GREAT videos from Penny Steam. Always great quality, superb long, uninterrupted shots. Good quality, pure original sound. No inappropriate, unwanted, nauseating, typical TH-cam Boom, Bang-a-bang SO-CALLED "music" to spoil completely whatever one tries to watch, on so many channels.
AND . . . no insitance that we subscribe and like. With videos this good, I do anyway - I don't NEED to be told.
This channel's videos are among the best on TH-cam. Congratulations and THANKS. Here's hoping for many more, please, if and when we return to anything approaching some sort of "normality".
Oh - and love your dog. Obviously a train lover.

Talyllyn looks like a lovely place to visit. The locomotives are all unique and have a lot of history to them, the line runs through incredible scenery, and Dolgoch looks like a great little halt.

Beautiful video, perhaps the best ever of the Talyllyn. Keep up the good work.

Boris Johns , Penny was always very good, I could ask her to stay at a ant spot and she would till I gave her the signal to move, and nether needed a lead, lucky is learning now but it will be a while before he is ready to do anything like this without a lead.

I like the slow pace of this video. I used to volunteer on the footplate (or more often under it) many years ago.

      Ah!
I'm curious, is Dolgoch's water tank just in front of the firebox, or does it go under the ashpan?

capture the atmosphere of the line perfectly. Just a pity about that horrible plastic face on Duncan/Douglas, isn't it.

I'm a fan of Awdry's books, but I'd much rather have 'Douglas' as is. Especially since the loco sounds so nice.
Besides, Duncan was always the angry one in the stories.

You've been busy this year in Wales! I have lived in Anglesey for 10 years now and the only railway I have used is the Welsh Highland Railway! Good to see the little trains still at work. I believe the Llanberis Lake Railway is a pretty one. Might be worth a visit next year?

Bo Barlow Duke was based on "Prince" from the Ffestiniog Railway, which is a 2ft gauge line.
Fearless Freddie's basis is also from the Ffestiniog Railway.
