Happy New Year Heiko! Those are nice jigs. I think the one you were using in this episode was a bit too heavy for the setup and conditions. That will often make it harder to feel the fish on the weighted jig. It will also keep certain fish from swallowing the bait whole and they tend to pick at it instead. My idea for content would be to start bringing more people out fishing with you! Old, young, experienced anglers and sometimes just random subscribers. I'm not a TH-camr but I do this here on the West coast of Florisa. Sometimes I'll meet someone at the ramp that's just shore fishing and I'll make their day by bringing them along! One time I met someone in the local tackle shop and they turned out to be an awesome friend and taught me a lot of cool stuff about fishing and I thought I knew it all. Not! Regular Live streams and maybe a meetup this year would be cool! My favorite quote from this episode "I'm Like A Pelican!" TTYS --Micky
No never fail to crack me up! Hugs to you from Washington State. Thank you for your content, whether you catch a fish……or not. If you ever happen to travel out this way, I will find you someone to take you out fishing, crabbing,or digging clams..even geoducks!
I don't like your videos, but I rather luv it a lot. You are goofy fun and super informative and detail. Me and my wifey learning so much information from you and have some laughter's too. Happy New Year and be safe and make more entertaining and informative videos. We are so new in boating and fishing close by Port St. Lucie inlet. Can you put together a video with your experience and cost with your boat repair and maintenance. Your boat and motor just got refreshed. Your other video showed your troubles with your boat and motor. Some boaters like me are very enthusiastic in learning the cost of boat ownership and maintenance. Again be safe and always have lots of fun. More fishing tips too.
Happy New Year Heiko 🥂and Elliot🐈⬛. And Happy New Year to all of the SFFC subscribers. Wishing you all a healthy and prosperous 2024. Kudos on karma release 🐟 Hugs from Texas 🩷🤠🩷
Another great video. Use a blue crab trap off your dock. I’ve caught so many different things off a relative’s beach house. Blues, stones, hermits, flounder, remoras etc. The chum from the trap may also keep the bait by your dock.
I wanna see you catch fish like you did when I first started watching your channel in 2018, 2019. You did a lot patch reef fishing then and going off shore 😊
Happy 2024 Heiko ! Long time subscriber here. I'm a saltwater fisherman in SouthEast Texas and the only things I know about fishing in the Keys, I learned from you and Dan. I will watch all your videos to the end no matter what you catch (or get skunked)!! Looking forward to some great content this year.
There are two days every boat owner dreams of. The day they purchase the boat, and the day that they sell it! Happy New Year Heiko. Looking forward to your 2024 adventures!
Happy New Year Heiko. I'm another of your long-time viewers. Patch Reef is always good. I always love the spearfishing videos too. Having Dan along for the ride is always a plus, but mostly, I want to see you catch a swordfish in 2024! Best of luck to you bro, I can't wait to see your new content.
So nice to see you in a great frame of mind to start the new year with your boat running like a top! I'll be heading to Tavernier on the 12th for a few days of fishing. Best wishes, Heiko!
Get yourself a single decker blue crab trap to put off your dock. Blue crab traps still catch stone crabs, and do better in shallow water. Plus you’ll catch green pass crabs or blue crabs for bait.
That great brother! Glad it's all back to normal! Fuel lines was the same on my boat. Little 2in piece lol! Ide like to see you and Dan do a Cabrera Snapper trip in the north largo wreck this summer! Full moon! Glad you got the boat going! Let's Go!!!!
P.S. A bait pen at your dock is a great idea. Feed them good, let them grow! Sebiki the baits they last longer. You need a couple lights in the water on your dock too. Bait will stack up there every night, aswell as the snook, and tarpon. Tight lines brother!
Happy New Year! Great episode! Looking forward to seeing what kind of fun you get into! One of my goals this year is to fish more! And also fish with you!!! Keep slaying! 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Good to see you are back at it! I've always ben attracted to guys with longer hair. But seeing you with your hat off and wind whipping your hair full throttle made me feel free! Bring on the catch n cooks plzzz. I am enjoying your recipes & would love to see some cooking colabs. Take it easy, & if it's easy, take it twice lol. Cheers!
Great vid man I haven't gon out in two months 😢Winter in south Florida is when I work on my boat, trailer and truck to get ready for spring hey BTW you kinda only need to drop the anchor
I've been here for I think over three years I remember when u barely had 1000 subscribers me my kids and my wife always gave enjoyed watching your videos. My dad and myself comment on how your luck and the way you are is like us lol it's great keep up the good work
Can you do some bridge content fishing around Florida's biggest Bridges with your boat see what you could catch please and thank you ps love the videos in the content that you make as well keep it going
Bro! You need to put XD100 in that rude!!! Have it programmed for that oil. It’s sooo much better for those Evinrudes!!! I run a 250hp Rude on mine and that’s all I run. She purrs like a kitten!
Heiko your going to to need some more chain and anchor rope might look up the recommend for your depth and boat size. if my spelling is bad you should see my reading

