    At 18:14 you said QxB2 is a move but that will result in a checkmate if you go QxF7 with check. King has to move and you get checkmate by taking the rook at QxE8. Happily correct me if I see it wrong, I'm a beginner

      No it don’t work with op Q on f6 and king on f8 or g8, it’s defended sufficiently: QxF7, QxF7, bxF7 and KxF7………. White gave back two pieces, and Nelson said he wanted to keep his pieces.
      Which is why this doesn’t work. I looked at it myself, too, and found it not worthy of exchange/trades. Despite it not working, he still played with 83.4 accuracy.

      @@jonathancauley5345 Thanks for your answer but I just double checked it. My statement is correct and I think you understood wrong what I initially meant.
      Nelson said that the opponent could move to QxB2 trying to get the rock. And that's when my mentioned checkmate above from white can come in. But only if black makes this mistake and lets this pawn undefended by making that move QxB2.

    I love following your thought process when evaluating different moves. I've been watching your videos for a few months now and my puzzle ratings have gone up from 1300 to at one point 1800, to 1712 today. I'm only 1000-1100 rapid though. I struggle to apply the same quality of evaluation in game as in puzzles. At least in game I follow the checks, captures, attacks checklist, but I can't seem to quickly find the best move yet.

    In the last game, instead of directly capturing the black bishop Kxf2 you could have played Bg5! forcing Qe8+ and THEN Kxf2, threatening both Re1 and Be7, denying black any counter-play whatsoever. (It seemed like you also missed this in your after-game analysis even though the engine actually suggested it.)
    It has been a very enjoyable series so far, and quite educational to hear your motivations for your moves and pointing out the mistakes of your opponents!

      Насчёт того, что якобы "чем больше рейтинг, тем меньше эло дают за победу", это не так. И с рейтингом 1к и с рейтингом 2к тебе будут давать в среднем 8 эло за победу.
      Насчёт анализа - да, я сижу и анализирую свои игры, как и ты, и что?
      Так что в итоге мой комментарий в 2 раза логичнее твоего и в то, что через 800 игр у тебя будет 1600 эло, я верю в 2 раза меньше, чем в то, что через 2к игр я стану мастером.
      В конце концов, это просто шутка к комменту и если я тебя чем-то оскорбил, то забудь.

      @Foriendly ปีที่แล้ว

      @@H1st Да я это сразу понял но лень было искать видео что бы изменить комментарий. Хотел бы узнать именно рапид 10 минут и тратишь на анализ в среднем 10 минут и анализируешь выигранные партии. Всё анализируют свои игры, вопрос лишь как. Если больше 10 минут то ты прав. Если ты играешь не 10+0 тогда тут и сравнивать нечего, анализ 30 минутной или какой либо другой п
      партии и анализ 10 минутной отличаются ходами и сложностью. Если я в партии вижу новую позицию то я играю лучшие ходы в них и узнаю как в будущем играть эту позицию, трачу на это минут 40.

      A situation where you are having both your bishops while your opponent instead have two other minor pieces is generally considered an advantage for you, especially in open positions where the long range of the bishops can be put to good use, since the two bishops complement each other to cover and make threats on both black an white squares. The other side will often have weaknesses on squares of the color of the missing bishop.
