I love these games because they're the perfect reminder that CEDH-focused players can and do still really enjoy casual games. There is, in fact, room in peoples' hearts for different kinds of commander.
Dylan’s n Cam’s casual are just wayyyy too casual compared to Joel n Jake. The play to win crew welcome the guests w grace despite the plvl difference n didnt even say anything about it thru out the whole video n still had fun. Love the attitude n thats why this channel is the best. I would believe some other creators would have been salty n kept complaining about it. Love it!!

There's a chance that there were some that just didn't show up this game, but the Vilis deck needs some utility enchantments. Phyrexian Arena, Phyrexian Etchings, Black Market Connections, Ob Nixilis Reignited, and Underworld Connections just to name some that help draw cards that Vilis will also draw off of and feed the Gary some extra pips.
Planeswalkers aren't broken, but Joel casually gaining 40+ life this game off of people attacking Dihada is why I think planeswalker commanders are such nightmares in casual. It's honestly just kind of a drag, especially with it creating the treasures to recast it again the next turn. Cam's deck is hilarious. Jund shitters is so much fun. I once cast a Bloodbraid Elf that cascaded into a Thoughtseize and nearly ascended. Every single time a casual game is played, you two run into every common problem with the format. Drawn out games, mismatched decks, weird inclusions, botched rules, and strange politics are basically the Hallmark of every game I play at my LGS. 😂 28:32 Fun rules error. Minas Tirith can't draw a card because "enters tapped and attacking" doesn't count for the two creatures.
I played modern Jund for so many years that I also made a Disa deck as an ode to my Boomer Jund days a lot like how Cam did. Its beautiful to see it pop off a bit and play some of that Jund spice.
So, Dylan, may I make a suggestion or two for the deck? Just for a bit of consistency, control and more importantly.. devotion. Sheoldred the Apocalypse for obvious reasons (though understandable if you don't want to put it in. I still think it has a place in casual). Sheoldred, Whispering one. Underworld dreams, and Bitterblossom.

Correct, Rakdos Joins Up only hits an opponent, and the Deluge made the Bladewing's power 0. Mjölnir also only damages each opponent for the number of tapped creatures "that opponent" controls, so only Dlyan would have taken 1 damage at 19:23.
I think that the rakdos joins up trigger when bladewing died should have been for zero damage since the deluge killed it. Means razaketh would have lived. Still an awesome game!
Seeing Dylan not have any alt-wincons is so funny. Being used to have a deck where every card connects to another and then going to cards with stand-alone abilities got my boy frazzled.
I love Imskir so much. One of my first commanders was Bosh, the Iron Golem, chucking Wurmcoil Engine and Mycosynth Golem at people. I gotta finish putting that deck together.
8:21 As a Firja, Judge of Valor player you have no idea how happy it makes me to see Cling to Dust be used. That card is an Egyptian God card in Firja, and it's my second favourite card to see after Vedalkan Orrery. EDIT: Joel makes Rakdos Joins Up way look better than it actually is
dylan, i personally think enchantments and artifacts with acutally blue pips would be nice. maybe, bitterblossom, phyrexian arena and black market connections coudldwork, they all also deal you some damage which can lead to card draw with villas out other ideas would be: Hopeless Nightmare, Tortured Existence, Font of Agonies, Underworld Dreams, Bottomless Pit. nice card card to get some life would be creeping bloodsucker, twilight prophet, death greeter. Basilica Screecher and Thrull Parasite for a source of extort. Oubliette to remove card and have 2 black pips stay in play maybe Exsanguinate as a finisher or atleast big HP swing Burglar Rat, Nezumi Informant force your oppoents to discard on ETB, which can be a way of "black controll" also, yes pac rat is a nice way for black to create a big board!

Small thing, but this misplay plus the misunderstood Rakdos Joins up triggers made the last 7 minutes of this hard to watch. Plus, I wanted to see more Gary triggers. Hello guys I really like this show, I’ve started to play CEDH 2 months ago because of you. I like to play decks that involve my commander to be part of the win like Nadu, do you have any recommendations for a new deck that follows this idea?
There are a few: Najeela, Sisay, Niv-Mizzet Parun, RogSi (sorta), Derevi, Tymna/Tana Blood Pod (sorta), Naru Meha, and Kenrith are some that come to mind
Dylan should have been at 8 more life due to mutilate making shrinking the creatures not killing them. Later in the game toxic deluge also should shrink the bladewing to it would deal no damage and this one is a double misplay because then Joel targets a creature with a trigger only meant for players.
i think Rakdos Join Up doesn't target a Creature and it should not have any damage since legendary creatures died have 0 power when Dylan played Mutilate and Toxic Deluge

Idk, takes up a land drop and consistently stings. Not trolling, with the amount of times the card has been reprinted, I feel like it’s pretty accessible and acceptable for casual.

It would deal 0 AND rakdos joins up can't hit creatures either. Just players, so razaketh would have been alive

Imskir is so much fun. Deck is super resilient, has lots of outs and the demon loves to die again and again. I love commanders with the draw built in.

Snuff Out targets a creature; a token creature is still a creature, and so it is a legal target
