Another thing affecting Houston Rockets offense is Ime’s 7 man rotation, these 7 guys are playing extremely physical basketball and they’re expending so much energy which affects their offense. I would advise the coaches to go deep in their rotation. Udoka should make a 10 man rotation work bcos it gonna help his offense.

If the Rockets finishes inside the top six, as a young team there’s no way alperen sengun it’s best player wouldn’t make an all star selection. I don’t care what wemby,Davis and sabonis does as long as their teams finishes outside of the top six

Becoming a new father has added a layer of complexity to Jalen's life that many fans don't fully appreciate. The demands of parenthood, from sleepless nights to juggling family responsibilities, can significantly impact an athlete's performance. Despite the ups and downs in his game, I'm confident that with time, Jalen will overcome these challenges and become an even better player.🤞🏻

Jalen Green against top 10 defenses this season:
    Grizzlies - 22pts
    Mavs - 23pts
    Knicks - 15pts
    Thunder - (14/9/12)pts
    Clippers - (21/8/31)pts
Jalen Green averaging 17pts per game against the so called good defenses thus far. So nothing outrageous I'll take that BUT he needs to be at least at his 20pts average for his own sake before a playoff serie

Jalen played well the whole game. He doesn't need to score great every quarter. SGA struggles in the first half then kills in the 2nd Half. If you watched the whole game, Jalen made good reads and passes. Then when he passes to Alpi, he finds someone to pass too. Not saying that's bad but if Alpi score more efficiently, for sure JGs gonna rack up assist. Then i also don't know why FVV rarely pass it to JG. Still, JG needs to improve with his shot.
I hope we rack up some wins coz we have a favorable next 3 games. Then, try not playing FVV against the Wolves. Insert Amen again. Let the team run. I want to see it often. I think there is a world JG can be more efficient if either FVV or Alpi is not available (pref FVV).
Regardless, great win. Let pile up some wins. Go Rockets! 🚀

It cracked me up when he tried to downplay san Antonio saying 'they're no where near the play in ' when they are literally one game from the 6th seed. Then listed jalen's bad games against 'good opponents' and jalen's worst games were against Portland and golden state with half their roster out.
He is trying to find or fit a false narrative for Jalen's inconsistency to narrow it down to jalen can't play well against good opponents.
But there is no narrative. Jalen is inconsistent simply because he is a rhythm player that doesn't know how to get himself into a rhythm. That's it. Until he figures that out he'll continue to be the Rollercoaster that he is.
We've seen him light up all defensive team wings and athletic rim protectors. It's has very little to do with the opponent or defense.
It's a rhythm issue. If he ever improves his IQ or experience enough to figure out how to get himself into a rhythm - he'll be an all star. If not, he'll be a 6th man.

It is extremely easy to see the issue with JG. He is 22, and is supposed to be up there with Ant n Ja, but I don't see him as being that. And mostly with the marketability, but numbers too. He is on the wrong team and with the wrong coach for that. He is playing for a San Antonio product. He learning REAL basketball. He might struggle for a bit, but in the long run this will help him more individually. He definitely gets in his head, but 99% of humans couldn't handle the pressure we put on a young cat.
His game is extremely easy too. It just comes down to hitting shots. Simple. If he hits em, especially wide open ones, then his game is great. He playing a totally different game that what he grew up playing, and I think he is handling it great.
Let's give praise to a great shooting night as a whole. Everyone was hitting. And let's not forget the amazing game from Dillon. Alpe with the near triple. And if there is any criticism, that goes to the Stay Ready Crew for losing the big lead in the 4th.

I don’t like when people try to be overly critical of Jalen or Sengun. They are both inefficient. They both have bad games. They both have a TS% of 53%. Alpi’s eFG% is 50% and Jalen’s is 49%. Why can’t they just be 22 years old and growing. I’m not even bringing up our other inefficient 21 year old. These are our starters and we have a ridiculous defense. Just let it grow. I like this podcast and have been listening to it regularly for quite some time as the Rockets aren't discussed a ton in mainstream NBA podcasts, but the being overly critical and giving backhanded compliments to players like JG even when they have good games has gotten a little annoying. Would we all like him to be a little more consistent and score at a more efficient rate some games? Yes of course.
Saying he only plays well against bad teams just isn't true. Against teams ranked in top 10 defense in the league this year he averages 17.2 points. This isn't incredible but it is definitely not "bad." It is more than anyone else on our team is averaging against these same teams.
It has just been kind of tiresome to listen to lately (personally for me) when some guys are criticized even when they have good performances, and inconsistencies and poor performances by other guys like Sengun (and even Vanvleet at times) are just glazed over.

