A Painful visit to IDPs Camp in Benue State

- Thousands of Tiv people from Benue state are internally displaced persons (IDPs) who are sent away from their homes and farms by killer #herdsmen and forced to stay in unhealthy unsafe IDPs Camps scattered around the state.
Tiv Youth Square took a walk to one of the camps and also met with Mr. Barnabas Nyitor who is also living in the camps for the past 6 years and now contesting the State house of Assembly seat in the 2023 elections coming up on 18th March 2023
Hon. Barnabas is contesting under the platform of African Action Congress (AAC), the 'Take it Back' movement to fight for his people to go back to their ancestral homes.

Most interesting efforts in investigating the living conditions of internally displaced family, due to insurgency, and insecurity. Your work has really shed light on the prospects of contributing towards assisting everyone in rebuilding their lives from the private sector. And we have TIV commander who is heading TIV Nation and he can't speak on behalf TIV so WHO is our leaders in Benue State no Body even government nobody even we our self nobody to ask our government in Benue State questions
