As a Honda driver, if I see a Tesla in front of me, I ease off the gas & give them plenty of room! I love the Wham bam channel but don’t want to end up on it 😃
You should ease off the gas if you’re riding too close to anyone idk why but I have the feeling that Honda owners are gonna start receiving a lot of shit from people like this this is just a gathered compilation of Tesla crashes that just so happen to have the Honda owners at fault and then they try to make it viral by saying that people texting on their phones and being distracted are wrecking on purpose
For a car with so much technology and high def video recording in a 360 view it seems strange how targeted it is for harassment. It's like people see it and go "Welp, time to get a criminal record"
As a Tesla driver I can confirm that as soon as I see a Honda on the street I use the ridiculous acceleration of my car to get as far away as possible.
The weird thing is that Honda already has collision avoidance. I’m not sure about the new civics but the new accords have radar and a basic version of autopilot. Mine beeps at me every time I even get close to the person if front of me. Maybe the camera detects the car in front is a Tesla and immediately turns all collision avoidance systems off lol
I have a 2021 Honda Civic sport, it has collision avoidance, although it is terrible, sometimes it applies the brakes and sometimes it doesn't, mostly it just gives a beep and a warning comes up on the dash that says apply brakes. the problem is people aren't paying attention on the road. I've seen people just consistently take their eyes off the road for multiple seconds at a time, while driving on the interstate, that is incredibly dangerous.
I have a 2020 civic hatchback and it does have collision avoidance and it’s actually amazing has saved me a few times from sudden fast highway stops and people waiting until the last second to slam their brakes to stop at red lights. The lane system on the other hand is terrible so I never have it on but the collision avoidance is amazing. You can see it tested on some crash tests for the civic and it really does work.
Do you guys have auto brights on the civic? My Accord has it and it works well on the highways but it always blinds people on the backroads so I normally turn it off on those roads
@@AlexPerez-kt5sj yeah and it works really well as well. Turns off very quickly when any sort of light is detected. I’m surprised how well they work considering I’ve seen many cars with auto bright that works terribly
On getting your electric car totaled by the insurance company; I was told that they are worried about the electric parts being damaged where you can't see it later causing a short or a fire. and that's why they total the cars. I don't know if this is right or not or if it should be a thing that they do.
It's what they're doing when they don't know what to do, that is how to correctly assess a vehicle. Ideally having it inspected by a qualified electric vehicle mechanic. So the trend is to err on the side of caution. It's not really what should be happening, since clearly a lot of 'totalled' vehicles are still quite repairable. And fwiw, the idea that this is something particular to electric vehicles is misplaced. Liquid Fuel powered vehicles are about as if not more dangerous since you can have weakened brake lines, damaged fuel lines, cracked chassis, or drive shaft drifting out of alignment causing some pretty dodgy vibrations. Or my least favourite, exhaust fumes leaking into the cabin. All nasty latent problems that can occur a bit after accidents. I've seen those and a few more occur with accident damaged vehicles.
It's only true when a car has substantial damage. A small rear end impact shouldn't damage the battery pack or any high voltage components, and a visual inspection of these parts is fine.

No one even close to the entrance of it. so I entered to make my turn. As I was making a turn, a honda driver came straight into the roundabout, not paying attention what so ever not even slowing down. He appeared to be going around 45mph while i was going about 25 or 30mph. I nearly ran into the Honda driver, but I was able to hit my brakes and slow down in time. But I nearly got rear-ended by the car behind me since I had hit my break so fast, but I had no choice. It was either hit my brakes or keep going and run into the Honda.. This is why I hate roundabouts. You can have cars enter them that don't even pay attention.

I owned a body shop until last year. It's not uncommon for the estimate to grow as the car is tore down and you find more damage. This is quite common with harder hits. They look minor on the exterior but the deeper you go the more you find!
Yes but revising an estimate 3 times? And such a wide range fron 3K to 24K?? Why not wait to report back until the end of the review of the car damage?

I drive a Nissan 370Z and I've had a number of Honda Accords and Civics that wanted to tailgate me and try to pass me at high speed. Most of the time I drive at normal traffic speeds and try to be a courteous driver but some of these drivers seem compelled to prove that they can beat a fast sports car. Racing some 4 cyl econobox is not my idea of fun on the open road.
Right. As Honda drivers, my mother and I with nearly 600,000 miles on our vehicles we’ve _never_ hit anyone *(KNOCKS ON WOOD)* … I on the other hand have been hit by a Ford Windstar and a Volvo station wagon and she was hit by an Isuzu Rodeo and Toyota Prius 🙄.
The bottom line of HondaBump is the Honda driver drives away with $3-8000 in repair bills while the Tesla Driver walks away with $15-80,000 in repairs and Elan has a BIG smile on his face... I hope Jake at State Farm is upping the levies on those Teslas...