We don’t need Fred to be a hero just cuz jalen shot isn’t falling. Facilitate to the other talent around the team.
Jalen just needs to figure out where his go to spot on the floor is. Right now fast break and draining threes is wat get him going. Thts fine but very limited. Too many times I’ve seen him catching a rythym and he shoots a shot tht immediately knocks him out of it.

Jalen needs the ball in his hands. Before you say "but his usage rate is highest on the team blah blah." Thing is, when he is with the starting lineup with fred and alpi, he turns into a catch and shoot three pointer. Which is clearly not his strong suit. And when he is with our bench and does get the ball, we don't have a consistent three point threat, and he ends up getting blitzed. Now, about him playing well vs bad teams. Everyone plays well against bad teams. Bad teams bad defense. Less doubles, lackadaisical defense and Jalen can capitilize. Good teams respect him and trap him on defense.
Not an expert but I think, few ways he and the team could fix this.
    1. He needs to move without the ball and cut more when he is with the starting lineup. Although there are times I noticed when he does try, Alpi and Fred tends to hold on the ball too much, more often than not, Jalen is denied a possession, as a result he ends up standing around during a posession.
    2. We need a consistent three point threat. Especially when he is with the bench unit. At the same time, Jalen needs to be good at finding his teammates when he plays with the bench.
    4. We need to maximize transition plays. This is Jalen's strength. Amen, Tari, Bari and even Alpi is good at this. I feel like FVV stunts the transition offense.
    5. We need an offensive coach. Our offense sucks.
Note: I am not defending him, I just want this team to improve without making too big of a move. I'm happy where we are on the standings but I feel like if we just improve upon what we have now, we will make waves on the conference. We all now by now that he is good against very weak teams but he will definitely struggle against a bit stronger teams where he will diminish, become dysfunctional, have cardiac arrest, hide behind chairs etc. I will never rely on him in my first 5 if I am going to be a contender team.

They do not go away. Alpi gets his form back quite quickly. But for Jalen, nothing except some talent exists. This guy does not know how a basketball game is played. His IQ is low. To increase that will take ages but if he goes to a doctor and asks for professional help, probably sooner.

I think the Rockets really caught a lot of flak from the public and Ime about the constant jacking up bricks. You could see them hesitating the three and opting for a set up play. We should look at that like a win and see our team responding to healthy constructive criticism. Consistently finding ways to bash them when theyre clearly trying to be better is just a bad take. Sorry bro. I thought I found a good Rockets podcast but you’re starting to sound less and less like a fan, and more like a hater. Gotta let the boys breathe.

The guy is broken. He's played 190 games in 6 seasons. That's like 38% availability. He has never played a full season and only played more than 60 games once. He's always injured and has done nothing in 6 yrs to work on his body to improve or decrease his injury risk.
And it's not even like he has fluke injuries that u can right off as bad luck. It's always his hamstrings.
Broken and would be the world's worst wing/PF fit with sengun. Pass

He’s a lotto ticket and his price should reflect but he’s a superstar when he plays, like yao. Obviously his availability sucks. I think we have the med team and coaching to rehab him like we did dwight and Yao. Compare this to jaken who plays every game but is a no show for half of them. He hurts us half the time he plays. At least Zion wouldn’t hurt us when he plays ever. Again, price has to be right but you’re gambling on a top 10 player if we can get him right and we have the space to afford him for a few years before team gets super expensive

I will continue to stump for turning the all-star game into a 3x3 tournament instead of trying to make exhibition 5-on-5 work. Top 8 vote-getters to a schoolyard draft on night 1. Tweak the FIBA 3x3 rules so the 7 games take up the right amount of time for TV if you need to.
The matchups get a bit more personal, it enables a bit more bragging rights and trash talk so there should be more memorable moments, and the players that are phoning it in get booted out early.

Just like Golden State, they Have a nice defense on JG. And the offense runs through Sengun and FVV and Amen if it is Good teams. And his teammates very seldom to pass on JG. There is a big internal competition within this rockets team. A pointguard who wanna feel he is the 1st option, and Other young stars who thinks they can be A star, than Jalen green. If you wanna have jale. Green the best version of himself, sorround him with the teammates who will teach him, discipline and help him with unselfish plays.
