Hello, it's me again the person who commissioned Devil's Rhapsody and Shining Nostalgia coming again with another commission from Brandon. The idea for this matchup came to me from playing though the Donkey Kong Country franchise and a number of Sonic games, back then I would've wanted a rematch of Luigi VS Tails, but the more I played DKC and Sonic the more I realized that Diddy functioned in a slightly similar fashion to Tails in terms of gameplay and theming. 1) Both characters essentially functioned as your back up partner in various instances in DKC's case as an extra hit before losing a life and in Tails' case as extra few hits done to an enemy or boss. 2) Both had instances of having to stand up for themselves and become the heroes of their respective battles in Diddy's case of having to save DK from Kaptain K. Rool and Tails having to confront Eggman in both Adventure 1 and 2 from dire situations. 3) They also function as a more technically capable and more versatile with their arsenal than the main character of their series with Diddy using jetpacks, peanut guns and various banana weapons for many purposes like traps and projectiles, whereas Tails also uses various gadgets and weapons to his advantage like vehicles, blasters, bombs and many more. For the music I had Brandon mix up two DKC2 tracks and one Adventure track (DKC2: K. Rool Returns, and Donkey Kong Rescued) and (SA: Believe in Myself). I used these ones specifically because I think it perfectly captures the Grand Adventure feeling of DKC2 and the rocking song of SA for a mix of something that feels retro in a 16-bit 90s style and late 90s style. I came up with the idea of the art of having the theme of two's like Tails' two tails being on Diddy's cap and since Diddy's big games was the second DKC of the trilogy and using their flight vehicles like the Barrel Jet and the Tornado 2 and their exhaust smoke forming a two being a fitting touch, all credit goes to @DK_DOart for bringing it to life I can's thank him enough for it. But yeah, thank you Brandon Yates and DK_DOart, I appreciate the hard work you guys put into this!
As much as I love this idea and the track... every time I get into an open debate with sonic fans it's agonizing... they just attack every other franchise but sonic... but yeah thanks for the track! 😀

Honestly, I feel like Tails would be amazed that the kongs were somehow smart and resourceful enough to make a jetpack out of a barrel and whatever other crap was on the island.

I really dig the art and the calming yet heroic vibe this song has. Styckerbush Symphony and Believe In Yoursf were must likely the bases for this great song.
Whoever commissioned this, thank you SO MUCH! This may not be my favorite matchup for Tails, but he’s my favorite Sonic character, so I’m good with ANY Brandon Yates OR Therewolf Media Commission featuring him!
This sounds so beautiful and wholesome ! It really captures the tropical parts of Donkey Kong Country and Energetic parts of Sonic , im honestly questioning who can win but im going up with Tails , the kid is a little mastermind
Honestly I think Most of the time match ups like game sonic vs game mario Are kinda always one sided I mean like yeah sonic does have a hyper Form But that runs Out And Mario Has Somthing similar like The White tanooki Suit which Makes him invincible for ever Yeah the only weak mario character Is probably Diddy so Yeah Tails Most likely would win
After the hit music Never Second Best, we are faced with its (not so much) sequel: True Number Two ! And it's quite a nice track too. It combines both the more exotic sides of DK with original percussions along more lighthearted melodies to fit Diddy Kong and more electronic and majestic-sounding motifs to fit Tails really well. And that mix is very interesting because it gives a very cool dynamic to the song where the two types of melodies fitting both characters follow one another at times to give the feeling that each character gets a time to shine in the fight before the neutral segments come on. Also noteworthy to mention the 8-bit segment before the start of the third act which is a really cool way to reference how both those characters originated from now retro consoles and games. A nice nod to their history which gives even more personality to the song than it has already. Overall this track is quite simple but extremely good. I don't have too much to say on it but it doesn't detract from its quality. It fits both characters perfectly with a generally lighthearted and majestic atmosphere that feels grand without being intimidating which once again is a great way to represent how both characters have had a huge impact on video game history which plays into fitting both characters. Really, it's just a cool and easy song to listen to. Amazing job as always with this.

One of my friends (Round 1 Fight) introduced me to this match & I have started to like it more. As for the track, I like it. It's giving me the vibe of the two of them just having fun & being great friends. And I love that. You have once again proven to be based Mr Yates
It's a spider monkey VS a fox. The outcome of this fight is obvious. Tails: + Smarter and more experienced + Greater versatility + Better aerial mobility + Actually retained his voice actress in the movie = Is a little buddy - Doesn't scale as high in speed - Too weak to compensate for speed - Less resilient, especially on his own - Inferior hand-to-hand combat skills - Invincibility forms counter Super/Hyper Tails - DeviantART Diddy Kong: + Scaling puts him above Tails' base form in AP and dura + Likely far faster in movement and reaction speed + Can outlast and outperform most of Tails' options + Arguably more accurate aim with his guns + Less predictable and cowardly = Is another little buddy - Dumb as a brick in comparison - A lesser variety of effective tools - Limited in flight capabilities - Got cucked by Illumination
I'm curious, but could things that require the player to die a lot be used on this scenario? If so, Super Kong could actually be used in this situation
@josebuendiamartinez9944 Diddy's only invincibility options are his Crystal Stars, which he only has 3 of, and each only lasts about 5 seconds. Strong Kong is a DK exclusive power up.

Definitely would say this is the best for both. It’s pretty thematic: - both of from the 16 bit era of the 90s video game industry on different rival company’s hardware, originating in momentum-based platform Video game series - Both are young anthropomorphic player 2’s to aspire to their more comparatively laid-back idol, which is the title character. - both would spent their first appearance fighting against approaching industrial forces taking hell-bent on taking over the land, led by a pudgy powerful leader (Eggman and K Rool) - both use a wide arsenal of weapons Including bombs, airplanes, vehicles and their main ones being guns also being commonly associated with Flying, which they used to help to main their idols through very hard platforming sections in game. - both go from being sidekicks to be their own independent hero, after being able to bring out courage to defeat the main villain of the series (DKC2 and SA1)
I'm interested in listening to this soon. Verdict wise, I'd say it's an easy one for Tails, personally. He should take stats on both forms, and has the overall larger and more varied arsenal.
@@Starwarsfan1253 I think the gap between Donkey and Diddy is bigger than the gap between Knuckles and Tails. The only advantage Diddy has in this matchup is physical streinght, Tails edges out in every other category.

