Congratulations on 500 🎉
The small farm channels are definitely a better corner of the internet. 👍
Thanks Dave!
Priceless, thank you for sharing your knowledge as I have 3 Oliver’s and have been watching you constantly for assistance and support.
I’ve seen them all and still look forward to the next one every day. Awesome job buddy keep doing what you’re doing
Thanks Craig!
Exactly! Might as well have a little fun. That is what makes your work so great - you have the knowledge and skills, plus you have fun with it! Thanks Chris!
Thanks 👍
If you cant poke fun at yourself who can you poke fun at......
Lol
Loved them all Chris!!!
Thanks!
Great job! Nice collection thanks for sharing your knowledge.👍
OMG THE CONFESSION WITH THE POPCORN was my favorite 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You have to make fun of your self, the achievement of beating every one to it is a win.thanks for the videos👍.
Wow 500 episodes! Congratulations! I first found you through my Dad, they would watch TH-cam at night on their tv. I didn't even know that was a thing 😄. Somewhere around the time of Herman getting stuck or smashing pumpkins is when I learned you did TH-cam videos. Keep them up, the mechanical ones are priceless in helping people keep this old stuff going. You can make what would seem like an impossible task for someone not knowing their abilities, to seeming possible with the help of these videos. Like the collabs with Ross and the humor, makes things very entertaining. Here's to your next 500 videos 🍺
Thanks Jeff!
Just finished watching your "best remembered" videos. 45 minutes well spent. Thanks for all your expertise. Arnie
Glad you enjoyed it
Chris, quite a great video I wondered where you got all your parts ! But you really hit it on the head for the injector sleeve for my 570 Cockshutt, Hercules engine, Zimmerman, Oliver-Cletrac were able to send me one. Thank you, Skip, Western PA
Great news! I'm glad you were able to get it.
Yes, congratulations on getting to 500! Your work is appreciated, I don’t think I would have attempted overhauling a HPD without the video aid prior to starting to explain just how it works, which is key. Once you understand that, they’re much easier to troubleshoot. Checking pressures, and all that good stuff. Thanks!
I'm glad they helped. A lot time it's just a matter of knowing what to expect that makes the difference.
tractor cab confession is my favorite but they are all great !!!!!!!!!
500 videos that’s a big deal, congratulations! After six years of contributing to the “Jar” I would think that Abby’s college is paid in full.
6 years to pay for 4 years of college. I should be so lucky! 😂
@@ThatOliverGuyChris😂
Wow 500 that's awesome I enjoyed the whole thing thanks for sharing your knowledge with us Oliver's always have a spot in my heart the time i spent at your dealer ship wasn't always easy but I enjoyed it.thanks Chris
Thanks! You'll have to come over sometime and we can make a video reminiscing about your time at the dealership.
The Losey/Rieckers comedy hour
Now we need to do a Benny Hill themed video! 😁
Good morning Chris ☕️☕️👍. Enjoy your videos, you can usually give me a pretty relatable chuckle or laugh. Congrats on making so many videos.
Thanks 👍
Congrats on 500! I think the parts counter was my favorite one of these clips. Thanks for bringing us along!
There's a few things I would change if I were to remake it, but that ending where the parts box hits the combine and the animals all go running gets me every time. 😂
I think Herman getting stuck was around the time i found your channel. When Ross asked you if you can help him i think the correct answer would have been no one can help Ross 😂😂
😂😂😂. He might just be beyond help
I've definitely enjoyed all your videos in the past years . I don't remember what year sub you but it's definitely be a fun ride chris.
Thanks!
Nice to go back to those video clips with you. Important for all of us to be able to have a sense of humor and be able to laugh at ourselves. thanks for putting this together for us.
Thank you for watching!
Haha you might have missed your calling you could've been a movie producer or a writer😂 I have seen every single one of your videos, and I've been watching since pretty much the beginning. I forget what I was initially looking for, but it was how to do something Oliver related. I think my favorite one was the one with the brake disc just because I didn't see it coming watching the initial video it was at the end. I sat there and laughed at that for like a half an hour at the time lol. You've got a good sense of humor Chris and I don't take many things seriously myself so I can relate. I still want you to make a removing snaprings compilation because the commentary during those are pretty funny too lol. Happy Easter my friend. Thanks for multiple years of good Sunday morning entertainment, and knowledge
Also, I should give some credit to Ross here he's equally as funny lol
Thanks Adam! Happy Easter
Congratulations on 500 great videos, keep up the amazing content
Thank you! Will do!
