Can we talk about how blake finally has gold in her outfit??? Yangs always has a piece of purple but blake only had that line in her sword. Even if its not canon im flipping out right now these designs are incredible!
In *PART ONE* they gave Batman real wings, so I think in *PART TWO* they did the reverse and took away Blake's Cat Ears..
I don't think there's anything deeper to it.. 🤷♂But that's just me 😁
It actually makes sense as both Batman and Vixen were given bat wings and a fox’s tail is because their alter egos are based on animals thus making them Faunas in Part One.
When Team RWBY came to Earth in Part Two, not only were their semblances changed to powers similar to what they had in Remnant but in the case of Blake she was changed to a human form and most likely her cat ears became her mask.
This was a good trailer and I think the reason Blake does not have her Cat Ears is if I remember from the first Part when Vixen entered the RWBY universe she became a Fauna’s duo to her animal like powers so maybe since Blake enters DC universe she becomes a human since Fauna’s don’t exsist in that Universe.
Most heroes who work as or with journalists, work there so they can be close to the action, and hear about any crimes taking place, and then sneak off to get changed.
12:21 It's not just a Redesign. they are Older in the Justice League universe probably in their 20 - 25 years old.
RWBY also had redesigns in the DC/RWBY comic crossover and I'd say they're kind of similar in design to that but also different, Especially Yangs. I honestly highly recommend checking out the DC/RWBY comic as it goes into the whole thing of Remnant and the DC verse merging into one. I have to disagree with Calxiyn, I feel the look actually suits Yang as someone who reads a lot of DC, especially Wonder Woman. She 100% has Amazonian vibes so matching that armoured aesthetic totally fits.
Also with Blake her DC powers gives off Raven from teen Titans vibes with an outfit very Huntress like. Also feel Blake becoming Human in the DC verse is kind of a parallel of Batman becoming a Faunus in the RWBY-verse.
Can we talk about how Weiss, Blake and Yang are FINALLY wearing white, black and yellow again?
It's so weird how they don't let them wear their image colors
Could Watts create issues with the canon? Possibly, but as a Watts LOVER I think it's worth it if it means giving his character a better spotlight
I don't know if this was deliberate but DC universe Ruby's Scythe weapon looks like something Scarecrow would use.
From screenshots people have been guessing that team RWBY are using stuff from Batmans rogue gallery, Ruby has scarecrows sythe pitchfork, Blake Has Deathstrokes Bo-staff, Weiss has Mr Freezes Gun.
I read the comic crossovers, wildly different. Yang head a boxer-like headpiece that made her look like she was Big Barda or part the Furies from War World

Pretty sure Yang is meant to look like a Amazon like Whwre Wonder woman is from she looks more like one in the comics and I think it makes sense Yang would totally be a Amazon if she had a couterpart in DC

21:35- Basically Team RWBY came to the Justice League’s world, resulting in them getting different outfits, different powers and Blake losing her ears, but when going into a digital world the Justice League created to trap Kilgore, Team RWBY got their appearance and semblances back.
In terms of the powers RWBY have in the Justice League world are as follows:
Ruby- Teleportation
Blake- Shadow Bending
Yang- Fire Punch
Weiss- N/A
I just pre-ordered part 2; the first was awesome. The Yang’s hair look like her voice actress’s hair a few years back. I agree with Hunter that Yang’s design is Amazonian in style which for DC fits well for her character.

IMO the part 2 villain is (biotech) Brainiac because iirc he developed science to match and neutralize the JL’s powers before in the comics

It doesn't matter where in the timeline it happens because these movies aren't canon lol.
They could be they seem to really set the first movie during a time where it would make sense

1. Licensing. Imagine one day Warner Bros sells RoosterTeeth. Their IP is now canon to something they no longer own.
2. They cannot allow Superman to canonically exist anywhere near RWBY. Salem is not a threat if Superman is there. He'd just grab her by throat and toss her into the Phantom Zone.
@@cyrus9424 I am actually not so sure about that. This may not be canon to mainstream RWBY, sure, but it IS canon to DC that one of Superman's big weaknesses is to magic. So, unless it's an extremely quick ambush with Clark not holding anything back and with a lot of prior prep time to open the Phantom zone (which may actually be inaccessible from within the RWBY/Remnant Universe, come to think of it), then there is a not insignificant chance that the immortal dark witch would be able to win that round against Superman, especially if she sees him coming from they engage.

It’s sad for jaune because first he loses Pyrrha, then he isn’t even in the second movie with his new (potential) crush
As a DC fan I'm happy with this I like the movie better then the comic is a comic / DC and rwby I just have to say the comics actually really suck especially the first ones they made they weren't that bad they had a lot of good ideas with them and even the newer ones they made this year were okay but I think the movies are a lot better and not just cuz they're animated but because they actually utilize the characters and what is your familiar with and separate kind of what they did with Batman in the first movie with him having powers and one in the stay home and it was just way out of character for him and I did not like that but all the other character seems spot-on even the villain even the Ruby character seems spot-on to what their characters are liking the show I just hope they don't do that again where they change the character around just for these movies like it was weird I hope we also get to see jnro
but I don't think they'll be in this movie I think when they did these movies they just wanted to put Nora randa and Sean in the first ones and it was a good idea at the time when I think they were doing these movies Oscars voice actor was on voice rest so that's why he didn't have a much of a role in the first one or even really speak
So I don't know if he'll even be in these I do hope we get to see some other characters from Rhonda again A lot of people are saying that a character from a game is going to be the villain of this I think it's the game Grimm eclipse I'm not sure I will have to go look for like somebody talkin about the game I don't know I've been seeing a few image leaks for part 2 on Twitter won't be shocked at the whole thing just gets leaked within a month cuz that's just happen sometimes I guess