After frontiers ending with tails saying things about going out on his own and with sonic starting to catch up again in terms of his games (well kinda and also pun lol) I'm really looking forward to the idea of a tails centric sonic game one day. And as for diddy.....donkey Kong's last game not counting ports.....came out in 2014, in otherwords NINE YEARS AGO. (Hoping 3d dk game made by Odyssey game Devs is true)
I've never considered diddy as a match up for tails but I've leant to always be open minded for MU's. Dek nailed the Art as usual loved the tornado inclusion 👌. Wasn't expecting it to be so up beat and playful but as usual if the track is good period then I'm down. Excellent work Brandon 👏. I don't know much about Diddy but 'm voting my boy tails purely down his intellect. I've been on a IDW binge recently which takes place in the video game universe and tails can be very resourceful and quick thinking. Combine that with his skills and fighting experience, I'm sure he can "outfox the kong" sorry had too 😅.
Nah I feel like Diddy can take it cause he has his explosive peanut guns, has technically been on more adventures since he's had to save donkey Kong a couple times and can survive be launched to the moon without no real damage to himself
Lets go, Mario Vs Sonic matchup (technically). I think Tails wins this one. Diddy should technically be stronger, hitting the moon and setting it back down, but you could say Tails should take almost everything else. If given the emeralds, Tails destroys.

Glad that Tails got a matchup, though I'm pretty surprised that it's against a Donkey Kong opponent. A nice surprise though since I'm used to seeing Tails matched up against Luigi.

This track is quite relaxing fitting for these two. In a fight between a Monkey and Genius Fox well I'd vote for the Fox. Add in Tail's gadgets, vehicles and Super form and well bye bye Monkey.
Well, if you scale him to Mario, then you would have to scale Tails to sonic. In which case Tails would still win. However, I think they shouldn’t scale to their Idols. It’s more interesting like that anyways. They would be in pretty similar tiers.

@@omegadebunkz I am not familiar with any Ultraguy, but I am familiar with the whole “all dreams being universes” argument people use to get Mario to that level. Now already, It is just assumed due to a single English statement referring to an individual dream as a universe and another that may be hints at another different dream being a universe, both from MP5. From what I have seen, that is the case. No, I would automatically say that’s invalid because you shouldn’t just assume all dreams are their own individual universes, but subcon should actually directly disprove it. Subcon is known as the land of dreams. It’s made out of many different dreams, yet Subcon is only an universe.This should definitively prove that some dreams are just not universal scaled. As in this example, it takes multiple to create a universe. I think this is how we should treat Pi’illo island’s collective dreamworlds too. I don’t think it should be any higher than universal. You may think that’s still the level of super sonic, but no. Super Sonic and base Sonic are more powerful than you think. As Base Sonic, Sonic defeated should scale to the base full power of the Chaos Emeralds. A good example would be him fighting Perfect Chaos, who absorbed all of the negative energy from the base power of the chaos emeralds. The chaos emeralds are directly comparable in power to the sol emeralds(basically, The chaos emerald equivalent in Blaze’s universe). In Sonic Rush, The sol emeralds were powerful enough to drag Blaze’s universe. This should make Base Sonic universal level, as he scales to it. So I think Mario and base Sonic are comparable in tiers, but base Sonic is infinitely faster. Mario could scale to characters and objects that can cross Solar Systems and Galaxies distances in a short time span, but so could base Sonic. However, Sonic was able to restore time through his own speed. You could say this makes him go about as fast as time. He’s also able to cross an infinite distance in Sonic and the secret rings. Both of these would make him infinite speed, or even inaccessible speed. Mario would pretty much not be able to get any “haxes” on sonic considering he’s pretty much a statue compared to him. As for Super Sonic, he was able to defeat Solaris. Solaris was a Super-Dimensional being who was going to destroy infinite timelines. This means that Super Sonic would at least downscale from Multiversal+. This would also make him immeasurable in speed because Solaris was beyond time itself. Not to mention that both Classic and Modern Super Sonic flew to the end of time itself (as said in the Encyclo-speed-ia) to fight the time eater before the final boss of sonic generations. Even if he has a time limit (which depends on the amount of rings he can hold (in which case he would last multiple weeks considering he could hold up enough rings to loop around the United States. Multiple times in Sonic 06), he doesn’t even need more than any seconds to speedblitz Mario. You go off of a tangent about Archie sonic afterwards. I don’t really care because I don’t scale Archie Sonic, but I don’t think he would lose to them. I don’t know for sure, and I don’t really care. I already spent too much energy on this. With that said, none of the statements you bring up supports Dreams being universes. It just mentions that Dreams could be larger than what it looks like. I also don’t get your argument about subcon. Maybe provide a little bit more context next time? To be honest, that’s not even the main thing I’m interested in. Going by your own scaling, you put Mario at universal - low Multiversal. I would agree with Mario being at Universal, but I disagree with low Multiversal. I can agree upon some dreams being classified as universes, but you can just assume all dreams are. Moving on, let’s agree upon universal Mario. On to the part where are you “debunk” base Sonic power scaling: Ian Flynn and Game itself only incorrectly established P. Chaos’s power level is planetary, however this doesn’t automatically debunk any of the universal scaling I provided. For starters, it’s not like a universal being wouldn’t have the attack potency to destroy a planet. If we were going by that logic, I could downplay Dreamy Bowser to be on the island level, due to how we only use the Dreamstone’s destructive power to destroy a few islands. It’s the same reason why Sonic is commonly listed at the speed of sound. You can go away faster. This is a non-argument. Hell, you can just argue P. Chaos highest destructive capability is only planetary. Hell, even make sense within the games never did because that's the only thing he was going to destroy. If you wanna argue that it doesn’t make sense for him to scale to the full power of the chaos emeralds, because that would be the scales to supersonic, remember I said “base” full power of the Chaos Emerald. That’s because Super Sonic is more powerful than all of the power of the 7 chaos emeralds only. This can be seen as super sonic the demonstrates feats that would be above the chaos emeralds. Like beating Solaris and the Egg Salamander (*the latter of which was powered by The great magnetic energy of both the Chaos Emeralds and the Sol Emeralds, which would definitively show it is more powerful than just the base power of the chaos emeralds*). You can think of it as a multiplier. Pulling random numbers out of my ass, think of base Sonic having a number of 800, Chaos having a number of 1, and the full power of all 7 chaos emeralds having a number of 800. Super Sonic would be 800 times 800, which would be 640000. Perfect Chaos would be a 1 times 800, which would be 800. you see how that works now? It isn’t just an inconsistency. There’s some actual logic behind this. I should also point out if you want to have both arguments, then you would indirectly say Super Sonic is only planetary, which contradicts where you last placed him. The negative energy of the chaos emeralds would have to be comparable to the positive energy at least, considering the counterpart energy forces. It’s kinda like Newton’s third law of physics. You could say that the positive energy is effective against the negative energy in a similar way that Pokémon types are effective against each other. That’s what would make sense narratively. The difference between base Modern Sonic beating Perfect Chaos and Classic Knuckles beating Super Mecha Sonic is that Classic Knuckles didn’t even beat Super Mecha Sonic. Knuckles had to wait and strike Mecha Sonic at points where he wasn’t in super mode. That was the point of the Bossfight. Hell, that wasn’t even the chaos emeralds. This is called a false equivalency. Base Sonic beating ultimate Emerld would be multi-solar system level due to absorbing the final egg blaster’s power. The reason why they would get above their level, despite not having any direct feats or statements, is the same reason why Dreamy Bowser would get above Island level. I’m surprised you don’t get that. On to the part where you “debunk” Base Sonic’s Speed: To my knowledge, Tails never said that restoring time itself is only FTL. I’m pretty confident you just made that up. While base Sonic didn’t repair all of the time in the universe, the ability to do that itself would be infinite to inaccessible speed. In the Encyclo-Speed-ia, directly states that the 2 SuperSonics flew to the end of time and did not create a portal to the end of time. The reason why they were able to communicate was because they were special communicators. They weren’t normal communicators. Super Dimensional would be Multiversal+ or 5D. I’m not familiar with any manuals that says Solaris was still bound to Sonic’s dimension even in his final form. You’re forgetting the fact that it was directly stated that he was going to destroy all timelines. Going by tails tube, the timelines would mean other universes. Timelines aren't referring to the past, present, and future. Even if you want to believe it was going to destroy the timelines one by one, the super dimensional statement would imply otherwise. I don’t know why you bring up marvel scaling. I never said anything about marvel. You don’t do a good job of what you say “statements proving an infinite universe” in Mario. It seems that you don’t really provide any context of what you’re actually talking about or what the statements are. I was talking about Mario Kun and Xeno Goku. I do think Archie sonic would lose to DC and Marvel heralds. Although I don’t really scale Archie.
Diddy shouldn’t scale to Donkey Kong, let alone Mario. With that said, I don’t think Tails should scale to Sonic either. I think you should rely on alternative scalings and direct feats for them. Tails FTW.