500 videos, congrats!! Looks like a mighty nice toy collection. Always good to remember to install those clutch and brake disks.😅
Thanks 👍 it keeps me out of trouble
Chris funny video 😅😅😅 I really like it. One Chris you me got hooked on Oliver tractor history Bunkie Knudsen and Larry Shinoda you came from ford tractor division right or no? Oliver and White tractors had problems with engines and transmission lots? How long did guys stay with company, I hope say names right thanks again for answering my questions once again great video. Other things thanks again get hooked on Oliver tractor history.
Bunkie and Shinoda came from Ford automotive division. Larry was the guy that came up with the Boss Mustang, Boss 302, stuff like that. Bunkie left White in 1980, but I don't know on Larry. The main engine trouble maker for White and Oliver was the 310 diesel. Transmission wise, they had a very reliable line up. Not saying they never broke, but you rarely see an Oliver for sale that says transmission recently rebuilt, because they don't need it.
An interesting note to this, Knudsen and Shinoda had form their own company building recreational vehicles called Rectrans. A couple of years after thry formed it, White bought Rectrans, with one of the conditions of the buyout being that they got their jobs at White. So it looks like they got paid to take things over. That sure makes a guy think about the whole situation.
The one where Herman got stuck was the first video I watched of yours been hooked ever since.
Awesome! Thank you for watching!
Parabéns, continue a produzir Conteúdo eles são muito bons🇧🇷
Thank you!
tractor confession was the best ever. Ross eating popcorn was great.
He said he saved that bag just for the video.
Another vote for the Tractor Cab Confession! 👍
Good news! We're working on another one.
@@ThatOliverGuyChris I'll be watching!
you and ross videos are the best ever
Hello from Tasmania.500 videos what an achievement. I’m sure that you have helped a lot of people with advice on keeping their. Oliver tractors running for future generations to enjoy. Thanks Kerry.
Thank you for watching!
I sure like the videos and that Pith helmet is nice. Where did you get it.
It was already here. I'm pretty sure it was Grandpa's pith helmet. He's wearing it on page 6 of Oliver's Better Farming magazine from the winter of 1958.
I can not wait for the Sunday videos u have helped me a lot fixing my two Oliver’s thanks again
Glad to hear it, that's the main reason I do this.
Congratulations on your 500th video. Your compilations with Ross are awesome. I always look forward to your videos. 😎👍👍
Thanks!
That was a great dialogue
Rossquatch 🤣🤣🤣
He's an interstate menace! 😂
If i had to pick a favorite it'd be Herman he's a work horse. Plus many others especially rebuilds
Chris, I seen all of them and they're hilarious 🤣🤣🤣 I think maybe the absolutely funniest one was the cab confessions 🤣🤣 thanks Michael
Spoiler alert, we're working on another one.
@@ThatOliverGuyChris I look forward to the next one 🤣🤣🤣 thanks Michael
Enjoyed the video
Hi Chris it's Joel from Ohio, is there a special bypass thermostat in a 2-105 mine has 2 , 180 degree thermostats in it.havent had any problems but the book shows a different thermostat on the left side, everyone around here seems baffled by this, figured u would know ,thanks.
There should be 2 different thermostats. The bypass thermostat closes off the hole that lets the coolant return to the engine when it is warming up. Most of the time it will work fine with 2 regular thermostats, but when it gets good and hot, the bypass thermostat closes that hole off forcing all of the coolant to go to the radiator. Without that style some of the hot coolant can go back into the engine, making it run hotter. The bypass thermostat is AGCO part number 1447384M1. That's a Massey Ferguson number, but they used the same Perkins engine in several applications. It's actually priced pretty reasonable too, my dealer has it at $25 and change.
@@ThatOliverGuyChris thanks for the help on 2-105 thermostat, I understand now how the bypass works.i think haha.
Congratulations
I enjoy watching both of you guys tackle working on equipment, especially Oliver.
Keep up the good work and content.
I never miss you or Ross, it makes my day 👍👍👍
Thanks, Hugh! I know you've been here pretty much from the get go. I appreciate you watching and the goodies you have sent.
@@ThatOliverGuyChris thnx, your videos make it easy for all of us to make repairs possible
I enjoyed them all then & now, but the air mail really cracked me up as did the confession. congrats & thanks
Congratulations on 500 videos. Thank you for being so generous with your knowledge. The Oliver world is indebted to you. To have all this information saved digitally is priceless for the Oliver enthusiast. I enjoy all of your videos that I watch. I think my favorite (funny) video is the parts video with Ross. Keep on keeping on!
Thank you!
Congratulations on 500 videos! Thanks for making all the videos, we really appreciate it, and getting Ross involved adds that much more humor!
Much appreciated!
First congrats on the 500th video! This was a really funny take on your past videos. I think the Tractor Cab Confession was my favorite, but Ophelia's New Shoes was a close one. They were all so much fun and you and Ross makes for a hilarious duo for these special videos that make fun of the situation and each other, love them. If I can get a chance I will try to go back and watch a few. Thanks Chris, I hope you had a blessed Easter and your week goes great!
