- I have owned the Junsun V1 Pro for around 2 weeks and these are my experiences of this unit over that time

It looks like the interface for most of these Chinese head units is the same. Apart from the home screen, all the bulit in apps, like bluetooth and radio, pretty well look identical to Xtrons and Eonon branded units.
How do you find the performance? Loading maps and other applications I mean. Do they tend to be slow, or does it load fairly quickly?

Hi, great video! Just got mine a week ago and got it installed. Q: is it possible to have steering wheel commands active and use old mic built in Nissan Qashkai 2009.
The quality of mic it’s useless…
Steering wheel controls should be a use, the cars microphone, i dont think so

I just got mine installed today and I love it.
Only thing that bothers me is the crappy crash cam app,
I don't have an option for adas or anything, not even video settings
What are you using to control it?
the Dashcam that came with mine supported ADAS, but it was crap..
failed to detect lanes, but most of all when i turned off Voice Over, it will still do a voice over...
So i just put a micro SD Card in to it and left it at that and uninstalled the ADAS software (that was a pain to install anyway)

@@rickstechrepairs yeah, I have same issue, no radio in Agama.
If it didn't set automatically, which I'm sure it did for his stereo. You can add it in agama by swiping to the right and bring up the 4 + icons.
Could you please write what is the quality of phone calls because I heard that the microphones are weak in these stations.
I haven't had anyone mention me being quiet on a phone call so I think it's been fine
Just ordered one of these units, especially for a Hyundai Santa Fe. I opted for an 8 + 128gb model with the latest "3" firmware already installed. I'll be using an iPhone with it, and am particularly interested in seeing how CarPlay will work.

Can it use the hotspot on the smartphone, and is it as quick than of you would use 4g?

Hey Rick. Great video! One of the main reasons I went for the Junsun V1 Pro myself. I've got a question regarding the included reverse camera. Was there an app you needed to install to get it to work? I've got it wired up according to the sellers instructions and when I pop it into reverse, the camera doesn't show. Thanks in advance!
Nar I didnt need any extra app
When I put my car in reverse it auto switch's to a the reverse camera and overrides the android side of things
Like I can't even turn the volume down via the hardware buttons while in reverse

Have you ever had issues navigating with google maps? My unit gets lost, the arrow points to the side or backwards some times, I have changed gps antenna 3 times still don't get it right
Iv only used the gps two of three times and it went fine
I saw you have the 4gb ram is it fast enough in switching programs ? Or is there any slow response
Thinking about ordering one myself so i think your video is very helpfull

Well I've got to ask, your headunit looks and sounds like what I've got in mine from ebay. That bluetooth screen is identical to mine. Have you ever tried hooking up a video game controller with the bluetooth? I've tried an official xbox one and a nimbus steel series. Both attempt and appear to pair. But don't list on the side
And how do you find which version it's on as I seen your video of version 1 to version 3 upgrade

@@rickstechrepairs yeah I have what looks to be the exact same model of stereo. But don't think it's the same brand, even though its nearly identical. I'm willing to bet it is the same, just not sold by the same distributor. If you get a chance, can you try pairing a controller of some sort via Bluetooth. I'm super curious to see of you updating made the bluetooth function better.
But yes I was referring to the v1 model. Is there a page on the head unit itself that confirms which version is installed?

One, I bought such a miracle, it's good and everything, but I can't see the consumption, temperature, etc., because unfortunately the original LCD was disconnected. Is there a way for me to watch these on the headunit? In principle, you should know it because it detects the steering wheel control, reversing camera, etc.
i use an odb2 bluetooth adapter and use Torque on the headunit, it gives me a good reading of the car

@@MarkusVolcanz hi, I already installed junsun v1 pro in my car (Kia Sportage IV) and there is an app called CarLink which let you connect with CarPlay. Works excellent for me.
Clear the cache for the camera app, I had the same.

Hello friend, I bought this radio for my car also. The seller told me that Android auto Is not working on this radio, but I see that you have downloaded Android Auto app in your Junsun, could you tell mě how you did it a if it works properly, please?
I haven't had it run wirelessly, i did manually install it but I think it need to run via cabled

Hello, on my radio it is entering settings, car infotainment, swc, there, you choose the function you want to pair and press, when it flashes you press the corresponding button on the steering wheel of the car. I hope it is useful to you.

First power on = about a minute
Turning on car after first boot / sleep mode = 5 seconds

I got this radio. There is no way to turn off this radio except for unplugging the car battery. Pretty pissed off that I bought it.
That hasn't been an issue for me
Standbye doesn't drain much on the battery

Do you still have this tablet? What's your opinion about it? Is it good or bad?
@@carlosbarreto4695 I don't drive my car a lot during the pandemic, so I don't use it a lot. The radio app seems to be fine. Today, however, I had some troubles starting the iGo navigation, it took my a couple of minutes to make it work again. As for the charging problems, I had contacted the seller and I was told to disconnect a yellow cable. Now the radio turns off as soon as I pull out the ignition key.
Also, as a gift, I got a rear camera that is utter shite and almost never works.

Does the unit also support split screen mode running two apps simultaneously? I've seen it on other Android units but couldn't find any video's doing it on the Junsun unit. Should be something like the video in the link below (starts on 0:22 min):

i believe it was advertised as it supported it but i use a different launcher (as you can see) and dont know how to actually enable split screen mode