For who wins this fight, it could honestly go either way, Diddy is obviously the stronger and more durable one of the two, Tails is faster and smarter. Both of them are around moon level and shouldn’t scale to characters like DK, Sonic, and Mario who casually destroy universes, but let’s put it at this, in BASE forms with no planes, peanut pop guns, or anything else Tails is getting WASHED, but with their inventions, unless Diddy has a way to take Tails out of the tornado Tails wins

That death battle hasn't aged well and downplayed both of them but given the Mario vs sonic rematch it's fair to say Luigi could win. He has a durability, as in the RPGs his durability stat is higher than Marios meaning he scales up from the stadium explosion, strength as he can lift the world 7 as well which db calculated to be 60 million tons, and experience advantage as he is older and in Mario and Luigi partners in time he teamed up with his INFANT self to fight an alien invasion so he's been fighting since he was a baby and while tails is faster smarter and more mobile with a pretty good arsenal Luigi can at least keep up with tails in those categories since Luigi not only scaled to Mario in reaction speed but also is generally a little faster than Mario while tails is a bit slower than sonic and Luigi's floatyness and high jump can allow him to even temporarily keep up with tail's mobility. Luigi's electrokinesis, hammer, purokinesis, and poltegeist 5000 can allow him to keep up with a lot of tails arsenal and Luigi's experience balanced out tail's intelligence. Not saying tails couldn't or wouldn't win but it's much closer than that db made it out to be.

Eh, might as well make a script for this… Tails would quickly chase after him, with diddy noticing tails due to the motor like noises, diddy would punch tails, using a combo attack to send him in the air, tails would regain himself and hover in the air, diddy would launch up using the trees and tails responds by grabbing him, and slamming him into the ground, diddy would drop the chaos emerald, both would rush towards it but tails would be able to get it due to being faster, diddy would get mad and pull out his peanut gun, tails would be amazed as he wonders how he made it Tails: woah… how did you- *diddy would shoot 2 peanuts at him* and tails pulls out his arm cannon to counter it, diddy realizes that the arm cannon can go through the peanuts and electrocute him so he takes to the trees hoping that tails will be too slow to hit him and while he has the speed advantage… he didn’t account for diddy using the trees to sneak up behind him, he would jump on his back, snatching the chaos emerald and kicking it away from him tails would use his tail swipe, knocking the emerald away from him once more and takes to the skies Tails: sorry little fella, but I can’t let you have this Diddy would use his jetpack to follow tails in the sky, being able to keep up with him, tails would pull out his grapple rings from tails sky patrol, and attack diddy with it, diddy would dodge it like his life depended on it and then punched tails in the face, making him drop it in the jungle diddy would grab tails, and throw him onto the beach, tails would spindash diddy as soon as he lands, knocking him into a tree, he would use his peanut gun blasting tails *insert very heavy calculations showing while tails dodges it* tails would use his arm cannon to blast one of the parts off his jetpack, launching it to diddy kong, he would quickly throw it in fear, knowing it could explode and it did tails would run up to him and cut his peanut gun in half, diddy would get scared thinking that tails was about to finish the job, but he was just looking at the chaos emerald Tails: it’s the last one! Now I just gotta get this to sonic! Tails would hop in his plane, ready to leave the island, he would start it up as diddy followed suit in his own plane from diddy kong racing, he would catch up to tails in his plane, bumping his plane into tails’ Tails: listen, I respect that you won’t give up on this chaos emerald but it doesn’t belong to you… diddy would find another peanut gun inside his plane, and shoot it at the tornado, damaging it Tails: ok that’s it! *tails would release fire on his plane, dismantling it and making it combust into flames* Diddy would quickly jump onto the tornado, and quickly drink the invincibility potion and break his plane with one blow, the duo would fall back down onto the island diddy, realizing his jetpack is destroyed, decides to call a truce with tails until they land, the duo would fly onto the island, as the tornado falls into the ocean Tails: phew… that was- The truce was now over as diddy kicked him in the face, tails would use a hammer from tails’ adventure, and it shattered in pieces, tails (with no other choice) uses the chaos emeralds to go super tails, evening the odds the duo would fight using hand to hand combat as they zoom across the island, tails would gather flickeys to hold him off until he thinks of a plan, the flickys are able to hold diddy off due to the sheer fact that his invincibility is starting to wear off, shown by his brown fur flickering on and off, tails would get an idea he would quickly zoom towards diddy, grabbing him and throwing him in the air as the flickys would return back to normal, he knew his super form was about to wear off as well, he would spindash into the air and a final showdown would commence, just as diddys invincibility was about to wear off, tails uses a tail swipe to knock him out, he would quickly tie him up in the jungle, and would place bombs and dummy rings all around him, as soon as diddy wakes up… BOOM! The spot that he was in bursts into flames Tails: sonic is gonna have a lot of questions when I get back… (the chaos emeralds scattered across the world again) *KO*
As happy as I am to see Diddy here with an amazing track I think it's pretty easy for Tails. Diddy does have his own moon feat and is great with 2x4 technology, but Tails keeps up with Sonic and makes planes, tanks, mechs etc out of stuff a bit stronger than logs and peanuts.
I think I could be Closer than expected. I mean, yes Tails have a super form, but Super Kong would probably outlast it. And honestly, despite its size is quite resistent. Speed and arsenal are in favour of Tails no matter what.

