Shubham Chand ने इस साल Bank SBI PO exam में Top किया है. एक दिशाहीन student से SBI Bank PO बनने तक का सफर Shubham के लिए आसान नहीं था. पर उन्होनें हिम्मत ना हारते हुए अपनी नज़र सिर्फ लक्ष्य पर रखी.
Shubham ने engineering करने के बाद जॉब करना शुरु किया. पर थोड़े समय बाद ही अपनी जॉब से नाखुश होकर उन्होनें banking exam की तैयारी करने का निर्णय लिया. Bank exam की तैयारी करते वक्त उन्हें कई challenges और failures का सामना करना पड़ा, पर हर challenge को पार करते हुए उन्होनें SBI Bank PO का exam crack किया.

We are all directionless and confused about our career at some point of time in life. However, people who try to look beyond the clouds of confusion achieve their goal in life and create their success story.
Shubham was one such directionless youth. He started his academic career by pursuing engineering. But after doing engineering, Shubham was jobless and confused about his career. However after 6 months he found a job in an MNC. He was unhappy with his job and decided to prepare for Bank PO exam. This decision was tough for him but he was resolved to achieve his dream. He started preparing for the exam while doing a job.
After failing in many attempts, he didn’t lose his hope and cleared the exam. Today he is working as Probationary Officer in State Bank of India.

banking is the only govt job where you get a decent amount of salary and also syllabus is limited as compared to ssc and other govt jobs...and vacancy also comes in mass every year so banking became the dream job for many of us.

SBI PO is a very easy exam( all you need to do is clear Pre and have alright Concepts for mains with good GA) but the thing is you have to only prepare for banking exam, don't prepare for UPSC/SSC along with banking and it can be cleared in 6-7 months

Personally speaking At advice level I took only from 2 people. One shubham sir coz he topped bank exams and sets out his strategy on how he cleared it. I am not advising to copy him but understand his strategy and make a tailor made strategy for yourself coz everybody has their own strengths and weaknesses. Second advice was from Anil Agarwal sir coz his vast experience counts a lot.

Stop saying things like Engineers/BA/BCOM student. Just try to focus on the things that can change the way of your preparation. Everyone is gifted with a unique talent. @renuka renuka I am from Odisha and I had studied in an (government) Odia medium school. Tell me your medium. First thing to keep in mind that English is a language not a subject. So learn it as u learn any language. Buy a Translation book (8-10th standard) revise it as many times as you can. Read essay and try to summarize it in youe own words. But in order to summarize you need to know whether u r right or wrong while writing it in English. Dont just cram /memorize grammar rules . It's a language not Trigonometry where u cram formulae. Hope it helps.
@renuka renuka Comprehension is the game changer. Reading speed and how quickly one can understand matters the most. Daily reading is important. Grammar topics like CONDITIOAL CLAUSE, PASSIVE(speech change), subject to verb agreement, articles, etc should be thoroughly practised. Understanding connectors in sentence rearrangement is a crucial task to do. You can watch videos of Nimisha Bansal on grammar rules. All the best.
@renuka renuka I didn't understand. You said high level. Can you explain what section you are talking about ?(RC/error/jumble or any other you say)
@renuka renuka English is a peculiar language especially if you think about the words. We have to understand that cramming a dictionary is not an easy task and not needed indeed. Just go through the previous year papers. Follow vocab classes/notes and vocab apps. Write sentences and try to use that word in a pair. Example- Bizarre sounds like Bajaar(market in hindi. When we go to bajaar we see new things, different things some of them are not common. So in that way i can remember the meaning of the word. Find English words that can rhyme with your words and remember with an explanation.
Next example is pair. In order to remember 'cute' you can remember 'cute cat'. Whenever you read cute it must create a picture of cat in your mind. Pairs help a lot while remembering words.
And the next best thing to do is- try to divide in chunks. Like 5 words per day. Then next day revise those 5 words and learn 5 new words. Next day revide those 10 words and learn new 5 words. You can easily remember at least 150-200 words per month. Trust me after 6 months you'll be a walking dictionary. Hehe. Jokes apart. This helps a lot.
Don't start reading newspaper as a task or burden to improve reading skills/ Comprehension skills. Start with some thing you like the most like short funny stories. Try to watch movies/ cartoon continuously for 3-4 days. It will give a signal to the brain to think and comprehend better. It's a language. Nobody is a champion. Everyone is still learning. Words are being made each year. So don't feel embarrassed. Just go with the flow. Try reading speed apps. Plenty of them are available. Thank you for your kind words. And all the best.
