"Why is fishing more productive than farming?" Well, to get to food from a farm, you need to harvest, thresh, and grind the grain. Then you can make bread. To get food from a lake, you catch a fish, gut it, and you're good to go.
or he probably can get more food if he builds the other farming building. getting the grain is stage one. he is missing the mill and backery.
He means mechanically, since in games a more productive reward ought to mean more effort should be put in, but it's basically the same amount of work needed to capture either tile yet one tile is more productive than the other.
Fish are dense and profound nutrients.
I like how Splat says he covered the game last year and I was like, wait, wasn't that like 2 months ago heh. Anyway, glad to see it's finally available.
The incremental building looks so good, like some big Lego blocks.
Windmill will increase the production of your wheat, best part is if you place the wheat farm near 2 other border plots you can have 3 windmills per farm and really pump out wheat.
Must be interesting living with a TH-camr. Hearing strange noises and singing from the home office.
I enjoyed Besieged so I think I’ll like this. I like that they are sticking with the theme using the prefix ‘Be’

I think this game has a lot going for it already, its aesthetic of course but some design elements as well, walls or resurrecting lost units for instance. I wishlisted back on the first coverage, so glad to see it's out and you did a new vid on it, good times.

have you ever played castle story? its a little derpy but in a fun way and it is a castle building defense game which is really fun. it is a bit older but still worth covering.

I told the dev of Off World Trading Company the only reason I was playing the game was for the building animations - and I wasn't lying. I cheated in all the resources while playing :3

Becastled - Putting large towers and forts on the butt of your jeans or stitching them into your jacket.
Art direction is all over the place with this game
gotta capture a zone to be able to harvest the wood. That seems to be the most important resource i nthe very beginning...can't ever have enough wood...also...use den's to defend that side in the beginning. a large wolf will show up eventually, but they will continue to spawn as logn as the den is still there. I've played the demo since you palyed it last and only becuase you peeked my interest... Keep it up S.C.! I always enjoy watching, and i would like to see you do a play through...maybe a mini series?
Edit* - placing the mine/ woddcutting hut/ sun harvesst hut, to cut down on walking time, you can place the mine on the proper side so that the walkign distance is cut in half(roughly). Placing the woodcutting hut in them iddle of a to nof trees helps with the harvesting so they don't have to travel as far. if you happen to have enough to build another mine or sun stone hut, payy attention to where the sun people are minign from...destroy then build a second one and make sure its facing the entrance/mining/sun harvest spot. also, Ive been playing with an idea of expanding my border and then using an open wall to draw enemies into where there's no wall...it doesn't work on ranged units sadly, but melee units will go around to where there's no wall while ranged will attack anything I think.
It’s not trees, you spend population to make military reducing your happiness hit. You need increase attractiveness to increase happiness and balance that with maximum population. It takes time to get back villagers after converting some to military so thats the temporary moments you had 0 happiness from negative.

I've never been to a Medieval Times.
It’s modular building, but it looks very nice and satisfying. Sorry it’s a bit of a pet peeve of mine with game design terminology.
Pretty much when pieces snap like that it’s modular because each piece is a module. Incremental would be like if you line up multiple and walk away and each one is built from the ground up with probably no animation.
