Both Brad Garrett and Doris Roberts won Emmys for this episode. Brad later said he felt he rode Doris' coattails to winning the Emmy based on Doris' moving scene at the end ("He was supposed to retire.") But Brad more than earned his Emmy for this scene and his explosion afterward. P.S. I got lucky to meet Brad last year through a mutual friend who arranged for us to meet him backstage after his show at his Vegas comedy club. He was not only funny as hell but was very sweet!
Out of all the episodes , I don't think I have ever seen Robert so angry, but calm. Also does anyone remember the episode where he volunteers with Big Brothers program and he gets paired with an adult (the reason why I forgot). but every time he went there he would ask "What's the quickest way to the highway?"
It’s kinda stupid and makes no sense that we find out the agent knew she was trying to sabotage him and that the letter had nothing to do with him not getting the job, yet the agent is reading and treating Robert like it’s his fault she wrote that.
I would shit my pants in fear if someone huge looked at me like Rob did in this scene.😂

Ditto to all of the above.
This episode and the one when he marries Amy are absolutely hysterical 😂🤣 I don't know which one is better....😅
"HE'S THE FBI MA! I WASN'T APPLYING FOR A JOB AT THE GAP!"
2:08 that laugh 😂😂😅 LOL
Ikr likeeee 😂😂
Who hasn't had that "Oh God Moment" with their Ma. Lol. 😂
I like how the agent looks Robert over after reading "and handsome", like he's deciding "Eh, I don't know about that."
