- It's that time of year- it's spring, it's beautiful out, everything is blooming....and I can't breathe. For those of us with seasonal allergies springtime is a mixed bag of wonderful weather and stuffy noses, and this can affect our piercings as well! Nostril and septum piercings in particular can become irritated and angry during allergy season. Hopefully this video helps you understand and prepare for dealing with that!

Can you make a video on how to test yourself for metal allergies before determining what piercing to get?
Nashville is the worst in terms of allergies. I grew up in the area and lived east of the plateau for a year then moved back, and my allergies are kicking my ass this year.
Nashville allergies absolutely wrecked me when I lived there. The north east is also pretty bad but I think Nashville is still the worst I’ve had!
tmi warning. Guilty pleasure of mine is taking out my septum stack rings during the peak of allergy season and switching them into a tunnel plug. Where the guilty pleasure comes in, is when u get to grab a toothpick and poke/dig out the build up dried muck from inside the tunnel......

yep!! I heavily mask in the spring on & it's helped me so much the last few springs. wish I did it when I was a kid!!
I'm so thankful my allergies dont mess with my nose piercings! But the first year with them, spring was rough!
i just got a septum piercing like 2 months ago and its still healing, so this vid is really great to know bc my allergies start to act up around this time 💀💀

😂 i got my septum pierced two years ago in April. Mind you, I had not experienced seasonal allergies in a few years. 😂 the pollen count randomly was extra high right after 😂😂😂😂😂 it was "fun"
For someone with a nasallang piercing, how would you go about putting nasal spray up your nose?
Very much depends on the placement of the nasallang and your anatomy. You may be able to work around the jewelry. However I know folks who have to remove jewelry to use nasal sprays and products.
Is there a specific type of nasal spray you recommend? I found sinex works very well for me and my 4 nose piercings
Hi there! I've been wanting to get my septum pieced but I have morning allergies almost every morning. After watching your video, I feel like it might not be the best to get my nose pierced since even allergy medicines don't help and I'm still having to blow my nose throughout my day. I would love your opinion on this if you do see this comment! Thank you for your time and this educational video! ^^
It might be a dust mite or down allergy or both. If it's especially bad in the morning it could be dust mites or the down stuffing in bedding. In my case it is. Might be worth getting it checked out.
Pollen season says welcome to hell and here's me just having gotten rid of the bump from my December flu. At least I've mastered blowing my nose without touching my piercings. I miss winter already.
I have allergy for low quality metals not just my skin, the smell of metal makes my nose get itchy and grumpy and so. When I wore low quality balls on my septum(not kidding just balls) that night I had a very uncomfortable sleep. When I woke up change it immediately
