He used to be a great drummer, this didn't sound too good to me. I could make an easy crack about spending too much time messing about with drum machines, but this drumming was very average. Wasn't too impressed with lead guitar, certainly not on the Steve New class.
Much underrated band with a talented line-up...
To be fair, Rich Kids weren’t really around long enough to be rated.
Great stuff. gHoSts oF pRiNcEs iN tOwErS....one of my favourite albums from my younger years,...lol.
I was at this concert. It was brilliant.
Thank you :) Now I can relive the memories when they start to fade, much appreciated
I went to the gig for Steve New .... I never knew they were playing again ....sad I missed it :-(
I was at the Steve New gig too. If it's any compensation, that was a better gig than this one!
Great song. The new guitarist fits in perfectly. The tempo just drags though, they're not THAT old...
Exactly. Had to be said! :)
Guitarist is Gary Kemp from Spandau Ballet
Gary Kemp plays in every fkn retro band?
They are now the Rich Granddads
The Rich Kids sound better than in the 70s. I was wondering if Midge Ure really does play his Vintage Signature model. He really does.
Loved that Rich Kids album!
The Rich Kids played again in 2016?! How on Earth did I miss this? I thought their only reunion show was in 2010 for the Steve New farewell.
always a great song, but I did notice its much slower than they played it back in the day,
Back in which day?
Glen Matlock, the mighty Midge Ure & Gary Kemp, on loan from Spandau Ballet, is it Rusty Egan on drums?
Yes it's Rusty.
And Neal X from Sigue Sigue Sputnik on guitar
Was this on the film Suburbia?
Pretty Freakin' Cool
Is that Barry Camp in the corner? 😆
Sounds great. Who's on keyboards?
Who,s that bloke who replaced Steve New ?
Looks like Gary Kemp from Spandau Ballet.
That's right.
Spandau were a power pop band before they jumped on the new romantic bandwagon. So this is right up Kemp's strasse.
Who's on drums, Glen's mum?
Rusty Egan, the original drummer.

Rusty Ego
Midge Springsteen!
was a sold out gig? looks quite empty
I'd say it was around 90% full, but I was at the front all night so can't be sure...
+Neuromental thanks mate! i bet was a great nite
Why can’t once good bands just leave it alone? This isn’t Rich Kids at all ,, it’s just an old mens cover band of them… Very disappointing
Chris Cross left, Midge followed. Left to rejoin the band he best fit.
Who?....SLIK..??
@@munkymoo3006 What???? what have SLIK got to do with this? ...apart from Midge Ure??!!
I agree with the others here. Disappointing performance. Too slow tempo. Egan is just plodding along. Ure's voice seems shot sadly.
The drummer sucks! Why would they have a guy like that - with such a great band?!
Glenn Smith - Ouch. You been given a hiding. Serves you right.
