Yeah, I like both for different reasons. I think the Sly version, while less accurate, was a fun spectacle with some cool things to offer.

Both are great in their own right. Judge Dredd had the humor of the comics and Dredd had the gritty atmosphere.

Comparing it to the Alan Sylvestri original, I like how it captures its style, but also going something like a softer Vangelis (Blade Runner similar) way.
Judge Runner and Blade Dredd.

Excellent music but the producers made a mega fail by removing Dredd's helmet. Even judges that nern arrested for some kind of crime has some kind of helmet.