If I was a Tesla owner it would scare the hell outta me whenever I saw a Honda approaching from behind or if I saw one in the corner of my eye at a intersection. 😅
Welcome to the phone addicted American Honda drivers club. Seems even stopping at a traffic light for 45 seconds bores people into texting! The horror! Now, about that thing of not using turn signals UnTIL at the intersection, that’s not proper use, must indicate turn approaching the intersection BEFORE applying brakes. One last “thing,” what’s with the creep once stopped and blocking the crosswalks? Thanks
There's a feature called hands free phoning, sometimes even built into cars. Why not invest in it if you are addicted to your cellphone. The voice recognition feature means also hands-free texting.
I hate it when people Brake Brake Brake Brake, then signal and turn. Haha, it’s hardly a signal at that point! Signal first and let me know you are braking for a predetermined turn so I’m not looking around for deer or kids or something to go wrong
You are right, Honda's account for 50% of aggressive drivers and there are not so many Honda's as people say. About 5% of the cars are Honda's. I believe Honda drivers pay more insurance, rightfully so!
I’m shocked the fire department hasn’t been given the training or the info, on how to disable an electric car. Every electric car has a mains power cable cut point, for fire fighters to use, in the event of an accident.
My first accident was when I was driving home. I got rear ended by a Honda Odyssey going 45mph. I was stopped to make a turn and the collision totaled my VW Jetta. It knocked me forward ~75ft. forward. I am now a victim of the Honda Bump.
I was visiting Tel Aviv a few years ago and while driving my GF's little compact along the coast's hotel district in heavy traffic , setting first in line in the left most straight ahead lane with a couple of turning left lanes to my left , the light for the turning lanes turned green, ( my light stayed red) somebody behind us all honked and the guy directly behind me instinctively ( he was on his phone ) started up and just plowed into our car .....He was very nice about it and info was exchanged .......Now I wonder if he was driving a Honda ?
Yes, I drive a Honda. I also have a friend who drives a Tesla. I've never #hondabump 'd anyone thanks to the fact that i have 6 a speed manual transmission. Though I still think these bumps are entertaining and serve a great purpose as learning material all together.
I drive a Honda crv and I don’t understand how these other Honda drivers get into crashes. Plus I’ve been rear ended, I used my brakes, so idk if they don’t know that there is another pedal down there🤷♂️
I'm a huge car fan (also a tesla fan) but hey, I don't think criticizing an entire community of drivers, and a brand that creates some of the most economic cars on the road is the right cut. I like how you use #HondaBump in your videos BUT, you don't need to make separate videos to criticize them. After all, these are just ACCIDENTS, right? (No I'm not a Honda owner, I just want peace)
I think its pretty clear it is a joke. Perhaps the joke has went on too long at this point idk. They clearly get A LOT of videos of hondas bumping into teslas. They themselves mention all 3 of these points in the video. Is this video somehow more entertaining if they didn't do the joke? I don't think so. Just accept its a joke and not an attack on honda drivers. Likewise just because he says there is a cart demon attacking cars doesn't make it true.
As a Honda driver, I want to believe I'm one of the safest. Of my five years of driving a Honda I haven't hit into anything, anyting. I have to admit though I have a aftermarket tailgating and Lane departure warning system installed. Can you drive a Tesla for five years without hitting into something, or something hitting into you? #YouCanWithAHonda Don't get me wrong though, I love Teslas, just got to feel a little bad for the Hondas too.
I drove a Honda Civic for 10 years and never bumped anything! I've never been in an accident that was determined to be my fault in over 50 years of driving. I don't drive a Honda anymore, but I'm still careful...I don't want to ruin my record!!
Honda's aren't even on the 2021 Top 10 List for "At Fault" Accidents. The Toyota Scion FR-S sits at the top followed by many other sporty type vehicles. I drove a Honda Accord for nearly 20 years up until recently, and had no idea this "Honda Bump" thing was even a thing. I only know about it now because I bought my first dashcam after buying my first new car.
I work at a major collision center in my area and I can attest Honda’s aren’t bias to Tesla they’ll crash into anything. I currently have a 2021, two 2020s, and a 2017 Honda in the repair shop right this second. All with significant damage.

