I think lying rewires your brain little by little, you lie more and more. It becomes normal. I was a lier, I noticed the more I lied and got away with it the more I was willing to lie the next time. Now when I lie I tell the truth straight away and say that i was lying, even if it was just embelishing the truth i tell on myself. I think it helped me
From my own experience of being a bad person, I was in such a lonely situation that the idea of empathy never entered my mind. I was too focused on myself and how to feed the hole of loneliness. Everything I did was to either get attention or entertain my sick head. I didn’t get this deep and elaborate with my coping but I can imagine that each of these lies was a way for her to insulate herself in this little world she’s come to enjoy. You can tell from how she talks that she’s very detached and it probably speaks to how long she’s been doing this. She really needs help and a way for her to come back to the real world. I hope this helps explain a little bit about the mind of the crazies.. the actions are definitely horrible and wrong. Understanding the reasoning behind the behavior doesn’t justify them either. It’s just a messed up situation.
Think a lot of women are told what they want to hear therefore that may have a factor into it as well. But I’d like to know how this all got started for her for her, she’s got so many loose wires in her head, who knows if she’ll be able to make friends any more. Like a update on her.

Emulating or making up a fake shooting or gun violence incident is also unforgivable, especially for those who have lost friends and loved ones to gun violence or even know someone close to them who have. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy or arch nemesis.
I recently lost a family friend who recently lost her battle to stage 4 cancer and it still breaks my heart she is no longer with us. But what really is disturbing is that someone would have the audacity to fake such a catastrophic illness and make a mockery of it. Then have the gall to show their face on TV, of all places!

I also have many cancer survivors in my family, lost several relatives to this catastrophic disease and complications of other chronic medical conditions such as, but no limited to, kidney failure, cardiac problems, diabetes, and the list goes on. I lost my maternal grandma 16 years ago, during my senior year of high school, to small cell lung cancer and although she is no longer physically here, she lives on in my family's hearts. I don't know how people like that could be able to sleep at night or feel no guilt for doing something so vile such as faking chronic medical conditions like cancer. I heard she's in prison and maybe her time in prison will turn her around. But sadly people like that who've done prison time don't change after that.

Stage 4 cancer you really don’t have that much time to live. How in the world you can ride 100 miles on a bicycle. Unbelievable. People do things to get attention just to have pity on them. My grandmother had breast cancer and how dare she pretends that she has cancer.
some people with stage 4 cancer don’t have debilitating symptoms until the last second/until they pass away. the woman probably offered to help sarah because she was sick but it’s possible to bike and have cancer.
Cancer can hit people in a lot of strange ways. My uncle was totally fine and lifting weights until one day when he started pooing blood. He died a month later if cancer.

Things have changed. People always used to tell stories of their girlfriend that goes to another school because there was no way to disprove it. The internet makes it much harder to make things up and keep the lie going.
I have an aunt that faked cancer when she was very young. She was maybe 19-22 years old at the time. One day she shaved her head and put dark make up on her face to look sick and started telling people she had cancer. After a while she stopped doing it. I have no idea how long she faked it but it was about a year if not longer. Some people believed her some people didn't, nobody in the family believed her because they knew better and knew she constantly made up lies like that... My time frames and her age might be a little off. She's well into her 60's and still either blows things out of proportion, completely makes things up that didn't happen or wasn't said, or tells half truths. She's been like that her whole life and she's been institutionalized a few times and it doesn't stop her from lying or doing what she does.
Yea,just recently I had a old friend who was/is very mentally ill,she was diagnosed w/antisocial personality disorder& a couple other issue...so needless to say she only cared about herself and what you could do for her,,so I stopped talking to her,years and years pass and she reached out to me,claiming she might have cancer,is probley dying and she just wanted to thank me,blah,blah,blah....but I just dont believe anything she says...oh and she's on Facebook telling people she has lupus..its always something but when I ask more questions,,,u get no real.information...she's a con artist...im glad I left her in my past..i mean she could really be sick but I dont believe it

Battling stage 4 terminal cancer and participating in a triathlon just doesn't add up because if she really did have cancer then she wouldn't have been able to participate in something so physically demanding due to the side effects of chemotherapy 🤔
Yeah but I wouldn't be able to be rude enough to say anything. If somebody says they are battling cancer you try to be supportive and that is exactly why it is one of the easiest lies. Nobody wants to question that.

Whenever he would call her out directly and say "this isn't real" she would confess, but when he gives her a chance like asking her the question "do you have breast cancer?" she says "yes". I am wondering why that is. thoughts? Edit: might be bc if she didn't have breast cancer and confessed to that she would look even worse than she already did.

This woman is beyond creepy. The podcast Sympathy Pains talks to Liz, Bethany and others going back to 04! With Liz she said she was flight attendant and would drive around for a few hours and say her flight was canceled. Then go back to their house for a day or two. Even after Brian told her she couldn't come for a weekend because they were having family visit. She showed up anyway. Brian was p*$$ed off

I mean, good lord, become a stripper… start an Only Fans… join a club… volunteer… get on a dating app… travel. You could literally book a round trip ticket to Vegas (for the record, very affordably), a hotel for 3 nights & be ANYONE YOU WANT. Change your name, dress up, go to the bar, go dancing, see a show, bring an attractive dude from the casino back to your hotel room lol… do whatever you want. The line is drawn when you’re manipulating people in this manner, at a whole other level and emotionally extorting them… it’s just so tacky & awful. These women are disgusting.

A girl I use to work with said she has cancer and had a head full of hair bc she has a stylist who inserted them one by one in her scalp
