Ok don't be intimidated. So you select device id under the mac address. Everything had a device id. So after u hit device id you choose SEND device id this is a security step to identify your specific device. Then u choose custom device ID2 this is more security that you add to your device by giving it a "second" ID SO if someone somehow clones your device id the second id is very unlikely to be cloned. Don't let it scare you it's jyst to help prevent people using your mac on the same iptv server. The server can recognize when a second device tries to use your mac address and will BLOCK that device if the information doesn't match your original IDs.
@@timmartin9354 In your video, you said uncheck and then check for first device ID which confused me. Should first Device ID be unchecked? Device ID 2 explanation was clear. IPTV provider only uses Virtual Mac. They never ask for Device ID or Device ID 2. Some people suggested editing Virtual Mac Address to block cloning of it. Some share same virtual Mac address between STBemu App on two different devices to view on either one but one at a time but they run into some issues sometimes. Can you comment on this? Thanks.
@V A you must check send ID. U maybe confused it because I may have somehow confused u in the video. So yes you choose SEND device id as well or you cannot choose device ID2 otherwise. Thank you. The purpose I made the video is for a couple SPECIFIC iptv I use for customers. It was a tutorial for them to follow if they had the contact provider to register device warning frequently. However other people will indeed have the situation so it's the same fix. As for virtual Mac address I assume you are using SMART STB. that is not the best app for security. It's a long story. But it can work fine too. I don't have any customers on smart stb. Just not overly secure but works on some iptv
@@timmartin9354 Thnx. STBemu uses virtual Mac 00:1A:79: while STB uses its own Software ID. What do you think of people modifying Virtual Mac directly in STBemu instead of playing with Device ID in case someone cloned it? Provider needs to. be made aware of device ID/2 authentication too, I assume if playing with Device ID/2. Why do you think STB is less secure? They. have yearly subscription too unlike STBemu which is free. STB has built-in keymaps for Green/yellow/Blue which one has to do manually in STBemu.
@@timmartin9354 I followed all your steps and sent an email to my iptv reseller to reset the machine address. What I meant to say is can I reset my Mac Instead of my iptv reseller? Thank you for you responding back so quickly:)
Thanks a lot. Worked perfectly. Thanks so much for posting. Appreciate you brother!
You're welcome. It's not bullet proof but can help alot. Tyvm
This only works on one device .
If you have multiple devices doing this will lock you out of the others.
Tested !!!
Can you have the same Mac address for two and use it at the same time?
Thanks 4 those videos . Lots of help ! 😂

Tim, Device ID settings are confusing. Can you explain every line of device ID clearly?

U can email me at mred150@yahoo.ca. I'll send u some reliable ones. Ty
Can I restart my MAC address on my own?
You can change your mac yes on stb. Not sure what u mean by restart.
Your iptv reseller can reset the mac if it gets blocked
