本当にいい。D&Dよりは実際評価高い。ただ筐体含めて高すぎたのが原因で波及しきらず伝聞ばかりだったという事実がある。また格ゲーブームとモロ被りしてしまった。正直格ゲーが存在してなければ世の中もっと色々ゲームあったのではと思わせる程バブルだった。難易度はもともとエンタメ至高が強いからほどほどの難易度で心地よい(と言っても動画のプレイヤーは超人なのであまり参考にならない。実際プレイするとわかる。）

It's weird but, why every time you defeat an enemy, they turn into blood?
That was common for a lot of games back then. It's to make killing enemies feel more rewarding.
