    ❤️About it?
    Cape Verde is an archipelago of ten volcanic islands, nine of which are inhabited, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, roughly 600 kilometers west of Senegal and off the coast of Africa.
    ☁️Weather
    The Cape Verde islands are a lovely tropical getaway because of their 24° to 30°C average annual temperature range. Travelers frequently return to Cape Verde because of the country’s prolonged, continuous sunny hours and low humidity levels. Additionally, several islands see more excellent waves between November and March due to stronger winds, which is especially advantageous for those who enjoy water sports.
    In today's video, we look at Cape Verde Getaway: What They Don't Want You to Know! Keep watching to discover the top things to do in Cape Verde's Sal Island and Boa Vista. Explore the islands on a Cape Verde tour, or enjoy the beautiful coastline with a catamaran cruise. Stay in style at Hotel Riu Palace Santa Maria Sal Cabo Verde, and visit Buracona Cape Verde to see stunning rock formations. Learn about Cape Verde's economy while touring Boa Vista, and plan your trip for the best experience. With gorgeous beaches and unique culture, Cape Verde is the perfect holiday destination.

    Cape Verde's strategic location at the crossroads of mid-Atlantic air and sea lanes has been enhanced by significant improvements at Mindelo's harbour.

    • @OfficialTravelGuide
      @OfficialTravelGuide  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's fascinating to learn about Cape Verde's strategic location at the crossroads of mid-Atlantic air and sea lanes, and how the improvements at Mindelo's harbour have enhanced this location further. Being situated at the intersection of major trade routes has historically played a significant role in shaping the economic and cultural development of many countries, and Cape Verde appears to be no exception.
      With the development of Mindelo's harbour, it's likely that Cape Verde is better positioned to take advantage of the opportunities that come with its strategic location. Improved infrastructure and transportation links can facilitate increased trade and commerce, which could potentially lead to economic growth and increased opportunities for the local population.
      Overall, it's encouraging to see that Cape Verde is taking steps to make the most of its strategic location and I look forward to seeing how this translates into future developments in the region.

    Just returned from 3 weeks Sal, what can I say, nice for once. The people are very friendly, the street dogs and sharks too. The negative points: a lot of pushy sellers on the beach and in Santa Maria. The quality of the food is quite mediocre, except for a few restaurants. Apart from the resorts, the island is a big ruin and visibly in great poverty. Snorkeling from the beach is practically pointless because you see nothing. I wouldn't have missed it, but it wouldn't be worth it a second time.

    • @OfficialTravelGuide
      @OfficialTravelGuide  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Thank you for sharing your honest feedback about your trip to Sal, Cape Verde. Your observations provide valuable insights for potential travelers considering a visit to the island.
      It's heartening to hear that you had positive experiences with the friendly locals. Warm hospitality can make a significant difference in a travel experience. However, it's unfortunate that you also encountered some challenges.
      The presence of pushy sellers can be a common experience in tourist areas, and it's important for visitors to set boundaries. It's also good to know that while there are great restaurants, the overall food quality might not meet expectations.
      Your observation about the island's economic situation and poverty is also significant. Tourism can have complex effects on local communities and economies, and understanding the local context is crucial.
      Finally, your note about snorkeling is important for anyone interested in exploring the underwater beauty of Sal. It's helpful to know that additional efforts or excursions might be needed to fully enjoy the island's marine life.
      Your balanced perspective will be valuable for others planning their trips to Cape Verde. Every travel experience is unique, and your insights contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of what to expect in Sal. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts! 🌊🏝️🍽️

    great video!! But some information is not entirely correct. Sal is the island that receives the most tourists thanks to the resorts and one of the most beautiful beaches, but compared to some other Cape Verde Islands it is not the most developed. Each Island is unique some are more dessert like and other more green and others with a city night life

      @@OfficialTravelGuide yes Cape Town in South Africa is a lovely city and country but you do realise it’s a completely different country to Cape Verde so I don’t see the relevance to in those shots in this video?

      @OfficialTravelGuide  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Cape Verde is actually pronounced "Cape Verd." The pronunciation can sometimes be a source of amusement, but it's a beautiful destination with much more to offer than just its name! If you have any questions or need information about Cape Verde, feel free to ask.

    I am 99% sure that the footage of Fogo Island starting at 3:42 is from Fogo Island in Newfoundland Canada. I have never been there but to me those images are Clearly from a totally different part of the world. And when I googled it did look a Lot like Fogo, Canada. Too much stock footage in this video and poor research.

    Thanks for the video. Just a remark on how you confuse Portuguese and Spanish... two different languages... close but not the same! Most of words you say are in Spanish are actually Portuguese. Anyway, thanks.

    It’s obvious that the one(s) who has made this video hasn’t been on Cape Verde, at least not on Fogo. There is another Fogo Island, in Newfoundland, where this footage is taken from. Do your homework..

    First of all Cape Verde is a Portuguese speaking country. Fogo isn’t a Spanish word. Fogo is the PORTUGUESE word for fire. What a beginner mistake.
