Let’s bath Ethel before she has her baby! (She ended up having it 10 hours later)

- We thought we would take advantage of a warm day to give Ethel good and clean for her upcoming labor, BUT she decided we were JUST in time and had the foal that night!
He is currently in the hospital, and in need of prayers!🙏🏼

I love watching her stick her tongue out, it's like she's posing for the video and then sticks her tongue out at the photographer 😊, I love watching the videos I grew up with horses while I was growing up and now that I don't anymore this keeps me connected.
My horse is in her early 300 and this is my first baby experience ever, your videos have helped me tremendously to get prepared for everything and the unexpected. Prayers for Baby Patrick and Ethel because I am sure she is ready to be back home as well. Thanks for all your great content, even though I have walking horses I still learn a lot from you and I am in TN as well!!!❤❤❤❤

I'm sorry about Ethel's foal. I hadn't known that Ethel lost her foal. I guess that must be in another video. It's very hard when you lose a foal. So it's very understandable how each foal is a blessing yet the loss of even one is very sad for both the owners and the parent mare as well. Wishing the best to you and yours!

If you follow her TikTok or instagram she’s updated regularly on there about him. He had badly contracted front legs at first and now he’s lost muscle tone and struggling to get standing.

When do you plan on bringing VS Code Red to your farm? I would have thought you would bring him to your place as soon as possible. That must have been very upsetting to the original owners of VS Code Red to part with their Stallions and mares no matter the price. It's like their goals and dreams. Your parents are breeders as well so I'm sure they can appreciate the breeding of VS Code Red. I know you are very appreciative of their efforts in taking their former Stallion to his level of showing and performance. The best to you and yours!

Every time I see Ethel with her tongue sticking out, I think of this little saying we have here: “Tong uitsteek is soentjies vra” which translates to you asking for kisses when you stick your tongue out 😊

We used suave alllll the time! We didn't even water it down 😂
Here is a trick that makes it where they don't roll after you give them a bath you get a bucket warm water in it I'm about a half a cup vinegar apple cider vinegar import over there back what it does is help take all of the excess soap and itchy off of their body so they do not want to roll it works great

Beyonce tends to be super fast. She much so that they almost never catch her giving birth. So there's only like a VERY short Beyonce vid while Ethel's is a bit longer.
