That’s because they have a special training in say vowels practice. Either in acting or singing one word get slur in the tongue twister test they’ll have point deducted. My mom also a Chinese opera singer. Singing is speaking through music. Make sure each word is clear so it won’t combine into the music.

I’ve seen her in this role in LA opera, she was indeed amazing. I also had the pleasure of seeing her sing with Diana Damrau on the same stage in Tales of Hoffman, I have to say Ms. Park stole the show.

What an amazing voice. I had the incredibly good fortune of hearing Ms Park sing this aria live in 2019. I immediately bought tickets for her upcoming performance at The Metropolitan Opera on January 4, 2020, even though I live in the Bay Area. Unfortunately, she fell ill and had to cancel. I still hope to see her perform this aria again some day.
I am no opera expert, I just know this gave me actual chills and goosebumps. Beyond the amazing vocals, the acting is just a-ma-zing. What a performance. Bravo !
