I like the part about the raven helping the Greek lady get home.

I am happy to see that the church empowers women as I believe we are the support pillars of the faith. Mark my words, everywhere you go in any parish there will always be more women than men attending liturgy on Sundays and they contribute in every way to instill these Christian values in their youth.

Exactly, make it a battle between men and women to see who is better and more faithful to God, that's what Christianity is about.

Sad when one looks at the church this way.

Trying to support you. I believe in Ecumenical councils approved by Rome. Lots of big me's and little you's on both sides. Keep meeting Pope and Patriarcs until you can agree. Mercy, grace, and Redemption...get along. Peace.

The Orthodox have changed their views on divorce and remarriage. Also changed their view on contraception. Developed Essence-energies distinction. Also in times of the apostles there wasn't so many fasting days, rituals, prayers, icons etc... Peter was leader of the apostles and Rome was mother church because was founded by Peter and Paul. John Chrysostom and many other saints acknowledge that...
John Chrysostom - Peter, that Leader of the choir, that Mouth of the rest of the Apostles, that Head of the brotherhood, that one set over the entire universe, that Foundation of the Church...

Orthodox Christianity maintains continuity with the teachings of the early Church, applying pastoral care and theological reflection to address contemporary issues. The Church’s practices and doctrines are rooted in scripture and tradition, adapting to pastoral needs without altering the core faith. The claims about changing views and later developments misunderstand the Orthodox approach to tradition, pastoral care, and doctrinal development.

🤔 To think orthodox (as denomination) would imply in the first place to negate the sacrifice of Christ as an atonement for sin and to justify the priesthood of few negating at the same the priesthood of the believers...

Pretty sure tradition tells women to cover their head.
