Back in the 90's, Christmas was more family oriented than buying the next gadget or using your credit card to buy gifts for yourself that mean nothing to you after you purchased them.
Watching the family hand out gifts really reminds me so much of my family in the 90s. God, I miss those times more than anything else in my life. I'd do anything to travel back in time to live it all over again.
Throughout your videos, one can appreciate your mom. She's a beautiful strong lady that kept her family together. You and I are about the same age, so she could have been my mom and a great one. One could be proud of a mom like yours.

Time sure flies! This was exactly one week after I gave birth to my son. I was a teen mom and those days were tough. Learned to be an adult at a young age but I did it. My son is turning 26 this year and will be graduating with his masters as a PA. Love watching all your videos. Brings back so many memories.

I was 2 years old when this was filmed. The first Christmas I can remember from childhood is 1997 when I was 3. Those were some awesome Christmases. Still believed in Santa back then. I got more presents because I was an only child til December 1998 lol

It's funny you say that because my original intent when I used to talk in the video like a vlogger was basically talking to my future self when I want to see my home movies in the years to come. That way I can remember was was in my mind during those moments! in other words like "guiding" my future self!

Even though my family still does big family Christmas it just isn't the same. I get told it's because everyone has their own life, and families now, but that didn't stop them back in the day when I was a kid. Times have just changed.
Woah I was born in San Berdoo and my gma lived in Fontana who I always visited and lived , we probably crossed paths back then. I went to Palmetto elementary in the 80s.

I have an old vhs tape with our baby Jesus posada on it that was recorded the same night as this lol and I was a year and a half old. Instead of waiting to the morning we would open our gifts at 12 am the 25th