@@LaymoSupraymowell diddy was able to headbut the same moon that dk punched and knocked it down which if i remember correctly it was over 3 megatons of force or whatnot and didn’t appear to have any brain damage or anything so not only does it mean his jetpack can propel him with that much force but it also doubles as a durability feat and that’s not considering the explosion that knocked him up that high to begin with. another thing is diddy is faster than dk who can punch so fast it ignites the air. as for tails not only can he consistently keep up with sonic so he can scale to at least speed and the force behind his attacks are likely similar as well.
I grew up with a Sega before a Nintendo, so I think I may have placed myself where I stand. I’ll see how this goes though, if these two do go toe to toe in a official death battle
Very cool matchup with an even better track! Rooting Diddy, idk who wins. Even if Super Tails has been made non canon, he should still be smarter and have an advantage in arsenal. Meanwhile, Diddy is way tougher with his own moon feat but needed to be slammed into the moon with his Jetpack, so his strength may not scale. Speed and power are equal from what I've seen.

The only thing Tails has going for him is speed and intelligence. Canon Tails doesnt have much for feats outside of his mech in SA2, and he doesnt have his own super form (canonically) unless he borrows power from super sonic, which wouldn't be allowed in a death battle. Diddy canonically defeated (with help from Trixie) King K Rool in DKC 2, the same King K Rool that can fight on relatively equal grounds with Donkey Kong, the same Kong that cracked the moon in two. All Diddy has to do is catch Tails once, and Tails is dead. Titan Tails one-shots Diddy though.
This heavily depends on the canon. If the Archie Comics are used _at all_ then Diddy gets washed, _even without taking Tails' super forms into account (Titan Tails is non-standard, but even Turbo Tails is overkill),_ given Archie Tails does, at least to some degree, scale to Archie Sonic, given how he's fought against multiple characters on the blue blur's level, including Sonic himself, and held his own. The very same Archie Sonic who can survive a black hole imploding in his face and just straight-up ignore time stops with his speed.

Not to rag on the commissioner or anything, but this is an absolute mismatch. Post-Adventure and onward, Tails consistently scales to Sonic and co. who are Low Multiversal (especially after and during Sonic 06, where all of them little stood outside of time itself with no issue whilst everyone else ceased to exist). Not to mention Tails' tech, which easily outweighs and overpowers Diddy Kong's arsenal. Physical strength becomes obsolete against a character as fast as Tails, who can keep up with Sonic at full speed, and Tails could also take a lot more punishment than Diddy can. And hell, even if Diddy could put the hurt on Tails, he could always quickly heal up. There's not a single scenario where Diddy Kong gets even close to beating Tails. It's still a fun matchup to envision, though.
Base Sonic at best is Star level and MFTL+. Diddy scales to the Mario crew all of which are Uni+ and MFTL+ the Uni feat you're talking about doesn't fucking scale to Durability or AP. Hell if you want to have a better example of this. Batman is Outerversal at base since he's been in timeless voids before. Especially during the Arc where Superman fought the World Forger. And the speed gap between Mario and Sonic is practically non existent if anyone worth their while even looked into Mario. Both are MFTL+. With Base Mario tiers having faster reaction timing than Base Sonic tiers. While Base Sonic tiers are faster at travel.
If this happens…. Yeah Diddy is not winning, his gadgets are made of wood while Tails has metal and steel gadgets, more variety of an arsenal, he’s MUCH faster since he can keep up with Sonic, His tails can break through metal, and so much more. It’s a stomp in Tails’s favor
Brute force and resistance goes to Diddy, not only he can put up a fight against K.Rool (which somehow kidnapped Donkey, you know, the one that punched the moon out of orbit), but he also resisted an impact on the moon with enough force to make that same effect of moving the moon
Diddy also has temporary invincibility with the Crystal Stars, which he can hold 3 of at once. Meanwhile, Super Tails was made non canon in some Sega interview.
Tails has an IQ of 300, that makes him smarter than Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking combined. And he's fast enough to keep up with Sonic's casual running speed, which is, you know, faster than sound. And his opponent... is a monkey in a red hat. Nope, this would be a massacre.

Yeah but he is fast enough to dodge it. Plus, he probably could destroy it before diddy could actually do anything and tails could hit him with gadgets or Hax. And since death battle includes super and hyper forms, that means that the super flickys would also be in the fight, which would mean more things that can do heavy damage to diddy.

And even then, he could just stop time or use his shields to block the peanuts. If we include hyper forms, then tails also gets flickys that are equal to him in speed and can summon clones with the power of the chaos emeralds. He could just hide in a shield and summon others to do his work, or stop time and obliterate diddy.

Diddy’s gadgets aren’t even that durable as they are made entirely wood, besides his guitar and orange bombs, which would still be too weak to survive an attack from tails. Tails also has the tornado, which can catch up sonic and is durable enough to survive attacks from eggman’s robot, which can damage sonic who survived attacks from chaos who sunk and destroyed an entire city.

Even if you want to say, he doesn’t scales to Sonic (which I would agree with), that would mean Diddy totally doesn’t scale to Donkey Kong and definitely not the normal Mario crew. If we go without scaling, Both Tails and Diddy should be country to large planetary, however Tails is smarter and Faster than Diddy with more versatility. If we go with downscaling/scaling, both downscale/scale from Universal (base Sonic and Donkey Kong/Mario) however Tails would infinitely outspeed him, as Sonic can move through dimensional barriers, restore time through his speed and move around an infinite distance.

Tails releases a giant beam of energy at Diddy. Diddy’s hammer clashes with Tails’ energy beam. The aura of the clash destroys most things around them. Diddy’s jetpack overloads and he powers through the blast and hits Tails so hard the chaos emeralds get knocked out of him and Tails returns to base. I kinda disagree. Seeing as tails is way faster and has Hax that diddy can’t counter like timestop and has attacks that should be able to kill him. Plus, his invincibility should be enough to kill diddy, and, if we include hyper tails, the flickys would be quite the hassle for diddy to deal with, as his gadgets aren’t very durable and tails and the flickys are fast enough and strong enough to destroy them. Including things like the chaos emerald abilities from sonic superstars, then tails has way too many gadgets and Hax for diddy to deal with.

