I have received several requests to provide styling ideas, suggestions & recommendations that are good to wear for work. I decided to do a series of protective styles that are fairly simple that I love wearing to the office. and they take no more than 5 minutes!!!! These styles are great for natural or relaxed hair. I hope you enjoy!

Your hair is so pretty. How long did it take you to grow it out that long? Do you frequently blow dry it, do you press it out/flat iron? Do you keep your hair stretched out at all times in some way or another? I'm trying to grow my hair out longer...

Nasheemah Harper I think it's just about having options. Some naturals want to wear there hair in a more refined style. I personally can go either way. I love big hair but there are days I want to find a cute style off the face other than a bun or puff. This series is all about showing options!

My hair is naturally thick. You can use a Jamaican black castor oil.

hey! I just got a blow dryer and I've only used it on the cool setting because I'm afraid of heat damage. Do you have any product suggestions for blowouts (heat protectors or moisturizers)???
What your process of detangling because my hair is thick as yours and it gets right back tangled up after I brush it.
I detangle in the shower with conditioner in my hair. You can also install chunky twists while in the shower to keep your hair separated and detangled.

WHat I find is white people in coorporate America are not the ones who make comments about natural hair...it's normally black women who do...no tea no shade!

Lexus Davis you should be able to. It won't be as loose but should still work.
Has anyone ever told you that, mostly because of your eyes, you look like Diana Ross? The rest, the big hair when open, the beautiful chocolate and spirit are the extras.
