I was actually impressed to see Artur pinning Adam in the first round kinda fast. I mean Makarov is very strong but the weight difference between the 2 seemed too much (and it was in the end).
This time they're about 9-10kg apart, and it somehow affect the way people look at the match like you said. Adam did super well regardless but again this time he's bigger/heavier than his opponent. He stepped down from heavier category each time he shows up but somehow his opponent still stay on the lighter division. I guess can't blame Adam because there's a weight cap and Makarov chose to not reach the max weight, his decision.
@@3enjaminwell, Makarov is amyway from different weight class. This match means that Adam is stronger, but doesnt tell us anything new about Artur's position in his weightclass

good win for adam, but i really dislike these 10kg difference fights (if they aren't super heavyweights). even if these guys are world champs, 10kgs especially at lightweight/middleweight makes a huge difference.
a better matchup would be against samushia/dobrin/plamen/talgat/tautiev/k. zoloev/hristov etc. this would be a better reflection of what level/ability adam is in the world of arm wrestling at 85-90kg

You are right, and Engin is of course aware of that. The issue was that Makarov was supposed to pull at this event, but Engin could not find a good enough opponent at his weight (most elite europeans are going to WAF World championship, and there is no one in west strong enough to pull Makarov at the same weight), so he chose someone bigger.
It s 100% much more than 10kg ( Adam was 90+ kg when he pulled Bozhidar and he looked even smaller than this version)

Engin this match was awsome. Prudnik and Davits match was awsome and obviously Devon and Ermes was incredible but after them 2 this match with Adam was my favorite. Adam is a awsome and intense and entertaining puller. Like when you have Adam on the card

The thing for Adam is to fight smaller guys in order for him not to be embarrased like he was with Bacho (a guy his category). I don't like the settle at all. This does not deny Adam's power by the way.

That's not true. The guys a former champion and in no way lacking in experience. He's 20lbs lighter and outmatched.

The last time he went into a hook with a legit 85 kg guy (Samushia), he got folded in less than a second, while Artur was able to actually resist Adam in a hook for a time. I can see him beating Artur, but it won’t be by overpowering him in a hook, it’ll be by open toprolling and hoping Artur’s hand blows up. Hell, Artur’s explosivity could run through Daniel like Nurdaulet did.