Hello, it's me again the person who commissioned Devil's Rhapsody and Shining Nostalgia coming again with another commission from Brandon.
The idea for this matchup came to me from playing though the Donkey Kong Country franchise and a number of Sonic games, back then I would've wanted a rematch of Luigi VS Tails, but the more I played DKC and Sonic the more I realized that Diddy functioned in a slightly similar fashion to Tails in terms of gameplay and theming.
1) Both characters essentially functioned as your back up partner in various instances in DKC's case as an extra hit before losing a life and in Tails' case as extra few hits done to an enemy or boss.
2) Both had instances of having to stand up for themselves and become the heroes of their respective battles in Diddy's case of having to save DK from Kaptain K. Rool and Tails having to confront Eggman in both Adventure 1 and 2 from dire situations.
3) They also function as a more technically capable and more versatile with their arsenal than the main character of their series with Diddy using jetpacks, peanut guns and various banana weapons for many purposes like traps and projectiles, whereas Tails also uses various gadgets and weapons to his advantage like vehicles, blasters, bombs and many more.
For the music I had Brandon mix up two DKC2 tracks and one Adventure track (DKC2: K. Rool Returns, and Donkey Kong Rescued) and (SA: Believe in Myself). I used these ones specifically because I think it perfectly captures the Grand Adventure feeling of DKC2 and the rocking song of SA for a mix of something that feels retro in a 16-bit 90s style and late 90s style.
I came up with the idea of the art of having the theme of two's like Tails' two tails being on Diddy's cap and since Diddy's big games was the second DKC of the trilogy and using their flight vehicles like the Barrel Jet and the Tornado 2 and their exhaust smoke forming a two being a fitting touch, all credit goes to @DK_DOart for bringing it to life I can's thank him enough for it.
But yeah, thank you Brandon Yates and DK_DOart, I appreciate the hard work you guys put into this!
Oh and the name is a stealth pun with TNT as in the TNT barrels of DKC.
As much as I love this idea and the track... every time I get into an open debate with sonic fans it's agonizing... they just attack every other franchise but sonic... but yeah thanks for the track! 😀

After the hit music Never Second Best, we are faced with its (not so much) sequel: True Number Two !
And it's quite a nice track too. It combines both the more exotic sides of DK with original percussions along more lighthearted melodies to fit Diddy Kong and more electronic and majestic-sounding motifs to fit Tails really well. And that mix is very interesting because it gives a very cool dynamic to the song where the two types of melodies fitting both characters follow one another at times to give the feeling that each character gets a time to shine in the fight before the neutral segments come on.
Also noteworthy to mention the 8-bit segment before the start of the third act which is a really cool way to reference how both those characters originated from now retro consoles and games. A nice nod to their history which gives even more personality to the song than it has already.
Overall this track is quite simple but extremely good. I don't have too much to say on it but it doesn't detract from its quality. It fits both characters perfectly with a generally lighthearted and majestic atmosphere that feels grand without being intimidating which once again is a great way to represent how both characters have had a huge impact on video game history which plays into fitting both characters. Really, it's just a cool and easy song to listen to. Amazing job as always with this.

Definitely would say this is the best for both. It’s pretty thematic:

I've been on a IDW binge recently which takes place in the video game universe and tails can be very resourceful and quick thinking. Lets go, Mario Vs Sonic matchup (technically). I think Tails wins this one. Diddy should technically be stronger, hitting the moon and setting it back down, but you could say Tails should take almost everything else. If given the emeralds, Tails destroys.
If you give Diddy Kong Mario scaling (Which is something Death Battle would do), Diddy would win.

This track is quite relaxing fitting for these two. In a fight between a Monkey and Genius Fox well I'd vote for the Fox. Add in Tail's gadgets, vehicles and Super form and well bye bye Monkey.

Now already, It is just assumed due to a single English statement referring to an individual dream as a universe and another that may be hints at another different dream being a universe, both from MP5. From what I have seen, that is the case. No, I would automatically say that’s invalid because you shouldn’t just assume all dreams are their own individual universes, but subcon should actually directly disprove it. Subcon is known as the land of dreams. It’s made out of many different dreams, yet Subcon is only an universe.This should definitively prove that some dreams are just not universal scaled. As in this example, it takes multiple to create a universe. I think this is how we should treat Pi’illo island’s collective dreamworlds too. I don’t think it should be any higher than universal. You may think that’s still the level of super sonic, but no. Super Sonic and base Sonic are more powerful than you think. As Base Sonic, Sonic defeated should scale to the base full power of the Chaos Emeralds. A good example would be him fighting Perfect Chaos, who absorbed all of the negative energy from the base power of the chaos emeralds. The chaos emeralds are directly comparable in power to the sol emeralds(basically, The chaos emerald equivalent in Blaze’s universe). In Sonic Rush, The sol emeralds were powerful enough to drag Blaze’s universe. This should make Base Sonic universal level, as he scales to it. So I think Mario and base Sonic are comparable in tiers, but base Sonic is infinitely faster. Mario could scale to characters and objects that can cross Solar Systems and Galaxies distances in a short time span, but so could base Sonic. However, Sonic was able to restore time through his own speed. You could say this makes him go about as fast as time. He’s also able to cross an infinite distance in Sonic and the secret rings. Both of these would make him infinite speed, or even inaccessible speed. Mario would pretty much not be able to get any “haxes” on sonic considering he’s pretty much a statue compared to him.
As for Super Sonic, he was able to defeat Solaris. Solaris was a Super-Dimensional being who was going to destroy infinite timelines. This means that Super Sonic would at least downscale from Multiversal+. This would also make him immeasurable in speed because Solaris was beyond time itself. Not to mention that both Classic and Modern Super Sonic flew to the end of time itself (as said in the Encyclo-speed-ia) to fight the time eater before the final boss of sonic generations. Even if he has a time limit (which depends on the amount of rings he can hold (in which case he would last multiple weeks considering he could hold up enough rings to loop around the United States. Multiple times in Sonic 06), he doesn’t even need more than any seconds to speedblitz Mario.
You go off of a tangent about Archie sonic afterwards. I don’t really care because I don’t scale Archie Sonic, but I don’t think he would lose to them. I don’t know for sure, and I don’t really care. I already spent too much energy on this.