As a Honda driver I tailgate every Tesla driver to instill fear into their hearts
*Insert Shrek's Gingerbread man voice here*
You Monster.
Typical. Don’t expect much more from Honda drivers.
@@_t_f_ lol mad
Let me brakecheck you and see how scare you are to pay. 😂😂😂😂
I hate you sardiners
I work at an auto body shop and for a few weeks I literally saw nothing but hondas, mainly crvs
My Acura tl got totaled by a Honda Crv not yielding and that flipped the crv 😩
My wife has a Honda and I was about to order a Tesla .. glad I saw this video first !
The “patient zero” was the same car as mine and I was like “NOOOOO” 😂😂
I don’t own any car let alone a tesla but I enjoy watching these clips from different parts of the world
Lol you guys are so funny with this Honda thing. I watched one of your videos yesterday where you had 3 or 4 consecutive videos of Toyotas hitting Teslas. Of course the most common cars on the road are going to be involved in most of the accidents.
Found the Honda driver lolol
@@Call_Me_Viper lol you are right, we were a 100% Honda household before our Model S. Now it’s half Tesla half Honda. We never do any Honda bumps.
1:36 honda: im waiting for the light to be green!
Tesla: are you bumping my friends?!
Honda: no?
Other honda: VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV
Tesla: Ooooohhh no..
As a Tesla worker, nothing scares me more than seeing a Honda on the road. I know every Tesla I touched could get Hondabumped and it keeps me up at night
i have the same with Tesla a vacum cleaner
Maybe don't spend shit tons of money on an expensive toy that falls apart if it gets tapped then.
Tesla needs to give Honda its front collision avoidance technology as a public service.
4:41 You killed it 😅
He did kill it
2:22 Letting the person off the hook is the worst thing you can do. They won’t learn to stop texting at the wheel until their insurance bill goes up. I would never accept damage, loss of value when someone else is at fault.
Quite convenient that I got a ad for a Honda Civic while watching this.
This HondaBump video is so hilarious thank you for featuring these accidents 😂😅😂
Actually accord is faster than 370z (Accord sport)
@@mustafabilal2086 Accord Sport - 252 HP (Performance Package)

