Of all the videos I've watched of yours. this one touched me deeply and personally... it resonated in a way which will impact my free motion art quilting going forward. Thank you QUILTING NERD for this incredible gift.
Dear Kathryn, Thank you for this feedback. I know what you mean. Life can be overwhelming. I have a full time job, familiy, hobbies. I made my life difficult by being perfecionist. Quilting helped me to get rid of toxic habits: I started accepting my mistakes as lessons, I learned to accept compliments, I learned to recognize my progress as a result of work and not of luck....And it is slow, I can start thinking again, sorting the laud "truths" from my quiet ones. In a way being a quilter makes me a rebel 😉I will try to provide more. Sending hugs! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yes, I was out like a light. So very soothing to watch..I want to get back to mine soon, miss it. Still not quite healed from this persistent cough, but I'll get there!
Hi Robin, The mojo is back for now. It is all about getting into the rythm again. And such fluctuation in creativity are normal. I missed making such projects. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I was a bit out of rythm, as I focused on finishing some of the projects. And sometimes the wrok load and stress level is impacting my creativity. It was good to let go and just quilt. You are right. Life is rough on many people in many parts of the world. Not always, we can help directly, but we can help where we can. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I really enjoy watching your videos right before bedtime. It relaxes me and also maybe helps me think about relaxed free motion quilting while I sleep!
Thank you for your feedback. I love such comments. The best ones are about lowering the blood pressure and falling asleep in the middle of the video 😉. Rewatch as needed ! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for your feedback! I will do my best. Sometimes my free time is limited but I love quilting and I am so happy I have this community here to share it with. ❤️❤️❤️
Your guess is correct. We had this discussion during my last quilting class. With time your hands know where they where. it is all about muscle memmory. ❤️❤️❤️
Hi! I have a Janome M7, before that a Horizon model, worked great. I do not have a stich length defined. I do not use a stich regulator. I set my speed to middle range and move my fabric at slow rate. Works very good for me. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I also love this shade of green fabric! It definitely soothes!
Thank you! Green is sometimes difficult to film but it worked good this time ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I love this improv style of quilting, but am particularly fascinated with the design you worked between 26:04 - 27:20.