Maybe provide a little bit more context next time? To be honest, that’s not even the main thing I’m interested in. Going by your own scaling, you put Mario at universal - low Multiversal. I would agree with Mario being at Universal, but I disagree with low Multiversal. I can agree upon some dreams being classified as universes, but you can just assume all dreams are. Moving on, let’s agree upon universal Mario.
On to the part where are you “debunk” base Sonic power scaling:
Ian Flynn and Game itself only incorrectly established P. Chaos’s power level is planetary, however this doesn’t automatically debunk any of the universal scaling I provided. For starters, it’s not like a universal being wouldn’t have the attack potency to destroy a planet. If we were going by that logic, I could downplay Dreamy Bowser to be on the island level, due to how we only use the Dreamstone’s destructive power to destroy a few islands. It’s the same reason why Sonic is commonly listed at the speed of sound. You can go away faster. This is a non-argument. Hell, you can just argue P. Chaos highest destructive capability is only planetary. Hell, even make sense within the games never did because that's the only thing he was going to destroy. If you wanna argue that it doesn’t make sense for him to scale to the full power of the chaos emeralds, because that would be the scales to supersonic, remember I said “base” full power of the Chaos Emerald. That’s because Super Sonic is more powerful than all of the power of the 7 chaos emeralds only. This can be seen as super sonic the demonstrates feats that would be above the chaos emeralds. Like beating Solaris and the Egg Salamander (*the latter of which was powered by The great magnetic energy of both the Chaos Emeralds and the Sol Emeralds, which would definitively show it is more powerful than just the base power of the chaos emeralds*). You can think of it as a multiplier. Pulling random numbers out of my ass, think of base Sonic having a number of 800, Chaos having a number of 1, and the full power of all 7 chaos emeralds having a number of 800. Super Sonic would be 800 times 800, which would be 640000. Perfect Chaos would be a 1 times 800, which would be 800. you see how that works now? It isn’t just an inconsistency. There’s some actual logic behind this. I should also point out if you want to have both arguments, then you would indirectly say Super Sonic is only planetary, which contradicts where you last placed him. The negative energy of the chaos emeralds would have to be comparable to the positive energy at least, considering the counterpart energy forces. It’s kinda like Newton’s third law of physics. You could say that the positive energy is effective against the negative energy in a similar way that Pokémon types are effective against each other. That’s what would make sense narratively. The difference between base Modern Sonic beating Perfect Chaos and Classic Knuckles beating Super Mecha Sonic is that Classic Knuckles didn’t even beat Super Mecha Sonic. Knuckles had to wait and strike Mecha Sonic at points where he wasn’t in super mode. That was the point of the Bossfight. Hell, that wasn’t even the chaos emeralds. This is called a false equivalency.
Base Sonic beating ultimate Emerld would be multi-solar system level due to absorbing the final egg blaster’s power. The reason why they would get above their level, despite not having any direct feats or statements, is the same reason why Dreamy Bowser would get above Island level. I’m surprised you don’t get that.
On to the part where you “debunk” Base Sonic’s Speed:
To my knowledge, Tails never said that restoring time itself is only FTL. I’m pretty confident you just made that up. While base Sonic didn’t repair all of the time in the universe, the ability to do that itself would be infinite to inaccessible speed. That doesn’t discredit anything I was talking about. My argumentation didn’t rely on how he fixed all of time in the universe(s). You didn’t give me a reason why restoring time would be only FTL. It wouldn’t be a hax because it’s directly said he does this with his speed. The speed’s kinetic energy is what’s allowing them to be unfrozen through the time. In the Encyclo-Speed-ia, directly states that the 2 SuperSonics flew to the end of time and did not create a portal to the end of time. While you could say Time Eater took the portal, both super sonics did not.I don’t see what bringing up the post credit scenes with the 2 Eggmen stuck in the void has to do with my or your argument. Are you saying it debunks my argument because they were moving in a timeless void? That wasn’t my argument in the first place. Are you saying since Sonic didn’t fix all of space, he wouldn’t be infinite speed? That wasn’t my argument either. Moving from generations to Secret Rings, Sonic traveling the phone wasn’t my argument for infinite/inaccessible speed. You seem confused on what I’m referring to. The reason why they were able to communicate was because they were special communicators. They weren’t normal communicators.

You’re forgetting the fact that it was directly stated that he was going to destroy all timelines. Going by tails tube, the timelines would mean other universes. Timelines aren't referring to the past, present, and future. Even if you want to believe it was going to destroy the timelines one by one, the super dimensional statement would imply otherwise.
I don’t know why you bring up marvel scaling. I never said anything about marvel. You don’t do a good job of what you say “statements proving an infinite universe” in Mario. It seems that you don’t really provide any context of what you’re actually talking about or what the statements are. I was talking about Mario Kun and Xeno Goku. I do think Archie sonic would lose to DC and Marvel heralds. Although I don’t really scale Archie.

That death battle hasn't aged well and downplayed both of them but given the Mario vs sonic rematch it's fair to say Luigi could win. He has a durability, as in the RPGs his durability stat is higher than Marios meaning he scales up from the stadium explosion, strength as he can lift the world 7 as well which db calculated to be 60 million tons, and experience advantage as he is older and in Mario and Luigi partners in time he teamed up with his INFANT self to fight an alien invasion so he's been fighting since he was a baby and while tails is faster smarter and more mobile with a pretty good arsenal Luigi can at least keep up with tails in those categories since Luigi not only scaled to Mario in reaction speed but also is generally a little faster than Mario while tails is a bit slower than sonic and Luigi's floatyness and high jump can allow him to even temporarily keep up with tail's mobility. Luigi's electrokinesis, hammer, purokinesis, and poltegeist 5000 can allow him to keep up with a lot of tails arsenal and Luigi's experience balanced out tail's intelligence. Not saying tails couldn't or wouldn't win but it's much closer than that db made it out to be.

