Terry from Christchurch New Zealand, I bought a komatsu d31s-17 track loader with 4in1 bucket last year for my motocross track only a baby but im so impressed with what they can get done, that's an awsome machine you got there fella.
How long did it take to clear the 4 acres? I have 3.5 acres to clear this weekend. It's a field that has about 4 years of growth with 3-6 inch pines scattered over ir. I'm wondering if I should rent a loader like this instead of the mini excavator.
The way they can find you is follow the path of destruction. At one time I wanted to get a 953 with a ripper and a 4-1 bucket. That was before excavators got so popular.

Definitely go with a loader, for it took roughly 8 hours to do this project
Thanks, I was going to ask the same question

I was wondering when you clear, what do you do with all the brush?
Typically we burn as much as possible, and bury the remaining stumps, preferably 3 to 4 feet minimum below the surface.
That looks satisfying. But leave some of the big trees.
That is starting to look like a big 4 acres.
The acreage may have shrunk, first it was 3,soon it grew to 4.
Looking more like 5 till it was completed lol
@@abramzimmerman9089 so lets see the completed.
I'll get a video in the morning when I pick up the machine.
