- The Three Rules of Discipline and Eight Points for Attention is a military doctrine that was issued in 1928 by Mao Zedong and his associates for the Chinese Red Army, who were then fighting against the Kuomintang.

還真是，除了中國人民解放軍，還真沒見過太多其他的軍隊或軍事團體，對軍民互動有這麼詳細的紀律管束。👍
若不是這樣子，中共根本不可能快速爆兵（父母送孩子到解放軍去，更有一些是離開國軍到解放軍去的），★★★時間在日本投降時，解放軍只有90萬人，至國共內戰正式打響時，增兵到150萬人；到審陽戰役開始已經增加到220萬人，到三大戰役打完時，解放軍人數已經去到430萬人（當中，不少是國軍投降後轉身投入解放軍的!!）

Incidentally, these rules are STILL strictly followed (as far as they are relevant to the work at hand) in ANY kind of Party work out in the countryside and in other contexts - I know of no surer way to face Party discipline (up to and including expulsion) than by violating them.
