I have had planners and journals for years. 2025 is my first year with the Hobonichi cousin! I’m pretty excited about it! Thank you for always sharing!
This was a great walkthrough of your 2025 and gave me inspiration for my Hobo Weeks. I too plan to keep it on me at all times. Now I can feel free to use it as a true catch all for those pesky random notes and dates :)
I’m a faithful watcher of your videos. You are my inspiration. I’m a single late in age beginner crafter. So the way you share videos are very helpful. On another note, could you do a mock walk through on how you use your work planner. I used a half-letter planner this year and it didn’t work for me at all.
Thank you! So happy you enjoy my videos. I will think about if there is a way I could share my work planner that would be helpful, I feel like the way I use it might be too specific to my job, but I will add it to my list of video ideas + think about it. It might make more sense as an instagram post. Thanks for the idea!
for the month pages, the numbers are page number that is at the bottom. For quick referencing, you can turn to that page to find the week on the left side of the page.
I don’t have one myself but I believe I heard the numbers on the TAN monthly calendar corresponds to the page where the week is located in the main section of the planner. Hope that helps!
Love watching your planner videos even though I don’t do paper planning! I use my iCal and then keep a list book for my to-dos and notes and goals. I do have a 5-year line-a-day journal. I’m impressed you can keep up with them all!
Thank you! I would say a list book is a version of a paper planner. I don’t always keep up with them all perfectly, but I find that it really helps me feel more grounded when I do make time for them!
I love the stickers and decals you used! The way you shared how you are going to use each planner is super helpful. Maybe do a walkthrough of your actual setups? I often find those useful and inspirational for my own planners 😁
Thank you! I will likely share more of a walk-through in my monthly set up videos depending on when I start using each planner or monthly flip-throughs.
I really appreciate your sticker choices. Particularly your large ones. I am not one to buy them but, inspired by those you have, I went over to Mandy Ford and purchased many. Thank you for your balanced work, craft, home maintenance approach. I very much relate. I’m using a sneaker Weeks for the very same reason as an on the go, rapid log planner.
I hope the on the go weeks works for both of us! I’ve never tried a sneaker weeks, but one of my friends has one and it is cute in person. I used to be so picky about stickers + then I would hoard them forever, but lately I’ve been letting myself buy + use them more and it brings me so much joy! I hope you enjoy the ones you picked up. ❤️
Thank you! H&O makes beautiful journals, they didn’t work for me because they were just too thick, but they are great quality! Still, I hope you find something that works well for you, you still have plenty of time to figure it out. ❤️
I have a few friends that got the bad batch ones who have used hobonichi before and I saw the comparison, it’s a huge difference with the bleed. Certain pens that always worked on hobonichi before (like fudenosuke brush pens and fountain pens) you can’t use at all because they just bleed through instantly. The paper is definitely different in those books, much lesser quality. I’m sure some people could make it work, but I’m thankful I don’t have to worry about it or change my pen usage.
I’m using 6 planners too! 😅 I have previously only used a planner and multiple notebooks but found I need the structure of dates to help me keep things straight. I have a horrible memory so I’m using Hobonichi, Take A Note, PAL, Aera Estelle and Common planner! 🫣Also, one of my days off with enough time to enjoy your planner videos and I love your choices!
This has been the best 2025 Planner Lineup/Setup video I’ve watched and I’ve watched a ridiculous number of them!
Oh wow, that’s high praise! Thank you so much. ❤️
Haha me too!! I can't decide between a cousin or Avec

Ooh yay, I hope you love your first Hobonichi Cousin!!

Yes! I really think the weeks will be perfect for this.

Yes! I figured this out after staring at it a bunch, super helpful. Thanks!

Yes, that’s it! I finally figured it out, super helpful. Thank you!

I believe those numbers on the monthly view are the page numbers for the week. It’s quick reference. I don’t have one, so I can’t confirm.
yep, that's it. I have one for this year and it's exactly that - the page number that matches the weekly
Yes, that is it! I finally figured it out, super helpful. Thank you!

Thanks for posting! I’m still debating next years planners. Maybe H& O? Not sure about work 🤔

Lifelong migraines here until. Cut out gluten 100%. It’s a symptom that’s not as common. Good luck.
I don’t think that’s my issue because I’ve tried gluten free diets in the past. I’m happy you found what worked for you!
I'm so not sure what a "bad batch" means. I think it's been overblown by some novice users.

Thank you! Sounds like you have a fun line up planned for next year too. ❤️
