The fight pacing really did take a hit when the DMR came on the scene in ranked. The BR has its issues but I much prefer the ttk of it over the bandit, it feels like fights are now just people spam firing at each other while jiggling and it's a shame that we're probably gonna be stuck with this meta for a long time.
If they just fixed movement acceleration this could make strafing an actual action you have to think about. Rather than hitting the wiggles in and out of cover, and still winning a gun fight. Plus a rate of fire nerf is deeply needed for the Bandit it’s TTK needs to be closer to the BR if not exact.
My only problem with nades is that the frags seem like they're heat-seeking. I vaguely remember at launch people said 343 had turned some "magnetism" on for frags- in no other Halo have I experienced frag grenades bouncing 17 times directly to my location quite like in Infinite.
Dead ass was thinking this. I haven't played the game in forever and played yesterday and felt like grenades were bouncing towards me no matter what. I don't like grenades in this game at all. They are nothing like other grenades from other halos.
Gotta love when u see the enemy throw a grenade wirh a line drive trajectory as it goes to either side of u then u hear it hissing and holy shit it blows up right on u. Or it line drives right at ur chest bounces but explodes instantly. Meanwhile I'm throwing plasmas thru players, occasionally a frag will go thru the map, n my favorite bouncing frags perfectly at a cracked player and he isn't effected smh.
Yea, the nades blast has been rediculously big lately. I'm not getting audio cues as much, too. 343 did some adjusting there and I just blow up random by nades, now
lucid is one of my two favorite players, only thing i don’t like is every video he constantly is complaining about the other team or the play style of the game.
They need to buff the BR so that it's a useful weapon to pick up, or switch which weapons are the starting weapons. Also i found that i can 5 shot with the bandit 40-60% of the time, but 4 shotting with the BR is like 5-8% of the time. Maybe i just need to git gud, but the BR seems to have terrible unscoped red reticle range , and the bandit just is laser accurate at long range descoped. In theory the BR *should* be the better long range weapon because of the deeper scope and longer red reticle range, but once you're descoped mid burst your bullets go into left field while the bandit keeps laying down accurate fire. I would prefer to not nerf the bandit because it feels fun, but improving the BR so it's as good as the Bandit is sorely needed.
I get the silent grenade frustration 😂 getting legit outgunned doesn't feel the same as getting blown up by a silent fucking grenade or some laggy ass around the corner bullets
It’s not going to get patched and it shouldn’t. But what should happen is that you shouldn’t be able to carry 2 of each grenade but one of each grenade

they stick to players sometimes if you strike them directly.
