So I guess I'll share this cause it's a good memory. My grandmother had never heard me play and had begged me to bring my ukulele so she could hear me. So I brought it one day after months of begging me and I played for her and she loves this song so I played it. She got so excited that she forced my grandfather to come out into the living room to listen to me sing and play lol. She even sang along and got really into it. It was the last song she ever heard me play before she passed away a few weeks ago. I'm so glad I finally brought my ukulele to play that day. Now I'll always think of her when I play this song.
I don't know if this will help anyone at all, but if you just strum each chord twice it sounds good. Just an alternative if anyone is struggling with the pattern.
I struggled so much with track at first. Once I sussed it's in "3/4 time" and the fact that it's a bit free form and improv, I clicked with it and love playing it. It's now on my main practice list.
@@Ukulaliens This is one of my regular practice tracks. It's great to practice 3/4, there are so few and I enjoy "changing step" with this one. Thanks for all your hard work, my fave channel on YT!
For the ones struggling with the strum pattern, first learn the chord progressions and then play it how you feel like, let your right hand move with the song :^] That worked for me
Ravior Agrigorium he seems to slow down and speed up at certain parts. Once you get the rhythm down you can go at your own tempo along with your singing.
For all those that are trying to play ukulele and especially this song, it's so easy. Trust me. I wwas able to learn this in the matter of an hour and I don't even play ukulele haha
Being only 28 and growing up an Elvis fan because of my mom, that was the first song I ever learned to play on any kind of instrument. I am picky about covers but TOP did a great job with this
I am self taught and just started taking lessons. I was using this video but couldn't get it to sound right so I asked for help. My instructor was able to tell that the song goes offbeat about half way through. Although I liked this version I won't be using it to practice anymore.
I reccomend to only play 1 strum for beginners and if you want to sing it practise it slowly. After that you start to add the D-DUDU Pattern steo by step
Chords: C (C Major Chord) F (F Major Chord) G (G Major Chord) G7 (G Seventh Chord) A7 (A Seventh Chord) Am (A Minor Chord) Dm (D Minor Chord) Em (E Minor Chord) B7 (B Seventh Chord)

Awwww 🥰 my boyfriend Harry styles did I the same
cap
Marry that man!
Di sanaol
I have a plan to play this for my boyfriend soon!
This video got me playing my ukulele again after watching it collect dust for months and months. Thank you!
D DU for each chord is also a nice strumming pattern for those first learning to strum and play
for beginners and slow singers, single strum with each chord goes perfect! it might help you, you should try once!
I’m a beginner and I am in love with the ukulele and this song you helped me find new and interesting cords thank you love your channel!
i find it easier to bar the 2nd fret for the Em and E7. plus thats what tyler does as well. thumbs up to help out beginners.
Proposed to my girlfriend yesterday while two of our friends played this and sang for us, truly fairy tale stuff!
I don't know if this will help anyone at all, but if you just strum each chord twice it sounds good. Just an alternative if anyone is struggling with the pattern.
I haven't played my ukulele in a good bit. Maybe I'll start playing it again before the year is up.
dude thank you for posting this, i found this video and i love the song. This song +Ukulele play along equals master piece
I struggled so much with track at first. Once I sussed it's in "3/4 time" and the fact that it's a bit free form and improv, I clicked with it and love playing it. It's now on my main practice list.
So glad you stuck with it Mike! Because of the tempo changes with ot being played live, it was a nightmare to get the timing right for the video! LOL
@@Ukulaliens This is one of my regular practice tracks. It's great to practice 3/4, there are so few and I enjoy "changing step" with this one. Thanks for all your hard work, my fave channel on YT!
For everybody that doesn't really like that strum pattern I found one that sounds more like his... It's DduuD
The higher case D's mean to strum harder
I tried to play what he said, but I ended up doing that pattern on accident. Glad to know it actually works with the song
@@Mockingjay125 same that's why I put it out there