Tails would quickly chase after him, with diddy noticing tails due to the motor like noises, diddy would punch tails, using a combo attack to send him in the air, tails would regain himself and hover in the air, diddy would launch up using the trees and tails responds by grabbing him, and slamming him into the ground, diddy would drop the chaos emerald, both would rush towards it but tails would be able to get it due to being faster, diddy would get mad and pull out his peanut gun, tails would be amazed as he wonders how he made it
Tails: woah… how did you-
*diddy would shoot 2 peanuts at him* and tails pulls out his arm cannon to counter it, diddy realizes that the arm cannon can go through the peanuts and electrocute him so he takes to the trees hoping that tails will be too slow to hit him and while he has the speed advantage… he didn’t account for diddy using the trees to sneak up behind him, he would jump on his back, snatching the chaos emerald and kicking it away from him tails would use his tail swipe, knocking the emerald away from him once more and takes to the skies
Tails: sorry little fella, but I can’t let you have this
Diddy would use his jetpack to follow tails in the sky, being able to keep up with him, tails would pull out his grapple rings from tails sky patrol, and attack diddy with it, diddy would dodge it like his life depended on it and then punched tails in the face, making him drop it in the jungle diddy would grab tails, and throw him onto the beach, tails would spindash diddy as soon as he lands, knocking him into a tree, he would use his peanut gun blasting tails *insert very heavy calculations showing while tails dodges it* tails would use his arm cannon to blast one of the parts off his jetpack, launching it to diddy kong, he would quickly throw it in fear, knowing it could explode and it did tails would run up to him and cut his peanut gun in half, diddy would get scared thinking that tails was about to finish the job, but he was just looking at the chaos emerald
Tails: it’s the last one! Now I just gotta get this to sonic!
Tails would hop in his plane, ready to leave the island, he would start it up as diddy followed suit in his own plane from diddy kong racing, he would catch up to tails in his plane, bumping his plane into tails’
Tails: listen, I respect that you won’t give up on this chaos emerald but it doesn’t belong to you… diddy would find another peanut gun inside his plane, and shoot it at the tornado, damaging it
Tails: ok that’s it!
*tails would release fire on his plane, dismantling it and making it combust into flames*
Diddy would quickly jump onto the tornado, and quickly drink the invincibility potion and break his plane with one blow, the duo would fall back down onto the island diddy, realizing his jetpack is destroyed, decides to call a truce with tails until they land, the duo would fly onto the island, as the tornado falls into the ocean
Tails: phew… that was-
The truce was now over as diddy kicked him in the face, tails would use a hammer from tails’ adventure, and it shattered in pieces, tails (with no other choice) uses the chaos emeralds to go super tails, evening the odds the duo would fight using hand to hand combat as they zoom across the island, tails would gather flickeys to hold him off until he thinks of a plan, the flickys are able to hold diddy off due to the sheer fact that his invincibility is starting to wear off, shown by his brown fur flickering on and off, tails would get an idea he would quickly zoom towards diddy, grabbing him and throwing him in the air as the flickys would return back to normal, he knew his super form was about to wear off as well, he would spindash into the air and a final showdown would commence, just as diddys invincibility was about to wear off, tails uses a tail swipe to knock him out, he would quickly tie him up in the jungle, and would place bombs and dummy rings all around him, as soon as diddy wakes up… BOOM! The spot that he was in bursts into flames
Tails: sonic is gonna have a lot of questions when I get back… (the chaos emeralds scattered across the world again)

As happy as I am to see Diddy here with an amazing track I think it's pretty easy for Tails. Diddy does have his own moon feat and is great with 2x4 technology, but Tails keeps up with Sonic and makes planes, tanks, mechs etc out of stuff a bit stronger than logs and peanuts.
Diddy Kong's peanuts sink ships so he has a pretty good chance

This is AWESOME. While it's not the ideal matchup for either, I love both of these characters. Diddy kong racing and the sonic adventure games were my childhood! Tbh i think this is a bit of a mismatch in tails' favor though.

@@LaymoSupraymowell diddy was able to headbut the same moon that dk punched and knocked it down which if i remember correctly it was over 3 megatons of force or whatnot and didn’t appear to have any brain damage or anything so not only does it mean his jetpack can propel him with that much force but it also doubles as a durability feat and that’s not considering the explosion that knocked him up that high to begin with. another thing is diddy is faster than dk who can punch so fast it ignites the air. as for tails not only can he consistently keep up with sonic so he can scale to at least speed and the force behind his attacks are likely similar as well.
I grew up with a Sega before a Nintendo, so I think I may have placed myself where I stand. I’ll see how this goes though, if these two do go toe to toe in a official death battle

Very cool matchup with an even better track! Rooting Diddy, idk who wins. Even if Super Tails has been made non canon, he should still be smarter and have an advantage in arsenal. Meanwhile, Diddy is way tougher with his own moon feat but needed to be slammed into the moon with his Jetpack, so his strength may not scale. Speed and power are equal from what I've seen.

The only thing Tails has going for him is speed and intelligence. Canon Tails doesnt have much for feats outside of his mech in SA2, and he doesnt have his own super form (canonically) unless he borrows power from super sonic, which wouldn't be allowed in a death battle.
Diddy canonically defeated (with help from Trixie) King K Rool in DKC 2, the same King K Rool that can fight on relatively equal grounds with Donkey Kong, the same Kong that cracked the moon in two.
All Diddy has to do is catch Tails once, and Tails is dead. Titan Tails one-shots Diddy though.
This heavily depends on the canon. If the Archie Comics are used _at all_ then Diddy gets washed, _even without taking Tails' super forms into account (Titan Tails is non-standard, but even Turbo Tails is overkill),_ given Archie Tails does, at least to some degree, scale to Archie Sonic, given how he's fought against multiple characters on the blue blur's level, including Sonic himself, and held his own. The very same Archie Sonic who can survive a black hole imploding in his face and just straight-up ignore time stops with his speed.
@@Hyperneosonic97I see a huge flaw with this guy’s comment king k rool has fought on par with donkey Kong but the problem is that this was before donkey Kong country returns and diddy needed help from Dixie Kong to fight k rool plus tails has destroyed an entire mech who can demolish an entire town square in SA1 and he has been able to survive a rocket ship explosion plus as we know rings serve as extra durability and in sonic O6 he can hold up to ninety million rings plus tails has been able to use his the flight core from sonic heroes which can allow him to fly faster and he is able to even fight metal sonic with sonic who has shown to be superior to classic sonic and modern sonic who can both break apart mountains and kill gods and since modern tails is comparable to modern sonic he can take out chaos who destroyed an entire city so this guys logic is way off

Not to rag on the commissioner or anything, but this is an absolute mismatch.
Post-Adventure and onward, Tails consistently scales to Sonic and co. who are Low Multiversal (especially after and during Sonic 06, where all of them little stood outside of time itself with no issue whilst everyone else ceased to exist). Not to mention Tails' tech, which easily outweighs and overpowers Diddy Kong's arsenal. Physical strength becomes obsolete against a character as fast as Tails, who can keep up with Sonic at full speed, and Tails could also take a lot more punishment than Diddy can. And hell, even if Diddy could put the hurt on Tails, he could always quickly heal up.
There's not a single scenario where Diddy Kong gets even close to beating Tails. It's still a fun matchup to envision, though.
Base Sonic at best is Star level and MFTL+. Diddy scales to the Mario crew all of which are Uni+ and MFTL+ the Uni feat you're talking about doesn't fucking scale to Durability or AP. Hell if you want to have a better example of this. Batman is Outerversal at base since he's been in timeless voids before. Especially during the Arc where Superman fought the World Forger.
And the speed gap between Mario and Sonic is practically non existent if anyone worth their while even looked into Mario. Both are MFTL+. With Base Mario tiers having faster reaction timing than Base Sonic tiers. While Base Sonic tiers are faster at travel.

