I'm gonna have to take all these old bikes I find out lying smashed up on the street home with me and t5ake them apart for Steel and other parts like those Cogs. They're very handy man.

Como concepto esta bien pero se ve que tiene mucho juego en broca cuando se va a perforar debido a la holgura en la carrilera donde esta montado el taladro, por decirle así. Solo seria cuestión de mejorar ese riel para eliminar ese juego que al momento de necesitar precisión en la posición de los agujeros cuenta. De resto buen trabajo.

This is an inaccurate machine and emits lot of noise,instead it could have been built using rubber timing belts avoiding the use of bike parts .

The skill of the inventor is commendable but a lot of time n energy wasted to make a drill press which could be made simpler by having a drill n using just wood materials for stand n lever for the press. There are other videos on using wood materials. You are fortunate to have all those tools for metal works. Your work is sophisticated but unnecessary.

L'idée est bonne avec les chaînes, le reste revois le correctement
Good video but somewhat deceptive talking bicycle parts. The chain and gear you use on the height adjustment are from a car engine, big block v8 double gear crankshaft gear and chain. Also, the motor is a car engine starter. The motor is controlled by a drive by wire control module from an electric scooter. And powered by 2 - 6 volt batteries combined to make 12. Starters require 200 plus amps to turn them. So that might drill 2 or 3 holes. So tell me, no means to charge those batteries was shown. Anyone attempting to build should delete the custom throttle, get a good 12v converter and install an on/off switch. WTF.

The chuck run-out is horrible, you never get a clean drilled hole close to the size you are drill with
I was thinking to write him this. He's smart, alright and he seems like he knows how to weld, but the chuck is off balance. If one looks carefully around 12:04 can see the big wheel is not Exactly centered and at 12:41 we clearly have the drill eccentric.
Agree, to loose in the track raising and lowering, and the table itself is a bit floppy, bit of tweaking and tightening could make it a whole lot more accurate.