Thank you! It's going to be a wet week up here, so looks like more shop videos
Good fun Chris thanks. I don’t have an Oliver, don’t grow corn or beans but I subscribed to you way back and have enjoyed watching your videos ever since Sunday lunchtime. Please keep them coming. From an Irish dairy farmer🇮🇪.
Ps. Remember those videos that you used to tag on at the end of yours? Showing your dad or grandad? Any more?? Loved them!
I think I have used them all up. I'll double check. And thank you!
Good stuff. Your perspective on farming not only provides entertainment, it enlightens us as well. Looking forward to the next 500!
Thanks 👍
Happy Easter! I've really enjoyed your videos over the years! I've learned things and appreciate you indulging my stupid questions
You said stupid questions and I had to look at the name and make sure it wasn't Ross. 😂. Happy Easter and thank you!
I know I told you this is person Chris at the Winter Get Together, but Thank You again for all you do with this channel! There are a lot of us out here that are able to work on these tractors and keep our operations going because of you (and Ross)! I did two clutch replacements (1650 and 1655 Cockshutt’s) this past week because of your content! I hope you enjoy this milestone! Congratulations! To many more! 🎉
That's the best compliment right there. I'm glad to hear that what I do is helping people keep these great machines running. Thanks!
Congratulations, Chris. 500 is a big deal. What great memories here and a few I hadn't seen. Thank you for all of the great episodes.
Thanks 👍
😮😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂👏👏👏👍👍👍 just loved it this was a wonderful way to be curled up on the sofa with the cats and a good cup of tea 😂😂👏👍 thank you. The phone that was not hooked up was like the first episode episode of bewitched when her phones weren’t even hooked up and Gladys called her husband😅😂😂😂😂
It's like they predicted cell phones! 😂🤣🤣
Congratulations Chris. If you can't have fun doing something, there's not much point in doing it, keep on doing what you're doing.
Thanks, will do!
Congratulations on 500 videos Chris. Love the information and laughter you shared. Keep up the great work.
Thanks 👍
I love your videos and the journey you have taken us on . The swear jar ! I love seeing your tractors work in the field and you work on them in the shop . Keep up your humor , snow crocks
Awesome! Thank you!
Hahahahaha I remember those crocks and snowplows, forgot you "lost" a plow. Best thing is always have fun. You and Ross are awesome specially when you both do vid's together. You're both the best period. I hope you and Ross continue to do video's together. Big congrats on 500 video's Chris. Cheers :)
We're working on another tractor cab confession, and will do more live streams together.
@@ThatOliverGuyChrisLooking forward to watching them.
Good deal!! Was it last year Herman was in the parade, he had a little fun .
Yep, he was in the 4th parage last year. When the tie rod broke a month later I thanked my lucky stars that it didn't happen on the drive to town and back.
It's hard to believe that it has been six years on your channel already. I always enjoy all of your content and learn things along that way and also get to see your equipment.
Thanks! Having a schedule and a father-in-law that wonders what happened if I miss a Sunday help keep me going. Lol
Thank you for reminding us of the past videos. It is hard to think of the number of years that have passed watching your videos. Thank you, thank you. Carry on with the great work AND, watch out for Rossquach.
I've been hearing things in the woods again. Italian things. Spring must be here. 😂
I have heard of a horrible offspring of Rossquach that is called Freddiesquach. BE CAREFUL AND CARRY A WOOD SPIKE AND A CROSS.@@ThatOliverGuyChris
I enjoyed the cab confession video! Its still funny. I think it might have been a live video of combining but I really enjoyed the stories of the farm.
I remember doing a couple of those. One involved people growing pot on my land. If remember right it got more thumbs down than usual. I blame that on the weed. 😂
@@ThatOliverGuyChris Yes, I remember one story was a weed crop in the corn field. I enjoy the stories!
Great video Chris! I really enjoyed.
Way better than the Seinfeld clip show😂
That was a bit of q let down. The next to the last episode is a clip show? Thanks!
That 4x4 Oliver drivetrain can take a beating in the mud.
I don't think I was putting much horsepower to the ground. 😂
... Remember all of them.....!!! 😮
I remember shit spreader drone crash and plowing in gopro
That drone has a mind of its own, and it doesn't always make the best choices
😃😃😃👍👍👍👍👍🍻🍻🍻🍻
The best is Tractor cab confessions.
Thanks!
I liked the swear jar 🫙
It's been well used.
😂 this was great!
Thanks!
Struggles bus one I enjoyed 👍🏻🇺🇸
I forgot all about that one! Thanks for the reminder.