Diddy also has temporary invincibility with the Crystal Stars, which he can hold 3 of at once. Meanwhile, Super Tails was made non canon in some Sega interview.

And even then, he could just stop time or use his shields to block the peanuts. If we include hyper forms, then tails also gets flickys that are equal to him in speed and can summon clones with the power of the chaos emeralds. He could just hide in a shield and summon others to do his work, or stop time and obliterate diddy.

Tails also has the tornado, which can catch up sonic and is durable enough to survive attacks from eggman’s robot, which can damage sonic who survived attacks from chaos who sunk and destroyed an entire city.

If we go without scaling, Both Tails and Diddy should be country to large planetary, however Tails is smarter and Faster than Diddy with more versatility.
If we go with downscaling/scaling, both downscale/scale from Universal (base Sonic and Donkey Kong/Mario) however Tails would infinitely outspeed him, as Sonic can move through dimensional barriers, restore time through his speed and move around an infinite distance.

0:00 [Tails spin dashes and homing into Diddy and hits the back of head. Tails then grabs Diddy then
0:16 throws him into a wall. Tails punches Diddy while hitting him with a spinning attack using his tails.
0:22 Diddy slides past Tails and back hands him] Tails: My inventions! Get away!
0:32 [Tails charges up a blast at Diddy and Diddy charges a strong blast from his peanut gun and the two collide with each other that soon takes the fight outside as Tails uses a homing attack that
0:41 combos into a spinning tail attack then spikes Diddy into the ground.
0:55 [Diddy takes out two peanut guns and shoots Tails. Tails dodges the peanut gun from moving from left to right. Tails takes out the energy arm cannon and launches a giant blast at Diddy]
1:31 [Diddy dodges and uses his tail to throw Tails into the ground and combs him using his feet. Diddy then grabs some bananas from a nearby tree and throws them around Tails. Tails uses his copter to blow the bananas toward Diddy. Tails uses magic arm to punch Diddy toward him. Then Tails performs a spin dash tail copter combo]
1:49 [Tails uses magic arm to punch Diddy in the air then spikes him into the ground, then he uses a smoke bomb to confuse Diddy. Then the smoke clears and Diddy is surprised to see napalm bombs surrounding him. Diddy gets exploded into the air then Tails spikes Diddy into the ground]
1:57 Tails: You're tough I’ll give you that, but I’m still faster! [Tails uses flash bang grenades and throws them around Diddy while flying around super fast. Tails uses the energy arm cannon to blast at Diddy, blowing him up with a giant fire explosion. Tails realizes that Diddy is nowhere to be found, then Diddy jumps on Tails and starts slapping in the air] Diddy Kong: [Exciteful monkey sounds] Tails: Get off me!
2:08 [Tails shakes off Diddy to be surprised when he sees an orange-like grenade on his tail. Tails gets exploded into Diddy that combos into his feet. Diddy then charges two peanut guns into Tails that launch him into a giant boulder. Tails rides his magic arm out of the smoke and toward Diddy. Diddy dodges but he is met with a napalm bomb. Diddy grabs his barrel jetpack and takes to the skies]
2:22 [Tails dodges the peanuts and gets his X-Tornado to join Diddy in the air. The fight takes place in the sky and the Tails chases Diddy as they make their way through the mountains]
2:33 - 3:33 [Tails and Diddy start shooting peanuts and rockets at each other while moving around each other, and maybe even some hand-to-hand combat]
3:40 [Tails then moves around Diddy then sticks a remote bomb on Diddy’s back. Diddy gets blown out of the sky and into the ground. Diddy drinks a healing potion then shakes his head to snap out of confusion. Tails lands on the ground and shoots a giant energy beam from his arm cannon at Diddy]
3:55 [Diddy rolls out of the way
4:00 and grabs a flamethrower from the ground and tries to burn Tails. Tails knabs a fire protection

4:15 runs toward Tails and shoots peanuts at him while throwing bananas. Tails uses magic arm and
4:20 charges a giant energy blast from his arm cannon. Diddy dodges the punch from the magic arm but gets hit by the energy blast. Diddy’s eyes get filled with rage as he finally comes up with a plan. He throws a grenade at a boulder on a cliff behind him Diddy jumps on a tree, then another, then another. He starts moving extremely fast around Tails while shooting him with peanuts. Tails is so
4:40 taken back, he can’t see where Diddy is and can’t blast him. Then Diddy grabs his guitar and plays so hard, he is thrown into a mountain. Diddy puts away the guitar and starts burning Tails with his flamethrower. Tails screams in agony as he doesn’t hear the explosion of the orange grenade that
4:50 pushes the boulder over the cliff and smashes Tails into the ground. Diddy plays his guitar and plays in triumph thinking he won. But he sees a bright golden light, and Tails is now in his super form. Tails: This isn’t over just yet!! Diddy grabs an invincibility star and turns invincible]
5:00 THE FINAL BATTLE STARTS
5:05 [Tails shoots a giant blast of powerful energy at Diddy. Diddy rolls away and starts punching Tails and drags him along the ground, through a forest while punching him. Tails roundhouse kicks Diddy away and throws multiple napalm bombs at Diddy.
5:15 A magic hand greets Diddy from behind. Diddy gets exploded by multiple bombs in the face and
5:20 exploded. Diddy breathes heavily. Tails then spin dashes then is released like a golden ball at
5:24 Diddy. He barely is able to block the powerful spin dash. Diddy launches Tails into a tree. Tails
5:29 uses chaos control and pauses time and sets bombs around Diddy and electric energy balls in the air. He unpauses time and Diddy gets blown away. The invincibility is about to wear off. He hatches an idea: Diddy grabs his jetpack and starts to fly around the Earth at superspeed. Tails notices Diddy moving around the Earth at immense speed and charges a massive energy beam from his arm cannon. Diddy grabs a hammer and is ready to deal the final blow. Tails releases a giant beam of energy at Diddy. Diddy’s hammer clashes with Tails’ energy beam. The aura of the clash destroys most things around them. Diddy’s jetpack overloads and he powers through the blast and hits Tails so hard the chaos emeralds get knocked out of him and Tails returns to base. Diddy overloads his gun and fires a flaming peanut and blows Tails into chunks and pieces.
5:40 Diddy gets his boombox and celebrates in triumph.

I kinda disagree. Seeing as tails is way faster and has Hax that diddy can’t counter like timestop and has attacks that should be able to kill him. Plus, his invincibility should be enough to kill diddy, and, if we include hyper tails, the flickys would be quite the hassle for diddy to deal with, as his gadgets aren’t very durable and tails and the flickys are fast enough and strong enough to destroy them. Including things like the chaos emerald abilities from sonic superstars, then tails has way too many gadgets and Hax for diddy to deal with.