@YourTypical Asian almost all hondas can be tuned to slay. Including the minivans(owns a 08 stepwgn with a supercharged k20 making 311hp)
saw your donation on stream to #TeamSeas, amazing that you support it aswell!
Dont blame Honda blame the driver
yes its the drivers who makes the mistake.
Nope 👎 Honda drivers are the worst
They all look like Honda's to me.
Face it, Tesla's gotta tattle, Honda's gotta Bump.
@@joskjj3625 I still think BMW drivers are the worst.
The bottom line of HondaBump is the Honda driver drives away with $3-8000 in repair bills while the Tesla Driver walks away with $15-80,000 in repairs and Elan has a BIG smile on his face... I hope Jake at State Farm is upping the levies on those Teslas...
as a honda pilot driver, i can confirm im even more of a danger to society than that one top comment.
31:13 "but he didn't remember that his in-laws had parked their Honda behind his car while they were visiting."
If only there was some way to look behind you while you back out...
That was me, serious bruise to my ego and an even bigger bruise to the Tesla. $12K worth of “lessons learned”. OR it was a good lesson for my father in law to stop coming to the house haha.
@@EA_CBus I know the feeling. I once backed into a stationary light pole at my in-laws farm. I joked that it jumped out into my way.
I own a Honda CR-V, I haven't been in a accident before, because of a features it has called "brake hold". I still have no clue that even with so good features in the car, they keep hitting other cars.
This channel seems obsessed with Hondas crashing. I mean sometimes it feels suspicious.
@@hackluster I don't think so though, cause there's alot of Hondas in the united states, and most Honda owners are new teenage drivers, but what's suspicious is, is that all Honda wanna hit a Tesla and not any other car
@@_one_pincer_09 there is a bias because all teslas have cameras. Not every other car does. So when Hondas bump into Tesla it gets recorded, I’m sure it happens just as often to other brands
@@ghostbustinnn that's facts my guy.
Most of them are old not the new cars
I love how Honda became the channels mascot. It's hilarious
you know, it absolutely kills me to watch these videos. I have always been a super big fan of watching teslas and always point them out when with my family. For a $60k baseline cost for a tesla, of all vehicles, teslas seem to just be a magnet for accidents.. :/
If I was a Tesla owner it would scare the hell outta me whenever I saw a Honda approaching from behind or if I saw one in the corner of my eye at a intersection. 😅
I had a nissan versa and a Honda mf bumped me even though it has a lot of space
Where I live, I'd be more concerned about a "Nissan Altima" bump. Altima drivers tend to skew young and inexperienced.
Agreed, Altima and Maxima drivers are some of the worst drivers I've ever seen. Prius drivers are not far behind that.
As a Honda driver this is sad 😔
Yes truly
These videos are literally the best, you are a legend.
You are right, Honda's account for 50% of aggressive drivers and there are not so many Honda's as people say. About 5% of the cars are Honda's. I believe Honda drivers pay more insurance, rightfully so!
shoutout to bobby for taking the first ever honda bumb xD
I’m shocked the fire department hasn’t been given the training or the info, on how to disable an electric car. Every electric car has a mains power cable cut point, for fire fighters to use, in the event of an accident.
My parents and grandparents are Honda drivers but I know that they would never do that. I hope other Honda drivers stop hating on Tesla. I love Tesla
My first accident was when I was driving home. I got rear ended by a Honda Odyssey going 45mph. I was stopped to make a turn and the collision totaled my VW Jetta. It knocked me forward ~75ft. forward. I am now a victim of the Honda Bump.
#hondabump
I drive a Honda and I will be keeping even more space when I am behind a tesla
I was visiting Tel Aviv a few years ago and while driving my GF's little compact along the coast's hotel district in heavy traffic , setting first in line in the left most straight ahead lane with a couple of turning left lanes to my left , the light for the turning lanes turned green, ( my light stayed red) somebody behind us all honked and the guy directly behind me instinctively ( he was on his phone ) started up and just plowed into our car .....He was very nice about it and info was exchanged .......Now I wonder if he was driving a Honda ?
There is a very good chance. About 50% of accidents are caused by Honda's
Yes, I drive a Honda. I also have a friend who drives a Tesla. I've never #hondabump 'd anyone thanks to the fact that i have 6 a speed manual transmission. Though I still think these bumps are entertaining and serve a great purpose as learning material all together.
Not sure having manual transmission makes you immune from having an accident...
@AsianGrapeFruit
What Honda do you drive I have a CR-V, a Civic, a Prius (low-key I’m one of the safest Prius drivers), & a Model S Plaid
I drive a Honda crv and I don’t understand how these other Honda drivers get into crashes. Plus I’ve been rear ended, I used my brakes, so idk if they don’t know that there is another pedal down there🤷♂️
I LOVE #HONDABUMPS YOU Teached me about Teslas
I'm a huge car fan (also a tesla fan) but hey, I don't think criticizing an entire community of drivers, and a brand that creates some of the most economic cars on the road is the right cut. I like how you use #HondaBump in your videos BUT, you don't need to make separate videos to criticize them. After all, these are just ACCIDENTS, right? (No I'm not a Honda owner, I just want peace)
Finally, somebody with a brain
@f yep
@@3xceIIent Yeah I can live with that, the joke is getting old now, that's all I'm saying...
Yes
As a Honda driver, I want to believe I'm one of the safest. Of my five years of driving a Honda I haven't hit into anything, anyting. I have to admit though I have a aftermarket tailgating and Lane departure warning system installed. Can you drive a Tesla for five years without hitting into something, or something hitting into you? #YouCanWithAHonda
Don't get me wrong though, I love Teslas, just got to feel a little bad for the Hondas too.
Proud of you
As a Honda driver, I finally understand why many insurances quote such high rates. Watch out for other Honda drivers on the road!
bro you deserve so much subscribers and views
As a Honda driver who's terrified of crashing I find these videos hilarious
4:35 WHOA MAN!
me having a honda: YEAH HONDAS SUCK! 🤬
4:30 *LMAO*
You mean the most numerous car brand on the road is involved in the most accidents? That sounds weirdly like how averages and bell curves work....
@@AveragePicker I see you spend a lot of time asking sarcastic questions and making douchey statements on this channel so I’ll go ahead and not engage with a chump like yourself.
@@BigRockyD There was nothing to engage. It is just how averages work.
@@AveragePicker that's actually how probability works, not averages and normal distributions. Cars by manufacturer are absolutely not normally distributed since that's a categorical variable

As a Honda driver, i can´t help the urge to cause accident when i see tesla.
Had a coworker who still currently owns a Honda Accord. One day me and my other coworkers planned to see the baseball game. The Honda coworker picked me up to see the game and MAN! Speeding in heavy traffic, making last second stops, constantly on his phone to find songs. I thought we were going to see Jesus
I don’t even own a Tesla and I’ve been Honda bumped twice
6:33 - That chevy driver's maneuvers were very suspicious. That location seems like a prime spot for insurance fraud schemes.
The reason why the Hondas take forever to stop is because you really have to stomp on that pedal
I just ordered my Model 3 Performance, and I have my Honda fit. I will keep her too if Tesla's trade in offer isn't high enough for me.
both but the guy illegal driving in the lane would be 75% and the guy changing lanes 25%. In Ontario it is illegal to drive more than 200ft in a turning lane.
As a Honda Driver (I got into an accident where my 04 SLK 230 Mercedes was Totaled, and since my father upgraded to a 2020 Chevy Truck he gave me his Accord) it genuinely surprises me how crazy some drivers can be lmao. I even get a bit nervous when I see other Hondas around me on the Highway
Because most of them are immigrants Ubereats doordashers who are struggle to make more cents and time matters every coins.

For some reason it lloks liek most honda bumps are caused by honda's civic and accord drivers crash the most in tesla clips. (civic mostly)
