    Thank you for doing this video, Chief Vera. As you’re hearing from many Nigerians, we need to move away from asking foreigners what they think of Nigeria(ns). If we’re looking for ppl to ask let’s ask Nigerian diasporans what they think of Nigeria and how we (diasporans) can help to improve our country.
    There’s nothing “oyibo” can do for us. We are 90% responsible for our country’s image. From the way we treat each other to the way we talk and conduct ourselves. I’m sure she’s a very nice lady but in general our ppl (Africans) put too much value in the opinion of outsiders.

      1. How is life without Karaoke, cheap pork and dumplings?
      2. How are they affected by the new policies restricting the movement of money outside of Nigeria?
      3. Do they see Nigeria as a place they would stay forever? (Or at least long-term)
      4. What do they think about the way they are treated in Nigeria, compared to the way Chinese treat Nigerians in China? (tough question but I think there's a way to make it land softly, especially with your special soft-speaking skills ;)
      5. Do they think the racial/cultural barrier between the Chinese and the Africans can ever be broken? If Yes, how?
      6. Have they lived in other African countries prior to Nigeria?
      6.a (If yes) Which African country do they like most and why?
      6.b What do they think Nigerians could do at a community level to make the environment more appealing to Chinese?

We have managed to maintain most of the culture and fused them together since we are of different tribes. I’m very fond of Igbos and the culture. Anywhere in Nigeria is safe for foreigners especially ones that don't have melanin for some reason and then our people wonder how we got colonialism still happening till this day...true or definitely true?

    • @blessedAfrikan217
      @blessedAfrikan217 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      So true. As blacks some of us worshipped white skin. Some of us even still thinks that God is a white man, even this they were the ones that enslaved our people and are still oppressing us today. Some of us ditch our true languages for the colonizers English language and bleaching our skin to look like them. Then we wonder why they see us as less than and inferior. It's like we don't have an identity of our own. Selfhate.

    • @LinusAkali
      @LinusAkali 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I wonder if Whites can interview us this way in their land. When they speak a sentence or little of our language we go into ecstasy, when our people here speak their languages fluently without any appreciation

    • @LinusAkali
      @LinusAkali 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3
