I think you made a mistake saying FDB instead of ADB for question 2
For the 90 degree angle part?
@@kevinmathscience yes sir
Yeah not me scrolling through the comment section to see if I was right or wrong
But Ye I Also Noticed That Mistake
For question 2 on the part(7:51) isn't it suppose to be triangle ADB instead of triangle FDB that is equal to 90°?
Thank you sir
i struggle with this topic so much
sir how can the 5 just stay at the bottom? isnt it like... multiplied by the AC so it must stay together at the 5AC mustn't it?
You can cross multiply 5AC and AC and you will get 5AC²=FD.AD ,but we want AC² alone then u will have to divide by 5 both sides And in that way u end up with AC²=FD.AD
sir can we name the triangles how ever we want when we state that they are similar ( but as long as we keep the order the same )
Yes :) You choose the first triangle however you want, then make sure the second one is matched to that :)
is it wrong to multiply the 5 aswell and say 5AC^2 then divide both sides by 5?
HI...for the 3rd point for number 1, can we say angles in the same segment??
Sir what if I say F=F (common)
@@Tutor4STEM oh yeah I get it now
Can anyone please tell me why Keven only multiplied AC and not with 5?
He did multiply by 5 as well ( He didn't show it on his workings though)
Hence why he divided by 5. In order to remove it from the left to make AC the subject
@@ziyandamajubana8536 ooh, it make sense now. Thank you