Dude, I'm back on line. Tight lines, mate. Good Luck to ya! 😀
Super great ideas.
Bait corral 💪
Blessings and good hopes for this new year 🙏
I think those weighted hooks on the bottom situate your bait so it can be taken without being caught...

I’m with everyone else who recommended patch reef fishing trips. It’s what brought me to your channel years ago.
Congratulations man! Go for it! I hope you catch some big ole muttons!! Blue skys!!!
Hey man when you going to get them numbers on the side of your boat don't need any more tickets nice fish
I hope 2024 is going to be a great year for you I have good vibes for you. I sure do miss living down there but I was further down on Big Coppitt key.
That great brother! Glad it's all back to normal! Fuel lines was the same on my boat. Little 2in piece lol!

Look into chum for pilchards. Purina tropical fish food. Chum pilchards to your dock, castnet them and pen them up the day before you go fishing. 😉👌👍
I just subscribed to start watching your channel for the first time in 2024.
Such good vibes! ✌🏽🤙🏽
Pro tip...cut them pilchards into little slivers and downsize that hook and you'll catch a bunch of them little snapper.
Happy New Year !!!! Keys bound this Spring!!!!
Looking forward to your videos, especially for the next few months. You get my wife and I through the winter up here in Illinois. 👍🏻
Nice to see you back. Been watching for about 4 years. Do you have any snook around you? If so would love to see a snook video.
Happy New Year Heiko. We are in Marathon for the week lets go fishing😊
Wet the bumpers before backing the boat of the trailer. Will slide out easier. Do the same when putting the boat back into the trailer.
Happy New Year! Great episode! Looking forward to seeing what kind of fun you get into! One of my goals this year is to fish more! And also fish with you!!! Keep slaying! 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

27:43
Gotta love that Miami Vice stuff
Wishin ya the best in 2024!!!
Try some Liquid Roller on those trailer bunks. Boat will slide right off
I have a minn kota trolling motor on my boat and it works really well when anchoring. You should check it out.
Great video! Thanks for sharing.
Next time tie a loop in rop so that way you can unlaso it and drop the tailgate am only 5.6 so it definitely helps
Can you do some bridge content fishing around Florida's biggest Bridges with your boat see what you could catch please and thank you ps love the videos in the content that you make as well keep it going
Heiko, you're really missing out. You need to get a spot lock trolling motor. you'll never want to mess with an anchor again.
Some Kayaking up in the panhandle, never seen you fish our area
Happy new year!
Excellent señor!!!😊
2024 I want to see you slay a swordfish. Happy new year brother
Patch reef is always a good time and at least 1 time Bahamas trip.
The engine sound great brother
Big kingfish are at 90ft which is just a mile SE from you.
Actually thought you were going to break something jumping into boat with hatches wide open😂
At least your good at feeding fish hope you have a good year
Dude! You seriously need a trolling motor with anchor function. You’ll never throw an anchor again except at the sand bar. Nice video! Tight lines!
Bro! You need to put XD100 in that rude!!! Have it programmed for that oil. It’s sooo much better for those Evinrudes!!! I run a 250hp Rude on mine and that’s all I run. She purrs like a kitten!
Great content!
Heiko your going to to need some more chain and anchor rope might look up the recommend for your depth and boat size. if my spelling is bad you should see my reading
Dude, we've in in key largo since 89. I think we are neighbors. For real
You got one, not skunked! Congrats Yeehaw
Bro your awsome.. I'm gonna try go down to key largo soon
Love the release. Good start of the new year. I thought we were the only guys that this shit happen s to
Can you target sails?
I'd love to hear more about your evinrude outboard. How have you liked it so far? I see a lot of loud people online that were not happy with theirs.
That's why i fish with Circle Hooks, the fish will hook themselves 90 percent of the time
I really enjoy your fishing
Probably should have started 2024 with an underwater camera for that million dollar bait fish intro 😉😎
Wish this would turn back into a fishing channel
36v trolling motor anchor anywhere in the ocean. Maybe with the new boat.
