Very cool trolley. Portland used to run electric streetcars up to Council Crest (probably much taller than this hill) back in early 20th century. You can now take a bus up there. Pretty interesting
On the other car if you are in a wheelchair you either get on on the first compartment or the third because on that side there is a OTIS series on hydraulic elevator
OK I freely admit that this may sound like a daft question, but as a VERY confused non American, I have to ask. How many Mn't Washingtons are there in the U S A ?. I presently live in New Hampshire, and as far as I knew Mn't Washington New Hampshire was the only one in the U S A now you tell me that there's another one in Pennsylvania, how many more are there ?
Did you film the General Elevator in the Freight House Shops (Station Square), the Schindlers in The Landing & Marina, or the elevators in the Station Square Garage?
Very nice lift, and it reminds me a lot of the elevator trams in the St. Louis Gateway Arch.

Awesome funicular. Also I heard there's another funicular that goes up to Mt. Washington called the Duquesne Incline. Did you ride that one at all?

Yes. There’s an elevator to get to it on the other side from the lower station. It’s an added-on 90’s Otis Series 1.
