I found you completely by accident and you are streets ahead of any video to help learn French. I think you make your lessons short, watchable, you make learning fun and easy. That's an amazing gift. Thankyou

Hi Alexa, I was trying to learn french language by myself, by translating whatever (any word or phrase) coming in my mind into french language using google translation 😅. Then I started searching about a video in TH-cam to get the accurate pronunciations, cause as you know googls' pronunciations are like robots 😁. Then I found your magnificent channel. THANK YOU ALEXA SO MUCH FOR UPLOADING THESE LESSONS. You are amazing, and your videos are really helpful ❤❤❤❤
I am learning French on internet too. Also recommend Duolingo , Its on the App Store for free and you can learn French and many other languages for free as well :)

un ananas is spelled an an as-I love watching your videos because they connect to the people learning instead of microphones & stuff that just get you frustrated because they won't work due to something going on like problems on the other end
Bon Apres-midi madam Alexa. I am learning french in my school till now I have learned fruits and vegetables, salutions and many more things but I not anyting but from you I have learned so many things.
You have helped me a lot. At school I didn't understand most of the things. I was very desperate. I was scared I was gonna fail for 3rd term. You made it easy. Merci madame!
I have been learning French from this channel from 3 months and ALEXA your pedagogy is marvelous,no one can beat you. one thing I have noticed that some french words are taken from Sanskrit words ...wonder why is it called origin of languages.
An interesting factoid: in the Indian local language Marathi, which is the official language of Bombay ( Mumbai), the fruit l'ananas has exactly the same name for the same fruit. We simply call it "ananas" meaning pineapple.
thank you alexa so so much i realy learned a lot of this video . in my school we take french and i don't understand anything from the class . so mersi Xd
Once again tres bonne, like your pronunciation of the French 'E' on the end of words as "uh" also your mention of liasons only thing is for me is having to remember the mas/fem words although I remember your tip from previous lessons must practice! I adore your videos keep up the good work Alexa. Bisou Bisou.
Gravity Latin languages has a strong influence of Arabic language because the Lusitania region (where nowadays are Portugal and Spain) were taken of Old Roman Empire when was raised The New Carthage. After that and the Roman Conquest of Judea (where nowadays are Lebanon, Palestine, etc...) many arabic words were being adapted by the Roman Empire and lately it still "stick" in Vulgar Latin Dialects (that nowadays are known as portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian and Romanian languages). If you go to Brazil, you can "start a war" if you say that Kibbeh is not a brazilian snack. Lol
@@davibourne3856 I'm Brazilian and and I don't think we would start a war 'cause of the origins of Kibbeh, we have other things to deal with like impeaching our stupid president...
Bonjour Alexa. First of all merci beaucoup pour vos videos. Greetings from India :) (Yea,you are famous) I have a doubt, In English we say " My favorite fruit is Apple" but in French its " mon fruit prefere est " ... So if I straight away translate it,it will read as " My fruit prefered/favorite is" .... I've seen some other sentences like those where the adjective comes after noun ..... Does that happen a lot ?? I mean if we get that wrong, the sentence will be grammatically wrong, right ??
Yes, in many Romance languages (French, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.), the adjective comes after the noun. Yes, this happens a lot and would be a grammar mistake if you put the adjective before a noun. For example, it’s not “une vert pomme” but “une pomme vert” (a green apple).
I found you completely by accident and you are streets ahead of any video to help learn French. I think you make your lessons short, watchable, you make learning fun and easy. That's an amazing gift. Thankyou