That worked for me
Oh my goodness the voice.... killed this song!
Agreed, terrible version.
I LOVE this thank you so much!! i’m gonna try and get it down i was asked to play this at a wedding 🙀
I use dm7 instead of dm and also DD UU DU for strum, twice on Am 1st 3rd lines, and twice at end of each line, add F,G,Am,F,C,G7,C, G7 for intro
A beautiful song to learn.
My sister used to sing this to me when I was little, now she is gone. Wish I could bring her back just to hear her sing this one last time.
The pattern is the only thing thats throwing me off. I cant seem to match up with him no matter my efforts
Ravior Agrigorium he seems to slow down and speed up at certain parts. Once you get the rhythm down you can go at your own tempo along with your singing.
I think it’s DUDU
Same!!
this song is one i use a very simple pattern for, in fact it isn’t really a pattern, i strum once each chord change and it sounds simple and nice.
I agree u can barely hear it.
For all those that are trying to play ukulele and especially this song, it's so easy. Trust me. I wwas able to learn this in the matter of an hour and I don't even play ukulele haha
!!! This
Dude, i'm an ukulele player and I did it better at the second and third time! It's not that hard, just practice the change of chords
Thank you for the info, i appreciate it!!😊
some people forget this song was by elvis presley, not tøp and i think we should recognise this
Hi, I do mention this in the description and at the start of the video. I agree, very important.
Ukulaliens - Ukulele Club :)
seems fitting since there's debate as to Elvis Presley being a music thief
BUT ELVIS NEVER WROTE ANY OF HIS SONGS LOL
Being only 28 and growing up an Elvis fan because of my mom, that was the first song I ever learned to play on any kind of instrument. I am picky about covers but TOP did a great job with this
Great cover thank you very much
the strumming pattern is D dudu (strum lightly for low cap and if it’s still hard try listen for the rhythm/flow and focus on it) 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
I use single down strokes for this is works just as good 😁
But that's not the right strumming pattern you slacker.
@@Sneaky_Llama no need to be rude
Flying Panda it doesn’t have to be right. It just has to sound like the song.
TYLER JOSEPH
this song hits hard TvT
I feel your pain
Amazing! It helps me so much!
is their anyway to add the strumming pattern for each cord throughout the whole song? Im struggling with the strumming pattern
I am self taught and just started taking lessons. I was using this video but couldn't get it to sound right so I asked for help. My instructor was able to tell that the song goes offbeat about half way through. Although I liked this version I won't be using it to practice anymore.
that EM and B7 made me just stop and scream
wow bellisimo tutorial graciassssssss❤️❤️❤️❤️
For those struggling with the strumming pattern try: D DUDU
Ty for this I can play this song now
love this, this helped with one of my new videos
did you delete them
Very good
I reccomend to only play 1 strum for beginners and if you want to sing it practise it slowly. After that you start to add the D-DUDU Pattern steo by step
Imma sing this to my grandma tomorow.... yeah I cant sing. Wish me luck 😂
so good

The song is by elvis presley but the person singing in this video is a cover done by tyler joseph from twenty one pilots.
TYLER ROBERT JOSEPH
Great cover
Strumming pattern : DDUUDU

Imagine playing this for the love of your life...

A7 (A Seventh Chord)
Am (A Minor Chord)

Thanks to Yousician I know these cords!!
Am i the only one who doesn't know who the singer is? I loved this. 🥰 I'm just learning the ukulele.
Tyler Joseph from twenty one pilots is singing this 😊
Original -Elvis Cover- Twenty One Pilots
Amazing video!
Easy to follow but I find the sea in the background really distracting. Such a lovely tune, it doesn't need embellishments.
Hi, yes it's because it is a live version by Twenty One Pilots. I agree, lovely song.
Nice broooo 😍
Instead of doing g7 could we just do g
Of course, G works just fine too.
Ukulaliens - Ukulele Club thank you
TNG_Eliptical G and G7 Are not the Same
yes you can, it would sound better

Is the strum pattern down up up? I dont get what d du du is
down down up down up
Hope this helps
D means down
U means up
When it’s connected you do those strums quickly together
Bilal C down Down-up down-up❤️
For anyone who couldn't get down the strumming pattern, I found it easier to do DD-UU-DU, rather than DD U DU
Does anyone have any better sounding strumming patterns?
I use DDUDDU
i used DDUD
idk how to tune my ukuklele to make the right notes so i can practice this song for my crush who is my bff
Hi, I've made a tuning ukulele video and also have tuning notes videos. th-cam.com/video/RiaA-h9jv7k/w-d-xo.html
Is there any chance you could upload this video just without the vocals?
the strum patter i settled on was D UUDU
Any tips on how to memorize songs

What is the strumming pattern pls include to ur videos
Hi, the strum pattern for this one is D DU DU, it is shown at the start of the video but I do tend to put more patterns in on the more recent videos.
May you please post an easy version?
This is the original by 21 Pilots. Maybe an version might be easier to play but I think they are in more difficult keys.
What do the numbers on the strings mean please?
Hi, the numbers are suggestions for which fingers to use.
Please listen to this at the lowest velocity
This isn't by twenty one pilots though... it's by Elvis Presley
Hi, this version of the song in the play along is the Twenty One Pilots version but you are right, Elvis Presley did a version before this one.
Ukulaliens - Ukulele Club
Alright! ☺️
But Elvis never wrote a song tho sooo?
1000 like ❣️❣️
Anyone know of where I can get the print off for this or I'll have to write to all by hand #lazy 🤣
Hi, try ukutabs.com/t/twenty-one-pilots/cant-help-falling-in-love/ I used this for the play along but just changed the Dm7 to a Dm
@@Ukulaliens thank youuuuu 🎉☺☺☺☺ muchly appreciated! Stay safe and thank you again!☺☺
