I've noticed in my market that there's been an influx of Middle Eastern gentlemen dashing lately. They always come into the restaurant talking on the phone and don't know any English, then they shove the phone in the workers face then go back to talking on the phone. It's just not one guy either. I've probably seen 15 different guys, and they are all always talking to someone on the phone.

I had a crappy day on Wednesday in Gresham. I do believe that they throttle drivers, but not to share the orders. I think they do it to keep you on the clock longer.
Paying someone $8.75 to deliver one 8oz container of cream cheese is literal insanity.
I had one of these yesterday for an a&w freeze. I actually said to the man you must really have a hankering for this. 😂

I learned that Monday to Wednesday in my market gets very slow.

EBT locked means too many drivers doing EBT they don’t need anymore

My market is flooded with orders but all of them are non tippers

I had a $7 Walgreens order for two items. All base pay. I have had at least one order a day with zero tip. It’s just plain rude. Those are the people who say hand it to me, smile and know they didn’t tip you.
Orders have been pretty good I am in the Greenville SC market. Heavy on the shop n pay. Which I don’t mind usually. Unless people start calling you and telling you how they are waiting on you for them to eat dinner. I explained that DD combines order and also sets the routes. I told them they were free to file their complaint they said they said they wanted to file. It would have been quicker and cheaper for them to drive down to the local Mexican restaurant to eat. They would have been happier. 😂

It’s crazy some customers expect so much from these apps. With all the fees it would be the same to just order spaghetti from a restaurant 🤷🏻♂️

Today was my first time multi apping. It went well. My earn by time sometimes is not available certain times too. I know in peak pay areas i could not earn by time. Plus i was forced to do shop and pay orders to.

A lot of dashers don’t but for me it really helps cut down the miles and increases my pay. Can do $8-$12 5 item shops as quick as waiting on a $6 restaurant order to be ready.

Hey Charlie, I hate to burst your bubble but pennies haven't been completely made of copper since I was a kid (early 80s). Today they're primarily made of zinc with copper plating. So even if DD could squeeze the copper out of them I doubt there'd be enough to make a dozen sets of copper wire out of all the pennies made today. Zinc maybe (if its made into wire), but not copper...

Would you be happy to drive 10 miles for $2? Me neither, that's why I decline crap like that. We "whine" because we are sick of declining crap orders like that. They shouldn't even be allowed, but that's my opinion. It's mentally draining to decline crap after crap after crap.

I swear one day when i was newer to dashing i went into target didn't know you could pause. I was sent 5 different orders to add on. I was so upset because i was struggling with my original order. I just kept declining. It made me hate shop and delivers. But now i know how to pause.
