The philosophy matter is such nonsense. The goal is winning. Whatever philosophy gets us there is what matters - regardless if it came from the coach or club.

That’s your opinion. There are many of us who love the art of football, the entertaining football. Mourinho is one of the greatest and he gets results, but his style of play is boring. If every team played like that, football would’ve died long ago

    • @Ramkeev

@@FCB1899JogoBonito If every team played like that, Mou wouldn't be playing it. Philosophy vs Strategy is simple.
Philosophy - We play this style of football no matter the opposition is. We play this style no matter what the players are good at, we get players to fit the system.
Strategy- We play a style which is effective against the opposition. We play a style best suited to the strength of the players in the squad.
Also I hate the idea of comparing football to art on teams where the players are absolutely micro managed(Pep or Mou) .
Art is freedom, and players should get to express themselves.

It's sad because Roma were only a few points away from top 4 when they sacked him. At least they could've shown him the respect he earned and give till the end of the season as they did with Fonseca, who only finished 7th. The Friedkins were real jerks to José.

The philosophy of United is to win just 2 UCLs, getting knocked out very early multiple times and sometimes even in the group stage under Ferguson and still call them a European powerhouse, while disrespecting Chelsea that did the same in the span of 10 years, Liverpool that has won it twice as many times as them, and City who are current holders and arguably the best team in the world. Pep spent a billion but consider the money Ferguson was splashing on the likes of Rooney, Ferdinand, etc… Ferguson did a phenomenal job to bring up his academy players from his early days, but everyone else since around Wenger arrived, were money splashed… name just one single world class academy player Ferguson elevated since Wenger’s Arsenal started challenging them… United fans are just delusional and hypocritical

AF produced more regular first team players who went on to win PLs and CLs not to Mention he produced more first team academy players who went on to win PLs and CLs - probably more than all the teams and managers who’ve mentioned combined!
Who is disrespecting? You forgot to mention buying Cristiano Ronaldo for 12m and coaching him into becoming arguably the best player in the world as well. Additionally, most players that came to United went up a level under AF apart from a select few who it didn’t work out for. Are we not allowed to mention 13 PL titles? Why does it have to be since arsenal started challenging? Giggs and Scholes both played way beyond those years. The money AF spent on Rooney and Ferdinand? That’s 60m!
Yes, Should have been more CLs, but that was because of Peps Barcelona, arguably one of the greatest teams of all time.

@@MrSmiley9849 account for inflation for those prices… he bought Ronaldo but Guardiola didn’t buy Messi
When Ferguson brings up players like Scholes Giggs Neville etc from academy, he’s a genius, but when Guardiola does it with La Masia players, it’s lucky he gets carried by them? When United were hoarding the best talents in the country and breaking transfer records, it’s okay because the flat values of the players were much lower than the amount being spent today? When United paid for refs it’s okay because there’s no evidence, but City is not okay because someone charged them for breaking ffp even they don’t have evidence?

@@reun1clus I’m not sure who you’ve been speaking to but they’ve clearly hit a nerve. Guardiola built arguably the best team of all time - did I not mention that previously? So who is saying that lol? Guardiola deserves the credit just as much but you play down what AF achieved just to make your point lol. FFP was in place before City decided to breach the rules. Had they been in place prior to that I know for a fact AF and DG would have gone by the rules. Keep crying about United paying refs your agenda is pitiful.
